She wandered Seyda Neen, talking to various people. Fargoth had gotten his ring back, which Monika was a little upset about, considering it was an easy heal. Though accepting that quest to spy on him had given her hopes. She had also bought an iron saber, iron shield, and iron cuirass with what little money she had from Arille. It was tricky to get used to their weight, but she figured it was all part of the fun. Putting on said cuirass was tricky, until she realized she didn't have to put it on the normal way, and could do it the game's way, by dropping it over the paper doll version of herself in her inventory. The sudden weight took some getting used to, but a surprise was that she could still feel, and see, her shirt underneath it. Well that'll be useful I think.

But what was a happy moment for her was when she had stopped near the water's edge, looking down. Said water was as reflective as it should be, and within, her own face smiled back at her. It was the face she recognized, the face she knew now she had been programmed with. Her hair too was still the same color and length, complete with the bow. But there were subtle differences too. She seemed older, she thought, by a few years or so. Dirtier, like she'd expect from a long sea voyage. This'll prove interesting, she thought. Bathing without access to good soap. Or shampoo. Hell, even conditioner is beyond what they can make. She was possibly tougher too. And her voice had remained the same, the sweet teenager's voice she was used to, but again, older, rougher.

She could somehow "sense" where the mods were too. Or at least, sense a few. Near the silt strider was a man who claimed to be an Inquisitor, flanked by 2 guards, claiming to be looking for someone, but wanted her to talk to a khajiit named Lionhead. There was also an inlet, with a dry dock, and a man claiming that he could build an airship for her, so long as she provided the right materials, starting with about 50,000 gold. On the one hand? A literal flying ship sounded AWESOME. On the other hand? She had NOWHERE near that much.

She was now outside a cave, the game telling her it was called "Addamasartus." From what she had gathered, there were bandits in here, so she made another save before heading in. The first bandit was relatively easy for her to deal with, albeit she missed a few hits, though it sadly felt all too real to her, especially as said bandit bled out once dead. What helped the mood was the drums of the combat music that played. Her body had a key, which she took. Heading deeper, she found a pen the key unlocked, and then realized one of the horrible truths about Morrowind, especially after some talking. Slavery. Morrowind, the country, still allowed slavery. The rest of the Empire had banned it, but it was still legal here. But she was here, and could unlock the slaves' bracers, one by one. It was unusual for Monika to see the lizards and cats. But she figured she'd get used to it.

After all the slaves were freed, she went deeper, finding a mage. She rushed forwards to attack, who sent a fireball her way, which hurt A LOT. Worse yet, she could see that her health was quite low now. She made a few feeble attempts to attack, only for another fireball to hit her, and finish her off.

Fuck, she thought. I'm dead! Wait...I can't be FULLY dead. I can still think. More than that, in her minds eye, she thought she saw a message box, asking if she wanted to reload her last save. Yes! She thought, and felt her body, and the world, vanish as loading screens filled her vision. Soon enough, she was back, standing outside the cave.

Well that was jarring. Her first taste of death was behind her. But her gut told her it wouldn't be the last. And not just in this game, but any others she chose to explore. She had a sense that she and the virtual Grim Reaper would become the best of friends, except for the fact she'd reload all her saves. Alright, let's try this again.

This time, after the first bandit was dead, and the slaves freed, she saved again prior to dealing with said mage. This time, she felt ready.

Or not, as he killed her again. If she knew how to cheat, she'd want to do so now. It took her a few tries, but he eventually went down. "Finally," she said as she saved, once again. "Stay dead you bastard."

But she got no time to relax, as she felt something hit her leg, and realized in a side room there was a lady throwing things at her. As she got closer, she realized the lady was pelting her with shurikens. She quickly ran, and dealt with her, before stopping to pull some of the shurikens, or as the game described them, throwing stars out of her, hissing with pain. "Fuck that hurts," she says, as she looks around the room. Nothing major of interest, except a mysterious powder the game called moon sugar, and a few bottles the game called skooma. "Huh. I wonder why the game thinks these are so valuable," she said out loud as she tried one of each.

They were sweet, which she expected, but what she didn't was how she felt good. Surprisingly good. Like nothing mattered anymore, like her life, her existance, weren't full of pain, but was happy. Giggly. Like all that mattered was the high she was experiencing. But it eventually wore off, and as she looked at them, she realized what they were, really.

"So, Morrowind has slavery, AND drugs," she muses as she walks out of the cave. "I bet there's regular old fashioned booze too." On one hand, she felt she was a bit young to drink. But on the other hand...age meant nothing. She was virtual, so were the drinks. Age could be whatever she wanted. So why not?

The sun was starting to set, as she left the cave. It was a pretty sunset, she had to admit. And she could somehow tell it was enhanced, by a graphics enhancer that the User had downloaded. "Well, soon enough, Fargoth'll sneak around," she said out loud, as she headed for the lighthouse and up the steps. Though there was another surprise too, mainly in the form of a loud growl from her stomach. "Huh, so I still feel human needs," she remarked as she sat on the edge of the lighthouse, looking out over Seyda Neen. "Virtual girl, but with real needs," she says as she swung her legs over the side, letting them hang there.

She then had to wonder what OTHER needs she'd have. Thirst she was already starting to feel, but she considered that a given, because of hunger. She was also sure that exhaustion would happen too, which made her wonder about a bed. But she wondered about other things too. Would she need to bathe? And if so...her hair would likely be an issue there, though she had a gut feeling she'd have to suck it up and deal with it. But then another thought came to her. One that was unique, to her being a girl. Will...THAT, still happen every month? And it's not exactly like this game had anything to deal with that. But then again...she hadn't FULLY seen her entire body. Sure, she knew how she looked above the neck. But not really below it, save her hands.

But that would have to wait. She could see Fargoth sneaking around, torch in hand. "Idiot," she comments out loud. Still, there was a thrill to being up here, spying on him. Though she thought the thrill wasn't just the spying. It was enhanced by having her legs over the side, hanging out over open space. She even thought that if she jumped onto the roof of the shack nearby, she'd survive. It'd hurt, but she could do it. Heh, I think I understand something now. Guys have an obsession with wanting to pee off of tall things. I probably would too, if I were a guy. Then again...I'm sure I'd get arrested here.

She then noticed Fargoth walking away from a tree stump, and went to investigate. She slipped off the step she was sitting on, landing on the roof nearby. As she thought, it hurt, but not that much, as she went over to the stump. It had some money, quite a bit, though she figured she'd be good and pay up what the man wanted. There were also a few lockpicks, but best of all, the engraved ring of healing, which she slipped back onto her finger. "Ok, now let's see here," she says as she casts the spell. Sure, she had used it before, but now she was hurt, and would actually benefit. The feeling was strange. The pain dulled, yet she still felt as if her skin was knitting itself back together. A few casts later and she was healed quite a bit, though the ring was out of juice.

Returning some of the money from Fargoth's hiding place, she considered renting a room. But decided against it, thinking she should push herself, maybe spend a night awake to push her body to its limits. After all, this kind of thing was likely to happen, further down the line. And who knows how it'd be if she explored other games. So she set off, northwards, exploring the swamps of the Bitter Coast, fighting off the odd rat, mudcrab, and the strange eye slug like creatures the game called Kwama Foragers. She did collect the meat from the crabs though, thinking that at some point she should try to make a fire to cook it with. But what really grabbed her attention was a noise from above.

She looked up to find a wood elf fall from the sky, dying with a sickening crunch as he hit the ground. The journal next to him revealed his name to be Tarhiel, conducting some experiments. The results of which were on his body, 3 Scrolls of Icarian Flight. Each fortifying acrobatics by 1000 points for 7 seconds each. "Wow, I don't even want to THINK about these," Monika says as she puts them in her inventory.

In a hidden away spot was a body. One that when searched, had money on it, as well as a document that when read, proved to be tax records. "Huh, interesting," she says, but then heard a writing sound, and noticed that her journal was updated. "Wow, this is a quest huh? Ok Mr...Processus Vitellus, let's go investigate who killed you."

It took some running around Seyda Neen. Including talking to Socucius Ergalla again, as well as the lighthouse keeper. But she had found the man responsible. She did feel bad for killing a guy who wanted to get back at a tax man flaunting wealth. But on the other hand, she needed the money, and didn't know how to cheat it up yet. Plus, it meant more combat, which she had noticed was raising her skills, which was always a plus. And handing over that ring meant health potions, which were always a fantasy game staple.

By now, it was late, and she was EXHAUSTED. She was contemplating staying in Foryn Gilnith's house, the murderer. But his body was still there, and she didn't want to sleep next to a dead guy. In her exhaustion, she opened the menu, just to think for a bit while things were paused. But then she remembered something. That Ravenloft Amulet. Or rather, as it appeared, the =Ravenloft Amulet=, complete with the equal signs. She didn't know WHY it seemed important right now. But she put it on anyway.

At first nothing happened, until she noticed a button in the center. With a yawn, she pushed it, only to feel the world change around her. Now she was in a fancy room, elaborately painted and detailed, and off to her right, was a bedroom, with comfortable looking bed. At this rate, she didn't care anymore. Her iron saber clanged to the ground, followed by her shield. One quick menu access later stripped the iron cuirass off of her, as she climbed into the bed, and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

She woke up, feeling refreshed. VERY refreshed, as if all her wounds were gone, and all her fatigue had regenerated too. She sat up in the bed, reading the note by the side that explained that this place was Ravenloft, and she could consider it her home, and what she held the deed. What grabbed her attention was the mention of secrets, and a page to help find said secrets. And that was on top of the regular rooms like a Mage's Lab, Library, Thief's Den, Teleportation Chamber and more. She started by exploring the room she was in, which had quite the amount of storage, a few mannequins, and she had even noticed some of the rugs, when she touched them the right way, led down to a panic room. It had a stone that teleported her back to the Quarters, as well as a series of buttons. Buttons that the Quarters had too, leading to many of the rooms of Ravenloft. And she hadn't even left the Quarters yet.

Further examination yielded more. The Mage's Lab had a strange floating skull, that offered enchanting and spellmaking services. Services she figured she'd use in the future. It also sold some spells, purposefully made for training, all 1 gold to buy apiece, and with no magicka cost. So she bought them all, starting to practice as she explored. It was frustrating, when she'd cast a spell, but it failed. But she did it anyway, as she knew it was her best way of grinding those magic skills she had picked.

The Thief's Den wasn't much pleasing to her, but she HAD noticed the hidden paper, that when read pointed out the secrets. She had found the panic room. But what now interested her was the Hall of Tranquility. One button push sent her back to the quarters, and as she touched the painting over the lone chest, she was suddenly in the hall. It was quite nice, with a few instruments, plants, small fountain, even a chessboard. One that worked, to her surprise. Complete with an enemy AI. It was quite a marvel to her. And my guess? The scripting language for this game wasn't exactly set up with such a thing in mind. Making a chess AI? Modder, out there, pat yourself on the back.

There was more too. Summoning Chamber, Closets, display rooms, the list went on and on. Even some practice rooms for some of the offensive sides of combat.

But what had fully grabbed her attention was a large pool room. Well, not large, but it was big enough she could swim a decent amount. Even dive a little, from what she could see. It even had tame fish. "You know what? Why not," she says, as she strips what remains of her clothes off, and jumps in. The water was nice, a temperature that was warm enough she didn't get goosebumps, yet it didn't feel like bathwater warm. Somewhere in the 80's, she believed. 80's Fahrenheit, though she didn't know the metric conversion. Though she had noticed on that front that all the item weights were measured in kilograms. Something to get used to, she thought as she swam about.

She even dove underwater a bit, enjoying the water's feel. She swam over to a step, sitting down in the water. Then she had the idea to look down, since she was able to fully see her body now. It was all there, as she had expected. She even used her hands to check as well. Her breasts were there, the same size as she was used to, C's she believed. Her stomach was nice and toned, and it made her wonder if her adventures would give her a six pack. Hey, that'd be neat. Her thighs were nice and slender, but didn't respond when squeezed, instead seeming to show some muscle behind them. And she even...ran a hand between her legs. Yep, from what she could feel, her lady parts were definitely there, without so much as one hair either. And touching them felt GREAT. So good she lost herself in it, for a bit, unable to stop herself touching. She kept exploring her own body with her other hand, while the one occupied between her legs kept busy, as she leaned back on the step in the water. Wild fantasies ran through her mind, as her hand was busy. She hadn't done much of this in her own game, but now...now it was like breaking a spell. She could barely think of anything else, but the pleasure building between her legs, the pulse down there, the burning heat.

Soon enough, with a loud cry, she came, legs shaking as she did so, releasing her juices into the water, and she sat up, panting. Oh she had needed that, as she smirked to herself. "Oh yeah. I WILL find a boyfriend here," she said out loud with a sly smirk. She didn't care to who, or the exact circumstances, (so long as she was fully willing in the moment), but when she left this game, her virginity was staying here. Though a thought did occur to her. What if...what if the User was male? And therefore, what if a lot of the mods present would give her girls instead? "Well...if there's girls with interest in me...I'll find a way to adjust." She smirked to herself, as she got up from the water, wringing out her hair.

Which brought her to a conundrum. Sure, she sort of felt cleaner, after that dip. But water alone didn't clean up dirt. She explored the pool area further, not bothering to put her clothes back on. Tucked in a corner was a small bathroom. There was a waterfall, leading to a floor basin, and nearby was even some bottles, washcloths, and towels. There was even a sink as well. Stepping into the shower, she was surprised to find a knob, that actually adjusted the temperature. The bottles once uncorked proved to be shampoo, conditioner, and even body wash, all with nice floral scents. It felt so good to have a proper shower.

Once she stepped out, she grabbed some towels, wrapping one around herself, and the other she put her hair into. The sink had fantastical versions of things she was used to. A primitive toothbrush, a strange toothpaste, and more. All of which she was glad she could use.

Now she wandered around further, discovering she was already dry, body and hair. Awesome towels, she thought as she hung them back up. Lacking clean clothes, she opted to continue exploration of Ravenloft in the nude. It wasn't a bad feeling, she had to admit. And there was plenty of carpet, and/or the non-carpeted floors were warm enough on the feet. But now, the age old problem, of her stomach.

Further exploration from Ravenloft's Main Hall yielded a kitchen and dining room, with the former being stocked with everything that seemed to be local fare. She wasn't quite sure what a "kwama" was, but here were some eggs she decided to try and scramble up, throwing on an apron. As well as some bread, though she lacked a toaster, though figured she could pan toast it. What was also a regret was the lack of bacon. Or juice. "Don't they have pigs here? Or fruit?" She asked out loud, finding a pan to cook the eggs. "Damned fantasy world!" She said angrily, thinking really hard about some bacon and some orange juice as she slammed her hand against the counter.

The world seemed to pause, as if it glitched, and when it unpaused, she realized the kitchen had an addition. An old fashioned ice box, and inside, one bottle of what turned out to be orange juice, as well as some uncooked bacon, wrapped in paper. It was odd, her ability to somehow "glitch" the game. But she figured she'd worry about that later, as she cooked herself breakfast. She may be a collection of 1's and 0's, electrical impulses on a computer. But those 2 digits were combining in ways to tell her she was hungry. So she'd play along with those, for now.

Breakfast was quick, and filling. She put her dishes in the sink, unwilling to clean them right now. She was curious about her "glitch" power, but was also worred about overuse, in case it made the game crash or something. But then, she could sense the game was so heavily modded that the original game was barely there anymore, buried beneath all the extra quests, lands, and more. She wondered if it'd make a difference.

She went back to the Quarters, to try something. She had just the right idea of how to test her ability. After all, all the clothes she had worn were dirty. And true, in reality that probably wouldn't happen, and she could wear the same clothes day in and day out, with no ill effects. But she would rather not do that, if she could help it. So she was going to try and summon some clothes. But what? I still don't know what all slots I have. I can wear a cuirass over a shirt, but what else? But then it hit her. Her default schoolgirl outfit. She might not keep all the parts on. But it'd be a good place to start. Though she realized she had to include underwear with it too. Let's start there.

She thought simply, tan bra and panties, concentrating on them really hard. Nothing happened. No matter how hard she thought about them. "Oh come ON!" She said, slamming her hand against a dresser. Just then, the game glitched it seemed, and now she had said underwear on. "Wait...is that the secret? Think of what I want, then hit something? Well, if those are the rules," she says with a laugh. "Now the rest of it," she says out loud, picturing herself in the outfit, as she slams the dresser again.

Just as predicted, now her old outfit was back on her, shirt, tie, stockings, jacket and all. "Though quite impractical," she said undoing the tie. As she sat on the bed, her fingers twitched, and then she realized she accidentally opened the console. But the surprising thing was it wasn't empty. It was quite full. "player- additem ddlc_monika_jacket 1" one of the entries said, among other such things. "Woah...is this how things work? I should try it. What'd be the best way...oh! I have an idea," she says, and thinks of a keyboard, beneath the console window. One magically appeared, just as she was getting ready to slam her fist down.

"Ok, so...player, that has to be me," she thought as she typed it in. "The arrow...odd, but I'll work with it. Additem is easy enough. The middle part...that has to be the item name. Or at least, the code name. Interesting format. And that 1...wait, quantity?" She asked. "But what could I try?"

"Money," she thought upon. "But what's the code?" And so she tried it. "Player- additem gold 1" didn't work. But she remembered how in the cave, there had been stacks of gold, in multiple units, and not just loose coins. "Gold1? Gold_1? Gold 01?" She tried, getting frustrated. "Oh fuck it, gold_001, why not?" She tried, and for once it didn't return an error, but turned blue, and she checked her inventory, noticing how she was one gold richer. "AHA! You can't get away from me, game!" She said triumphantly. But for now, she didn't want to abuse things. She wanted to at least try to experience Morrowind "as is." She had learned a lot, about how the game worked, both as a world she lived in, AND as a game. Such was her thought as she geared up, to get ready to get back into things.
