Devilman: The Power of Amon
AN: Well, here's the next chapter of The Power of Amon. Let's see what our favorite demon has to go through in this one.
Now to reviews.
Guest DCDGojira: I'll check it out. And thanks.
Kaiju-O-Danny: Thank you for the praise. Don't worry, I'll have more Amon/Miki interactions in the future
MalachimKin: Glad to see this interested you. Thanks!
Clipped Wings
Amon groaned as he felt the muscles in his body ache. He couldn't believe how much the last fight took out of him. This hampering of power really slowed his plans to a crawl. If other demons discovered in what state he is, and if the rumor began spreading… he could already imagine Zennon gleefully laughing at the prospect.
No, he needed to bide his time, get his strength back, and only then reinstate himself back into the devil society. Power meant everything in the Demon Tribe. You lack power, you die, simple as that. And considering how famous, even infamous Amon was, the lack of power he once possessed would spell his doom.
Right now, he was thinking of how to regain his strength. Perhaps through a multitude of transformations so this human body could get used to it or maybe even increase the strength of the human body as well.
"Akira?"
Amon snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Kaori's voice. She sat across the table they were eating on, each with a plate of sushi on it.
"Are you alright, son? You seem deep in thought," she said.
"It's fine, mom," Amon answered. "Just thinking about what I should do today."
"Well, just remember that you're babysitting Sachiko today," Kaori said to which made Amon flinch a little. Kaori raised an eyebrow. "You didn't forget, did you? You know how much she likes to play with you."
"Oh, no, no. I didn't forget," Amon answered. Sachiko was a neighbor's daughter, a little bit younger than Taro. After school, Akira would usually take on babysitting duty when her parents had to work late. So of course since Akira had to do it, now Amon had to as well.
'Great. Now I need to care of a kid. I'm starting to think possessing this body was a mistake,' Amon thought as he took a bite of his sushi.
He just hoped the school wasn't as boring as usual today.
No, it was much worse.
"I swear," Amon growled out as his eyes seemed to burn with hate. "If I hear that fool blabber just one more time, I'm gonna-"
"Oh, come on, Akira," Miki intervened, slightly tapping Amon on the shoulder. "Mr. Alphonne isn't that bad."
"Ugh, please tell me how him talking proudly about his family heritage has anything to do with English classes?"
Miki then put a finger on his chin before looking to the side. "Well, I admit he can get a little carried away."
"He better hope that I don't get 'carried away' next time I'm in his presence," Amon said.
Miki then walked in front of Amon, stopping him. "Okay, Akira, what's the matter with you? Why are you suddenly so antagonistic? You never complained about Mr. Alphonne before."
"Maybe I grew up."
"I hardly think throwing a temper tantrum like a five-year-old is something a grown-up would do."
Amon then glared and moved his face right in front of hers. "Did you just insult me?"
Miki crossed her arms. "My point exactly."
"Hrk… why you…" Amon stammered. He then took a breath and calmed down. No wonder he liked this girl. She had that certain fire in her, one that he has seen before. "Ah, fine. Let's just go to our next class."
Miki then smiled before giving a nod. "Much better. Now let's go."
The two then resumed their walking with an even step, without Amon grumbling about hurting someone. They passed a group of three girls, all of whom were looking at their phones, and Amon couldn't help but overhear a little.
"Did you see this news outlet?"
"Yeah, I've seen it before. I can't believe my eyes."
"To think they saw a demon."
This made Amon stop as his eyes widened. Did he hear it right?
"Excuse me, Miki. I have to check on something," he said before leaving a confused Miki behind and approaching the girls. "Hey, what are you three talking about?"
The girls looked at him in slight surprise before one of them shrugged and turned her phone towards Amon. "Oh, it's just something that was uploaded this morning."
Amon took the phone and took a look, which made him look in shock at what he saw. There was an article page with a head title 'A Strange Sight at the Docks. Who Is The Mysterious "Devilman"?'
And beneath this title was a picture, one that had a silhouetted flying figure against the light of the moon. The details couldn't be seen properly, but Amon could notice from the outline that showed the horns, tail, and wings that it was indeed him.
Amon's mouth slightly hung open. Somebody was able to take a picture of him after his fight with that elephant demon? It wasn't a clear picture, sure, but it was still worrying.
"I know. Freaky, right?" one of the girls said after seeing Amon's reaction.
"You know, it's probably just a hoax."
"No way!"
Amon just returned the phone and walked back to Miki, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead.
"Hey, Akira, what's the matter?" Miki asked.
"Bah, it's nothing. Just some gossip," Amon said dismissively.
"Um, alright then," Miki said, not wanting to press him.
While Amon was calmer on the outside, his mind was racing with worries. Oh, that wasn't good. The loss of his power made him sloppy, and now his picture was on the internet. From what he had seen, the demons were able to at least blend into society, which means that they would more than likely see it.
Amon was one of the most recognizable demons ever, so even if it was only a silhouette many could tell that it was him, so they would most definitely be on the lookout for him. Especially those who wanted to destroy him.
He needed to get his strength back, and fast. Otherwise "Devilman" will be history.
Typing on his laptop was a man with short brown hair and a goatee dressed in a brown business suit, white shirt, and a red tie. He was currently seated on the couch located inside a pretty fancy apartment, looking over any news.
'Hmm, a flood here, a shooting there, an idiotic presidential speech there,' the man thought as he scrolled through the net, a smile etched on his face. 'These humans are so amusing.'
However, as he searched something caught his eye. He mouse-clicked on the link titled 'Mysterious Devilman' and once the site opened his eyes widened.
'No, it couldn't be.'
"What's the matter, Kaim?"
Kaim was snapped out of his shock when he saw who called him. It was a beautiful woman with long flowing white hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wore a long revealing white dress that showed her big breasts and wide hips.
"Oh, Sirene. I'm just… well, looking over-"
Sirene didn't let him finish as she moved over to see for herself. She gasped as her eyes widened.
"Amon?" she breathed out. "Can it really be?"
Kaim bit his lip. "Look, it's only a picture. We can't really say-"
The glare Kaim received from Sirene shut him up immediately. "Don't be a fool. You know as well I do that there is nothing else this could mean." She then turned away from him. "Do you really think it would be a coincidence that some demon looked just looked like Amon, or that some human made a fake that accidentally resembles him greatly? Don't let your pathetic jealousy rot your brain."
Kaim couldn't help but look at the ground disappointed. "Alright then," he said in a softer tone. "Shall we inform Zennon?"
"No. Let him find out for himself," she said before opening the door to the balcony. "You'd better not disturb me for a while. And make a schedule for my next modeling appointments."
"Yes, Sirene. Whatever you say."
"Good." Sirene then walked outside and closed the door behind her. She then let her dress fall to the floor, leaving her in her undergarments.
Sirene then gave a sigh. "Oh, Amon. You've finally returned after so long." She then laid herself on a folding chair, her eyes looking over the afternoon sky. "Why didn't you come to me? Do you not miss my body?"
Her hand went to grab her breast under the bra while the other went underneath her panties. Her mind went back to long ago, back when Amon was still with them. She remembered his handsome features. The strong jaw, the wild look in his eyes, those mighty muscled limbs.
She then began massaging her breast, and her fingers working beneath her panties. "Amon, I… cannot wait any longer." Her mind went back to the time where the two of them tore through a group of rebellious demons, both covered in blood before Amon began groping her from behind and the two rutting right in the middle of the carnage they caused.
Sirene then pleasured herself faster than before, making her breath hitch and her eyes to become glossier. "I want to, agh, see you. There was, ugh, n-nobody like you. No, mmmm, devil could compare!"
Her panting became more rapid as she rubbed her sensitive spots. She could feel herself getting close.
"I'll, gah, ngghh, f-find you soon! Ah, ahhh, you'll see j-just how much, ahhhh, I love you! How much, mmhhm, I'm better than t-that bitch." Her nails turned into claws, her teeth became sharp, and her hair slowly turned into wings.
"Oh, Amon! Ahhhhh, AMON!"
Back inside the apartment, Kaim was clenching his fists as a slight spark of electricity appeared around him. His teeth were clenched in frustration as he heard Sirene moan on the balcony.
After all this time, despite how long they have been partners, no matter how much he tried, Sirene only saw Amon and nobody else. Hearing her speak his name during such throes of pleasure only furthered the frustration he felt for Amon over the millennia.
Kaim's eyes then glared at the image of Amon on his laptop.
'Why? Why couldn't you have just stayed dead, you bastard?!'
Amon, Miki, and Miko walked through the school gates where Amon began stretching. Miko couldn't help but stare.
"Agh, finally!"
Miki frowned. "Will you please stop complaining already?"
"Oh, come on! Don't tell me you don't feel the same about that huge waste of time behind us."
"That 'waste of time' helps us get through life?"
"Yeah, sure, whatever."
"And it also helps us hang out together. Or do you find our practices boring as well?"
"Never said all of it was bad."
Miki then pinched her nose. "Ugh, you're insufferable!"
Amon smiled. He really liked pushing her buttons so she could break her usual kind demeanor.
Suddenly, Miki quickly went for her phone. "Oh, god, I forgot! I need to help mom with something soon! And I didn't cancel my appointment with Mr. Nagasaki!" She then put her phone away. "He's probably still behind the school now. I better-"
Miko then put a hand on her friend's shoulder. "I'll take care of Mr. Nagasaki. You go and help your mom."
Miki then gave a quick hug to Miko, surprising her. "Oh, thank you, you're the best!" She broke the hug before turning to Amon. "I'll see you tomorrow, Akira! And you, Miko!"
She then began running towards home, also showing her athletic capability with how fast she was going.
"So, Akira," Miko began. "H-how about we hang out tonight?"
Amon let out a sigh, not wanting to say the next words. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I have to babysit the neighbor's daughter, so I'll be busy." Then he moved closer to her and put a hand on her cheek. "Some other time. I promise I'll more than make it up to you."
He kissed her lips, a kiss she gladly returned.
"I'll see you later, Miko," Amon said before giving her a wave and leaving.
She waved back. "You as well, Akira!"
Miko then quickly hurried over to where the Koji Nagasaki was located. She found the man's car parked next to the school, and the man himself was on his phone, no doubt waiting for Miki.
Koji Nagasaki was a tall but thin man, with dark hair that was shaved on the sides, and brown eyes. He was dressed in a white shirt, dark jacket, and jeans.
Seeing Miko near his car, he opened his window. "And who might you be?" he asked.
"Oh, my name's Miko Kuroda. I'm sorry to say, but Miki won't be able to make it to the shoot today. She wanted to tell you herself, but she didn't have time."
"Oh? Well, that's a real shame. We had a good theme today, too," Nagasaki said. Then he seemed to gain a strange glint in his eyes before turning to Miko with a smile. "Tell me, what did you say your name was, again?"
Amon, in a more casual wear of a red shirt and blue pants, stood in front of the neighbor's house as he waited for the school bus to arrive. Sachiko's classes should be over by now and she should be here soon.
He really wished to hang out with Miko or Miki instead, and not have to watch over a preteen girl.
Eventually, the bus did indeed arrive, and out of it came out a young girl with long black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a small pink dress and simple shoes, a school bag was held in her hand.
The moment she saw 'Akira' her eyes lit up and she gained a bright smile before running over to him, quickly wrapping her small arms around his waist in a hug.
"Oh, Akira, it's so good to see you! You haven't been here a long time!"
'Kids and their short attention spans,' Amon thought before hugging the young girl back. "I wasn't gone for that long. Only a couple of weeks."
She looked at him with a pout and shook her head. "No, that's too long! We should play every day! You're a better play pal than anyone at school!"
'I'm not sure that's a good thing. Akira Fudo, where the hell was your integrity?' Amon thought. Then an idea came to him. "Hey, Sachiko, listen." He then kneeled down to her eye level. "Why don't I… make up for the time I wasn't here? How about you go inside, change, and prepare what we should do for the day?"
Sachiko blinked. "You want me to prepare what we should do?" she asked to which she received a nod. "I don't know, Akira. That could take a while."
"I don't mind. I'd gladly wait for you. I'm sure you'll come up with something great," Amon said as he gave Sachiko an affectionate head pat. "I believe in you, Sachiko."
The young girl immediately brightened up. "Okay! We'll have a great time!" she exclaimed before hurrying into her house.
'Good. This will give me at least a while alone. Good thing the girl is a bit undecided when it comes to things.'
Amon then quickly went to the backyard of the house, taking off his shirt which showed Akira's slim build and immediately, went down to do some pushups.
'If I make this body stronger, it should be able to hold my form longer and release more of my power. It will take a while, but I WILL get my power back. They better be ready for the Demon Hero Amon!'
AN: Okay, this one is on the shorter side, and there isn't really any Devilman action here, but I hope you ended up enjoying it. And yeah, this chapter definitely showed why I had this marked as 'Explicit'. I just hope that the scene didn't make you cringe.
So please, leave a review if you liked it, they are great motivators. And check out my other stories if you liked this one.
See you next time!
