Another one! This is my second favorite pairing in Three Houses without a doubt.

Enjoy!

Another day, another bleak and miserable day. To Edelgard that is. Locked in prison.

Ever since one year ago when she lost the war because of her being manipulated by those who slither on the dark. Her desires to end Crests was used to the advantage of those.

"I shouldn't have been so foolish." Edelgard thought to herself. "I had a goal, but it was also in the wrong. Just as I was. But I had to walk this path."

Edelgard looked at her empress clothes. Scratch marks, some tears on it, and dark burn marks. As Edelgard looked in the mirror that was on the wall of the jail cell.

Her hair was messy. It looked strange with the horned crown. As she held her hair and looked at it with her own eyes as she sighed.

Edelgard then felt tears come to her eyes as she covered her eyes with both of her hands.

"This isn't the life I should've lead myself to." Edelgard muttered as she continued to cry. "I just wanted there to be a world without crests, with equality. I should have done something besides war. I just wanted…….to be with her."

Edelgard continued to cry to herself. When she heard the noise of heels walking on the solid stone ground of the prison. She continued to cry, as she payed the footsteps no attention.

"Hey, don't look down."

The voice spoke. Edelgard assumed that it belonged to the same person with the heels.

The prisoner empress looked up with tears still streaming down her face. She looked up to see the professor who had taught her house six years ago. The only one who pled for mercy against her. The twin sister of Byleth. As she looked down at Edelgard behind the cell.

Edelgard remembered that day. After those who slithered in the dark and Nemesis were defeated. She was left in the battlefield on her knees.

"Edelgard Von Hresvelg, by the acts of crime in which you have committed. Causing a war, disrupting thousands of years of peace, and siding with those who slither in the dark. I have no choice but to order you to execution." Seteth stated staring down at the empress. As everyone from each house was gathered around the battlefield as well as hundreds of soldiers.

"You have brought this on yourself. I'm afraid there's no other choice Lady Edelgard." Seteth stated as he closed his eyes.

"If that is what shall happen. Then it shall. Kill me already." Edelgard said looking to the ground on her knees. Edelgard wanted to cry, but couldn't. This was her fault and she knew it.

"As you wish." Rhea stated as she turned. "Professor."

Byleth did nothing. He just stood there and stared.

"Professor? Is something troubling you?" Rhea asked.

Byleth stood there. He then closed his eyes. "I will not." He said.

"What? Why?" Rhea asked shoeing some surprise.

"You are both not in the right. You were going to use my body as a vessel." Byleth said. "I will not execute her if you had wrong intentions as well."

Rhea stood there as she stared at the professor. She then gave a calm nod.

"I see. You are a fair man, professor." Rhea calmly spoke. Understanding Byleth's reason despite her hatred towards Edelgard for disrupting peace. "I believe then…."

"I will execute her."

Everyone was surprised by the words spoken by whoever it came from. As everyone turned to see who spoke.

The words came from none other than Dimitri. As he gripped Areadbhar with his right hand. "If no one else shall bring execution to her then I shall."

Edelgard's eyes widened as she gasped softly and quietly. She somehow expected Dimitri to volunteer. But was still surprised by the announcement of the lord.

Dimitri walked towards Edelgard as he stood at her side and raised Areadbhar with both of his hands.

"I wish I did not have to come to this. But your decision was final when you waged war." Dimitri felt a tears in his eye as he spoke. "Goodbye Edelgard."

As Dimitri was about to bring down the relic. Someone ran in front of Edelgard that stopped him.

"No! Don't kill her!"

Dimitri and everyone else was surprised at who was standing in front of Edelgard. Someone with a determined face and wouldn't move away from the Empress.

Edelgard looked up as her eyes widened.

It was none other than the female Eisner twin, Bileth. As she stood in front of her.

"Bileth, what are you doing?" Rhea asked. Keeping a cold and calm face.

"I'm sorry everyone. And I'm sorry Dimitri but I can't let you kill El!" Bileth shook her head. As tears started to form from her angry eyes. "I just won't!"

"Sister. Please step aside." Byleth said to his twin. "I know this is hard but…."

"But nothing! Why are we executing only El?! Shouldn't we also execute Rhea? She was going to use as a vessel brother!! A vessel!! Can't we just finish this with no violence?!" Bileth cried as more tears poured out of her eyes. "Please! For me!"

"How dare you say this to lady Rhea?!" Seteth asked. He understood how she felt but he still served Rhea.

"Professor, please stand aside." Dimitri spoke as he looked at her. "This must happen."

"No! I won't! I'm not losing another person I love!" Bileth exclaimed.

Edelgard's eyes widened in complete surprise as she didn't expect that answer out of her former teacher. Bileth, loved her?

"Teach, I know this is really hard. But this is for…" Claude was interrupted as Bileth put her hand in front of him.

"No! No no no!" Bileth then pulled out her Sword of the Creator as she stabbed it into the ground as she then put her arms out and spread them.

Bileth then spoke boldly. "If you want to get El, you'll have to go through me."

Bileth refused to budge at all. No matter what she would not move at all.

Rhea sighed. "I understand how you feel." She then turned to one of the guards. "Please have Edelgard be locked up in one of the prison cells. It shall not be decided by me if she is to be executed. I am to be judged as well."

Bileth shook. As she then cried and looked down at the ground.

"P-professor please." Edelgard was interrupted as Bileth hugged Edelgard so tightly in a flash as Bileth cried harder and harder into El's shoulder.

"I don't want you to go El." Bileth sobbed. "I know what you did was wrong but I don't want you to leave me."

"You……you….called me El." Edelgard smiled as she cried into her former professor's shoulder as well.

Edelgard still sat there still. As she continued to look up at Bileth. Who stated down at her.

"I….I didn't expect to see you after this time." Edelgard said as she looked down.

"El, why did you have to be in the dark? You could've solved this without violence." Bileth told her.

"I…I know…but…."

"Why?! If you knew then why did you start a war?!" Bileth said raising her voice. "At least…El…"

"I had my reasons." The Empress said to her former professor. "Why do you care?!"

"Because I care about you El!" Bileth exclaimed. "I love you! Ever since I met you that day, I saw something in you, in your eyes. In your! Did you ever stop and wonder, just, wonder. Why I joined the Black Eagles?"

"Because your brother joined the Golden Deer?" Edelgard asked as she looked at Bileth with cold eyes. Bileth then stood there in complete silence. "Tch, I figured as much. That's why after you two woke up five years, you went to his si-"

"That's not how it was!"

"Then how was it then professor?! You only joined his side because he is your brother! You would've only done what he has d-"

"THAT'S NOT TRUE EL!!!" Bileth cried out as tears formed in her eyes. Which caused Edelgard to go completely silent. "I WOULD'VE FOUGHT WE YOU IF I COULD DAMMIT!!"

Then, everything went completely silent. As Edelgard and Bileth looked at each other.

And before they knew it, they were both crying. As Bileth fell onto the ground on her knees, as she held the prison bars and cried. As Edelgard cried as well. Putting her head to the cell door.

The two put their heads together as they both continued to cry and cry.

Bileth sniffed as she wiped her eyes.

"Oh…professor." Edelgard stated as she looked down at the ground. "What are we going to do?"

Bileth slightly turned her head to the side. As she saw a guard walking by.

And that's when an idea sparked in her head.

Bileth stood up off of her knees without saying a word. Edelgard looked up slowly as she watched her walk away. To the guard, to be specific.

The guard turned to Bileth and smiled. As he gladly stated. "Greetings professor! Nothing to rep-"

When suddenly he stopped talking as Bileth kicked the knight in his private area. As the knight grabbed it and wheezed in pain.

"Oh..my…profess-" Bileth then ducked down and grabbed the knight's pants. Revealing a pair of boxers he was wearing.

"Hey! Stop right there!" The guards exclaimed as they tackled Bileth and stopped her from embarrassing the knight anymore.

Then two guards grabbed Bileth by her arms and walked her to another area.

Edelgard's face showed complete shock as she stared at her professor. "B-Bileth?"

Bileth in response smiled and winked at the empress.

Later…..

Edelgard was still waiting in her cell. Sitting on the bed. But suddenly she heard her cell door open as well as footsteps.

"Looks like you got a new roommate empress." The guard said as Edelgard looked up and saw a guard and Bileth. The latter walked into the cell as the guard closed the cell door from the other side and locked. "You two enjoy yourselves now."

As the guard walked away, Edelgard stood up and looked Bileth in the eyes. Bileth's eyes are filled with tears, but these tears were not of sadness. They were tears of joy, as Bileth looked at Edelgard.

"Oh El!" She exclaimed as she hugged her student tightly. As Edelgard responded by hugging her tightly as well.

"Oh, my professor. You don't know how happy I am to be with you again." Edelgard cried.

"And you don't know how happy I am as well!" The female Eisner twin exclaimed.

The two, were finally together again.

Wow, this chapter was fun to write.

Anyways so you all might be confused on this, so let me explain.

This one shot series will all take place within the same timeline. It's also sort of my own timeline where no one in in the Three Houses died, and that the final battle was everyone against those who slither in the dark and then Nemesis. You'll also find out what it concludes to soon.

Thank you all!
