Fire. Black flames. That's all the she can see. It's everywhere, covering everything she can see. Especially things she doesn't want to think about, want to even consider what they are at all. The flames consume everything. They approach fast, consuming her. It burns. It burns! IT BUR-

Bee jerks up in bed, sweating profusely and gasping for air. It was just a dream...? She sighs in relief, then winces in pain. That's a bandage on her head. Wonderful. Wait, her scarf is missing. The no longer scarfed girl panics, searching around frantically. Spotting in on a nightstand next to her, she puts in back in place as quick as lightning.

She relaxes, glancing around at her surroundings. Noticing her teammates from the colosseum battle, minus the masked man and plus the enemies' axe fighter, Bee deduces she's in the infirmary. But how did she get her injury? Last thing she remembers was rushing that mage. And magic is real?! Far from home indeed. The girl sadly stares down, uncomfortably aware of how homesick she is. Maybe she can find a way home in this world somehow. After all magic is real so anything could be possible.

Bee glances up as that regal looking man enters, heading instantly for 'Teach' as he called himself. The princely man sighs in exasperation at the bedridden fighter, facepalming. He shakes his head, turning to leave but stops, noticing Bee's gaze. Smiling pleasantly, he heads over to her.

"Say, you did pretty well out there. Not many can break through Vaike after all. I'm Chrom, leader of the Shepherds. May I ask your name," the now introduced Chrom politely asks. Bee blinks at him, before revealing the name on her scarf to him, while hiding a bit of her face shyly. He is very... intimidating to the hiding girl. Chrom smiles wider, and sits in a chair next to her bed.

"Bee huh? That's a nice name. Sounds foreign, at least here in Regina Ferox. Course where you are from isn't my business. I was actually wondering if you had any plans for the immediate future." Chrom probes her, but not in a mean way.

Bee shakes her head at him and Chrom continues, "Would you like to join the Shepherds? You are a fantastic warrior and the Shepherds could use someone like you. Oh I'm getting ahead of myself. The Shepherds are a militia force for the Halidom of Ylisse. Ylisse is very understaffed in our military so every person helps, truly!"

Taken aback by such an offer, Bee doesn't respond for a few moments, playing with her scarf, then quietly replies, "Can I think about it?"

Chrom smiles in a reassuring way this time and nods, getting up to head out. Bee waves as he files out of the room, dropping her hand slowly once he's out of sight. She sighs, glancing at the sword next to her. Is she really that great? All she did was block some swings, at least from what she remembers. Shaking her head, she unsteadily gets out of bed, placing th- her sword back where it belongs. She'll never get used to the fact that she owns this blade. Also she will need to name it sometime, as calling it just a sword or blade doesn't feel right anymore. The girl stumbles out of the infirmary, heading towards party noises in the distance.

A massive party rages on in the colosseum. If where Basilio was wasn't obvious by his booming laughter, Bee might have gotten lost. Unsteadily making her way through the crowd, she remembers why she never went to parties. Too loud and too crowded. Two things she dislikes greatly. Her foot catches on a cup lying on the ground and she tumbles.

A hand is outstretched to her, "Let me help you up," a voice calls to her. She takes ahold of the hand and pulls to her feet. It's the white haired girl from the colosseum. Bee awkwardly stares at her, and she stares back. The coated girl coughs, gesturing for Bee to follow her. She leads Bee to a quieter part of the party.

She looks back at Bee, "We can talk now that it's a little less quiet. I'm Robin, the tactician for the Shepards. You're the girl who made me question my plans. N-not that that's bad or anything. I'm just kinda peeved I didn't think of someone like you being here." Robin scratches her cheek nervously.

Bee hesitantly smiles, "I-I'm Bee. Nice to meet you, Robin. And uh, sorry for ruining your plans? I don't really know how..." The scarfed girl looks awkwardly down. Robin blinks, confusion playing across her face.

"You took out Vaike, don't you remember? You summoned flames on your sword, teach me how to do that please, and cut through his axe. You then knocked him out and ate a wind blade from Miriel. You sure you don't remember that?" Robin asks in confusion. Bee blinks, before looking at her blade in utter shock. She shakes her head, and starts twiddling her fingers nervously.

The tactician waves it off, "Well I guess it doesn't matter too much. It was good meeting you, Bee. Hopefully we can meet again sometime." Bee stares at Robin's retreating form, hesitating.

She calls out to the white haired girl, "Hey Robin, could you take me to Chrom? I wanted to answer a question he asked me." Bee shuffles nervously. There was no going back after this. Robin stops, smiling back at Bee and nods, walking off in one direction, the scarf wearing girl following.

The main table of the party wasn't very full. Only Chrom, Basilio and a woman Bee assumed was Flavia were seated there. All three of them look up at the two girls approaching them.

Basilio stands up, laughing boisterously, "The two girls of the hour! Nice of you to join us, finally!" Bee trips over herself hearing this, the tactician beside her catching the scarfed girl. Basilio laughs louder at this. Chrom also stands, smiling brightly.

"Ah I see you found her, Robin. Nice job, ever observant tactician." Chrom congratulates, a twinkle in his eyes. Robin rolls her eyes, smiling. Bee looks curiously at them. The two seem to be great friends. Shaking her head, Bee looks at Chrom. The girl nods at him when she catches his attention.

Chrom, smiling widely, claps her on the back, "Welcome to the Shepards then Bee!" Robin stares at Chrom, seemingly disappointed by something. Bee hides herself behind her scarf under Basilio'a gaze.

The old Khan laughs, "Ah i was hoping you'd stay here to fight for me! You've taken two of my most promising fighters now, Chrom!" Chrom chuckles nervously as Robin facepalms.

She stares at Chrom sighing, "So you not only steal another of Basilio's fighter but also steal the chance of me giving an offer to join the Shepards too? Dang it Chrom!" She shakes her head, faking great disappointment. They both laugh at this. Bee awkwardly stands to the side. The party environment was already giving her a headache.

Robin turns to her, and noticing her discomfort, says, "Hey, wanna get out of here for a bit? I've heard this place has an interesting library." Bee blinks, and nods. Robin smiles and waved to Chrom before the two girls head out.
