Snow lazily drifted all around Bee as she walked slowly towards the Shepard's meeting point. The scarfed girl yawns, having woken up before dawn to be prepared to leave with Chrom and his entourage. She curses, the cold biting at her. How is it so warm in the Colosseum without the modern technology she's used to? It's probably magic. The girl continues onwards, a bit faster now. She can see a small group ahead. Must be the Shepard's. She can pick Chrom and Robin out and walks towards them. The two, hearing her, turn towards the scarfed girl.

Chrom smiles, "Glad you could make it, Bee. We were just about to head out. Though I guess we need to introduce to you to the Shepherds." Robin rolls her eyes, staring pointedly at Chrom. The man in question coughs, "I-I guess I'll do the introductions then," he gestures over to the group behind him that are watching curiously, "I'll start simple. The stern looking man behind me is Frederick. You might have seen him in the arena on his stead charging... well anything that moved. You know Vaike and Miriel already I assume. The stern woman in red armor is Sully. She's very... fired up about fighting. Her horse is the same way which causes... too many issues around camp. Her more calm friend in the green armor is Stahl. He's very passionate about food, cooking and herbary. Tending to the Pegasus over there is Sumia. She's basically the Shepherds' mom, always looking after us. Makes great pies too. Our newest edition brooding over in the corner in Lon'qu. According to Basilio, he's an amazing swordsman. Though he has a fear of woman so I don't recommend approaching him suddenly. Last but not least is our healer and my sister Lissa. She's a troublemaker and very delica-"

Chrom was cut off as a staff collides with his face, a blonde girl with pigtails, Lissa probably, storming up to him. She shouts at him, "Chrom, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not DELICATE?!" while picking up her staff. Chrom laughs while rubbing his head. Bee stares awkwardly at the two, Lissa just yelling at him. She turns as armor clinks up behind her, the armor knight from the arena standing there, just as awkward as she was.

He speaks, "H-Hi, I'm Kellam. Captain Chrom forgot to introduce me. I'm not very noticeable according to most people." Bee couldn't see how. He may be plain looking but he's in a giant set of armor. How is someone supposed not to notice him? She stares at him, confusion apparent on her face. Kellam awkwardly stands there for a few moments before shuffling off. Bee watches him go, feeling as awkward as he looked. Well at least she knew his name now. Ah, Chrom and Lissa are done arguing. Well, if one sided yelling is arguing. Seems everyone is packing up to head out now. The scarfed girl looks down at herself. It's just her, her clothes, and the sword she still hasn't named. Guess she'll use the travel time to come up with one.

Dyrnwyn. That's the name she'll use. She remembers from a mythology class she took that it was the sword of one of the three Generous Men of Ancient Britain. Rhydderch Hael if she recalled correctly. He was a charitable and upstanding man if she recalled correctly. Bee would hope she could be half as great as him.

Oh, the rest have stopped. There's a boy with a pot on his head talking to Chrom. He was calling him Prince? Chrom is much more important than he lets on. Or he's too humble. Bee doesn't know which. The boy was pleading for help. Something about bandits in an old castle. She was too far to hear the exact details.

Chrom turns back towards the everyone behind him, "Alright Shepherds, there's an old castle filled with bandits. They have hostages. We need to be quick and quiet. Robin will fill in each of you individually." He turns to talk to the boy. The tactician next to him starts handing out orders she had written down.

When she approaches Bee, she smiles sadly, "You're going in alone. Through a secret entrance Chrom knows of. Sorry to put this on you, but I know you're literally the only person we have that's remotely stealthy." Bee stares and stares. Of course she had the bad luck to have quiet footsteps. The girl sighs, looking down. The tactician puts a hand on the scarfed girl's shoulder, "You got this, Bee. Regardless what you think, you have an excellent mind and an arm just as great."

Bee smiles at the tactician, "Thank you, Robin. I appreciate it. I'll do my best." She looks at the blade at her side, the newly named Dyrnwyn. She'll just have to rely on it in this upcoming fight. Mentally preparing herself, she heads off.

There's so many cobwebs in this damn passage! Bee scowls as she sees more than a few spiders. Damn Robin for making her do this! Oh, there's the exit. She guesses it's time to stealth. The girl carefully opens the exit, peering out cautiously. Three men, all with axes, facing away from her. That's awfully convenient. They do certainly look like bandits though. Dirty, wearing rough clothing with shoddily made axes. This is an opportunity the scarfed girl can't afford to waste. She creeps out of the passage, silently drawing her sword. Guess it really was beneficial for her kendo classes to teach silent drawing of blades. She'll never question her teacher again. Well if she ever sees her again.

The scarfed girl quietly exhales, creeping up behind the man closest to her, before slamming the hilt of Dyrnwyn into the back of his head, knocking him out instantly. The other two turn around instantly, holding their axes out threateningly. They... obviously don't know how to use the axes they're carrying. She stares at the two impassively, holding her blade out in front of her. The two men look at each other, before charging her. Bee dodges the first man's axe swing, and deflects the second. She slams the flat side of her blade into the second man's head, knocking him unconscious.

The scarfed girl turns to the first man, who is shaking in clear fear. He drops his axe, surrendering. Bee nods, gesturing to some rope. Bee and the bandit gather the two unconscious ones and the girl tied the three of them up.

The first speaks, "Why didn't you kill us? You're a Shepherd right? A death sentence for bandits like us." Bee stares at him in confusion. She shakes her head, responding, "The Shepherds... Chrom kills bandits?" The man nods. Bee stares, sheathing her blade. She turns around, heading out. Killing is wrong, even if it's on an evil person. She was going to get an answer from Chrom.

AN: Done. This chapter was hard to get out tbh. But I did it.
