Something had been troubling King Dimitri as of late. It wasn't battle or war, or the tragic moments of his past. Or that his people were sickened or hurt.

It was his wife, Ingrid. She had been worrying her husband and king as of late. And it wasn't for any critical reason. But Dimitri noticed something different about Ingrid lately.

It was her body. Ingrid had a small but very visible bump at her stomach area. But Ingrid never seemed to mind it, or notice it at all.

Dimitri found it strange that she didn't notice it. She was just doing her usual. Loving Dimitri, training and preparing a few of the soldiers. And joining her lovely husband for dinner and other meals. She acted as if the bump wasn't there at all.

The king himself was confused, so while the two sat down for dinner. Dimitri asked Ingrid a few things.

Beautiful, calming, and all set dinner table. As many soldiers and others were feasting in the castle's dining hall. Dimitri and his wife shared a meal to themselves in another room.

The meal was mainly turkey, as well as well picked vegetables and fine wine. In which Ingrid was dining well on the turkey. Enjoying every bite of it.

That's when Dimitri asked. "Um, excuse me Ingrid, but…have you been feeling alright lately?"

Ingrid looked at her husband and smiled. "Of course Dimitri. I've been fine. Are you okay?"

Dimitri nodded as he took a bite of his vegetables. "I've been fine, are you sure you've been alright Ingrid? Has anything changed for you recently?"

Ingrid blushed pink as she took a bite of her turkey leg. "I have been a little hungrier as of late."

Dimitri nodded. That was something clearly true. Dimitri had heard that someone had gone out into the kitchen during the night and had stolen some cold meat. Dimitri had also noticed that Ingrid was gone during those times of night. So it all matched up.

"I see. Has anything else been bothering you dear?" The king asked his wife. "I just want to make sure your alright."

Ingrid blushed as she twiddled her fingers a little. "I…well. I believe I might need a bigger bra size."

Dimitri was thinking in his head. "I…um….that's not exactly what I meant but…" He then spoke. "I see. We can go shopping soon."

"Alright. That sounds nice." Ingrid nodded. "I've also been feeling a little sick as of late. But it isn't really a big deal."

"Sickness? Are you ill Ingrid?" Dimitri asked out of curiosity.

Ingrid blushed more. "I. I don't believe so."

"Hmm. I see. As long as it isn't harming you and you don't mind it. I suppose it will leave at some point." Dimitri stated as he showed a small smile.

Ingrid smiled as well. "Right. Speaking of leaving at some point, my father is still in complete shock about you and I being married. Remember the day I told him?"

Dimitri chuckled. "I remember it. It was a few days after the war, wasn't it?"

"It was." Ingrid nodded. "He simply just couldn't believe it."

Flashback…County of Galatea..

It was an interesting day for House Galatea. Ingrid's father and the head of the house, Count Galatea himself. As he was sitting on his throne as he watched his soldiers walk around.

"This war really changed our lives." He said to himself. "I do indeed hope my daughter is okay."

That's when one of his guards walked up to Galatea.

"Count Galatea sir! Your daughter has come to visit you." The guard spoke boldly as he saluted the lead of the house.

"She has?! Ingrid has?! Is she alright?" Galatea almost jumped out of his throne in surprise and excitement.

"Yes she is, there is something she wishes to tell you." The guard then made his leave as Ingrid walked forward to her father. She seemed nervous yet happy to see her father after so long.

"Ingrid!! My daughter oh how happy I am to see you!" Galatea gladly exclaimed as he sat up from his throne and hugged Ingrid. "Oh how happy I am that you are safe. That dread war had been going on for so many years that I was worried sick every day!"

"Thank you father, I'm happy to see you as well." Ingrid smiled. It had truly been so long.

"Right, and now that this war is over. We should possibly keep searching for other houses to marry you with." He said.

"Of course." Ingrid thought to herself. Even if her father is still her kind, he still wished to marry her off to another royal family.

Instead of letting him continue to speak. Ingrid spoke.

"Um…actually father. There's something I have to show you, and tell you." Ingrid stated as the Count raised an eyebrow.

"What is it Ingrid?" He asked. Ingrid then showed her father her right hand. Which had a silver ring with a blue jewel engraved into it. Galatea's eyes widened.

"You…your married?" Galatea asked as he was shaking. "To….to who?"

"Well. I'm not married yet. But I am engaged." Ingrid stated. "And I am going to marry…" Ingrid turned. "Dimitri! You may came out dear."

That's when the King of Faerghus walked into the room standing next to his wife.

Dimitri nodded his head and bent on one of his knees. "Greeting Count Galatea, it is my highest thanks of your, that your daughter has took my hand in marriage."

Galatea just stood there, shaking with a face of extreme surprise and shock,

He then pointed at Dimitri. "Th-that's K-king-Dimitri. My daughter is marrying….THE KING?!"

"Yes." Ingrid nodded.

"I….I need to lie down." Galatea stated as he began walking slowly.

"His majesty needs to process everything. Thank you lady Ingrid." One of the guards bowed as helped the king to his bedroom.

Present…

"Thinking about that time makes me smile." Dimitri chuckled a little. As Ingrid also smiled.

"I'm happy to see you smiling." Ingrid stated.

And so the two kept dining on their meal.
