Eclipse slowly opened her eyes, she tried to rub her talons over her eyes, but she found that she couldn't move. She looked down to see that her talons and her tail were chained to the ground, in a panic she tried to move her wings, but to her dismay, they were chained to. She then saw through her night vision, the chained forms of her friends.
"Eclipse, What happened? Where are we?" Secretkeepers voice rang out though the now identified cave.
The young ShadeWing thought for a minute before responding. "I think we were captured by the DawnWings," Eclipse said and Secretkeeper spoke up again. "Captured? How? For what purpose?" The NightWing asked as Eclipse answered, "That I do not know. But we shall learn in time." After Eclipse spoke, Moon chimed in quietly. "How will we escape? We're chained to the ground, so flying is out of the question." The SpiritWing pointed out. But before anything else could be said on the matter, a figure appeared in the small light made by the torches.
"Hn. Relax, I'm here to get you all out of here, but we have to be quiet." Then the figure melted the chains and clasps that were confining the dragonet's movements.
"Hay," Secretkeeper whispered. "Who... or, I guess, what are you?" The other dragons gave nods in agreement as the figure revealed themself. But... what they saw made them stair with wide eyes. Eclipse was the first to regain her voice, as she spoke.
"You-You're a-a scavenger? B-But how did you make fire come out of your mouth like that?" The ShadeWing asked in shock. The ravin-haired girl laughed quietly and replied, "hn. Well, I guess I should introduce myself first. My name is Uchiha Keena, It's a pleasure to meet you." Keena said with a bow and a small smile on her face. Then she continued speaking after a short pause, "What are your names?" The girl asked them as she gave them another respectful bow, witch confused the 4 dragons.
"Well, my name is Secretkeeper," the black dragon Sid with a flap of her midnight-blue wings. Then she continued, "and these are my friends, Eclipse, the ShadeWing, Snowseaker, the NightWing-IceWing hybrid, and last but not least is Moonlight, the SpiritWing. It's very nice to meet you as well, Keena." The girl gave a nod and turned to check there surroundings. Her eyes bled into the deep crimson of the Sharingan, and with her in handed vision, she was able to check there surroundings more closely with her chakra.
"The coast is clear, now's our chance. Follow me," Keena said as she turned to the dragons, who were all giving her strange looks.
"Hn. Is something wrong, Snowseaker-Chan?" She asked as the black and white dragon spoke. "W-Why are your eyes red? Is that normal?" The hybrid asked in concern and worry as she she stared at the girl's red-toned eyes. The Uchiha girl just giggled and replied cooly. "Hn. It's called the Sharingan, it's my clans bloodline ability, there's nothing to worry about, Snowseaker-Chan." Keena replied with a smile as her eyes faded back to the obsidian black color.
It had been going smoothly for about a few hours, before it went downhill in a matter of seconds. "Hay! You there! halt!" The shout was followed by a sunset-red-colored dragon. The DawnWing guard launched a burst of flames at the 4 dragons and the Uchiha girl, but... Keena did something that no one was expecting. She flew throgh motions with her hands before she yelled out something surprising, "fire style, fireball jutsu!" All the dragons... even the DawnWing stood shell shocked as the huge fireball rushed towards the red dragon at an unnatural speed. The stunned DawnWing had no time to do anything as he was hit. He flew into the nearby wall with a hard thud.
"Now's are chance, come on, hurry!" Snowseaker cried as they all ran down the dark hallway. And a while later the exit was in sight. But... things got even worse once they exited into the black starry night sky. "Oh, Three Moons! We are all going to die!" Secretkeeper and Eclipse shouted in unison. The sky was covered by red and black dragons. "StarClan pleas help us!" Snowseaker prayed as the group of DawnWings and DuskWings came in from all sides, trapping them with no way out in sight.
"Dawn-DawnWings! What are we going to do?" Eclipse asks with wide eyes and shaking wings, Secretkeeper and Snowseaker having the same horrified expression her face as the other 2 dragons. "I thought we were never going to see them again?" Secretkeeper cried out in terror. "I... I... I think we made them mad during our last encounter with them," Snowseaker squeaked as she unsheathed her claws to defend herself. "We won't leave this time, Snow." Eclipse promised as she stared into her friends eyes. Moon and Keena just blinked in confusion, not knowing why the other 3 dragonets were so terrified of these dragons. But... based on what they were talking about, it seemed as if Eclipse, Snowseaker, and Secretkeep had a bad run-in with the DawnWings in the past.
"What's wrong guys? Why are you so terrified?" Moon asked in concern, her sky-blue eyes wide with confusion and worry. "Um, hay, Keena? Do you know why my friends are acting so strange?" The small dragon asked in a quiet voice. The Uchiha responded with a sad expression on her face. "Hn. Well Moon-Chan, even the strongest of opponents has a weakness. If you don't share someones pain, you will never understand them. I think that something must've happed to your friends, something that we may not fully understand." The SpiritWing listened with wrapped attention to the girl's wise words.
There had been fire, lightning, and ice attacks flying everywhere for the last 2 hours. And in that time, both Keena and Moon had slowly and gently coaxed Eclipse, Secretkeeper, and Snowseaker to join the fight alongside them. About 2 more hours past and finally... the DawnWings and DuskWings gave up retreated, flying back to there homes.
"Wait, wait, wait, you mean... you mean... you have to leave? But why?" Moon asked as Keena gave a sad smile and a tired sigh, "hn, I don't live in this world. I have to go back home to my parents, my overprotective older brother, and my younger brother. But I have a feeling that we'll meet again." She told them with sad but bright smile on her face. Keena then turned to Eclipse, Secretkeeper, and Snowseaker with serious expression on her face. "Eclipse, Secretkeeper, and Snowseaker, remember these words." Keena began, "growth occurs when one goes beyond one's limits. Realizing that is also part of training. My older brother, Itachi, spoke those same words to me." And with those final words, a bright flash of appeared and when it faded, Keena Uchiha was gone. But the 4 dragons had learned another valuable lesson, that you can truly become strong by having someone important to you, even though the Uchiha girl would often show no emotion or her habit of saying, hn, was a bit strange, in the end, they had made a kind and caring friend in the strange, kind, and sometimes closed off and aloof Uchiha girl.
A lot had happenid since the 4 dragonets had been kidnapped, and they had made a new friend during the 2 months, they had met 3 new friends. A shy and sassy SilkWing named Startail, a quiet and gentle IceWing named Ermine, and a kind and gentle SeaWing named Tempest.
"Hay, Tempest, Ermine, Startail, over here!" The three dragons turned to see Eclipse and Snowseaker flying towards them. "I wish Ocean was here," Ermine remarked with a sad sigh and Tempest nodded in agreement. The SeaWing then spoke up, after short while, "I wish she was here too, Ermine. I really do, but you know she's traveling with her parents right now. Did you forget already?" The SeaWing asked with a teasing grin and gleam in her aqua-green eyes. After that little conversation, the 2 dragons they went flying with Eclipse and Snowseaker. Later on Secretkeeper and Moon came flying over to them, and the 2 dragons seemed to be almost out of breath.
"Oh, my StarClan! You 4 sure are fast! How do you do it?" Moon asked them, still panting. Tempest laughed quietly and replied after a short while, "Well, we have been flying for most of the day, we should take a break." It was true, both Eclipse and Moon had almost fallen out of the sky multiple time in the past 5 minutes. So they all decided to fly back to Eclipse's house since it was the closest. They all had a very productive day indeed, but they were proud of it.
"Hay, Startail-Chan? Can you please teach me how to make the fire-silk stuff?" The ShadeWing asked with a bright smile on her face. The deep-blue-and-silvery-white SilkWing dragonet nodded her head eagerly in response. They had all developed Keena's strange formality's in the past 2 months as well.
"You know Eclipse, I wish I was like you. Do all ShadeWings have the powers of the other dragon tribes?" Startail asked with cerise's look on her face. She was currently teaching the young ShadeWing how to use her recently developed Fire-silk powers.
"Nope, I'm the only one." She replied cheerfully, "I was born that way, in fact, when I was really little, I accidentally froze my little sister, Luna, with frost breath." Eclipse said with a sheepish smile on her face. Startail had a mix of shock and amusement written on her face.
"Oh, my StarClan! I hope she's okay." The SilkWing said, and Eclipse replied with a wide grin, "She's fine, I melted all the ice with fire," the black dragonet replied with a smile as she went back to learning about flame-silk or whatever it was called.
