At the firehouse and back from a call, Egon just admitted to his friends about being gay soon after Peter admitted to being in love and having a kid with Janine. Peter: Please tell me that Egon's alive, Ray.

Winston: What could have done this to him?

Peter: Beats me.

Ray: Well, he's still alive. Maybe we can ask him what happened.

Winston: Sure, but look at him. He needs a hospital.

Ray: Good call. Peter, call 9-1-1.

Peter: And tell them what?

Ray: That Egon's been attacked and hurt pretty badly.

Peter: Sure.

Peter goes back upstairs. Both Ray and Winston stay with Egon.

Winston: Looks like he lost a good amount of blood.

Ray: And he's barely hanging on.

The next day, Egon wakes up in a hospital bed and wearing a hospital gown. He looks around and sees his friends surrounding him.

Ray: Egon, so glad you're awake.

Egon: Where am I?

Peter: At the hospital. Not sure if you remember, but we found you in the basement and something had attacked you.

Winston: You were cut up badly and lost a lot of blood.

Ray: Do you remember anything?

Egon: Not really. Must have happened really fast.

Egon lies. He knows what happened.

Peter: If it was a ghost, we should find this thing and capture it before it happens to someone else.

Egon: You do what you need to, Peter.

Then Egon tries to get up and Winston stops him.

Winston: Take it easy, man. You were attacked.

Egon: Winston, I have to use the bathroom.

Winston lets him take his IV bag and go directly to the bathroom.

Ray: Something isn't right, here.

Peter: What do you mean?

Ray: I've noticed that when we found Egon, he also had dried blood coming from his rectum.

Winston: Are you saying that some ghost raped Egon?

Ray nods.

Winston: And like a lot of traumatized victims, they block out what really happened.

Peter: Egon, what did you do?

Egon: I released the Boogieman.

Peter: Are you crazy? You could have been killed.
