Rebekah stared impatiently as Klaus deliberately opened up one of their brothers' coffins slowly. She leaned in from behind him to see who it was. To her surprise it was Finn.
"Why did you choose Finn first?" her confusion was getting stronger.
"Because Finn was daggered for a long time, so it will take a lot of time for him to wake up. So if I remove his dagger before Elijah's or Kol's, he can wake with them." her brother explained.
They waited for another fifteen minutes before Klaus pulled out Kol's dagger and she pulled out Elijah's. She watched as their skin turned normal from grey.
Klaus turned towards her, "So now what? We wait?"
"Get a witch. I've got a vampire to locate."
Turns out, locating Sage only took minutes.
Rebekah walked into the coffee shop that Sage had been since the morning. She ordered a black coffee, and after getting her order, she slid into Sage's booth.
The redhead's eyes we're red rimmed and her hair was disheveled. Clearly, she had been crying over Finn. Rebekah felt sorry for her, but put her feelings aside, they weren't going to help her save her family.
When Sage saw her, she straightened up, "Rebekah." she greeted her blonde.
"Hello Sage." she responded softly, smirking.
Sage sighed, "You and I both know you're not here for small talk. What do you want from me, Rebekah Mikaelson?" she asked.
Rebekah chuckled, impressed by her guts, "I expected nothing less from you, Sage. But I'm not here for something from you. I'm here to inform you that Finn will be awake soon. And my guess is that he will want you there to catch up with you." she finished.
Sage gaped at her, "Is this a joke that you're playing on me? Cause I know that Klaus would never release Finn from his 9 centuries sleep." she accused the original.
"What he did was for Finn's safety. Now that Mikael is dead, we can finally reunite our family. And no, this is not a joke. Even I am not that cold." Rebekah replied with a warning in her voice.
Sage heard the warning and nodded, not eager to anger an original, "Well then, what are we waiting for?" Sage tried to make herself look more appropriate, "Let's go." and with that, they walked out of the shop.
Sage took a deep breath before she reached out for the bell with her hand. But before she had a chance to press the button, Klaus opened the door, looking solemn.
He looked like he had just come out of the warzone. His shirt was half-ripped, and he was covered in blood. Most likely, Elijah, Kol and Finn had banded together against him and made the manor a battle place.
"I'm guessing you just came out of a battlefield that is your home?" Sage guessed sarcastically.
"Yup. You guessed right. Thankfully, I subdued them before they did a lot of damage to the mansion." Kalus sighed in relief.
"Niklaus, who is at the door?" Elijah's voice came from behind Klaus.
"Yes, Nik. Is it a blood bag?" Kol alson appeared beside Elijah.
"Do we look like bloody humans to you, Kol?" Rebekah snapped at him, even though all she wanted to do was hug him and apologize.
"Rebekah! There you are. I was afraid you were still daggered." Finn said as smiled, not noticing the woman beside her.
"Finn?" Sage whispered in shock.
"Sage? Is that really you?" Finn murmured in shock.
Sage ran upto him and kissed him like he was the only thing that mattered. Rebekah cooed as Kol made fake gagging sounds. Elijah smiled at the sight of Finn looking so happy as the couple broke apart, resting their foreheads against each other's.
"Get a room." Klaus teased them.
Rebekah smacked him harshly on the arm, making him whine like a baby. Finn rolled his eyes at his younger brother's comment.
"Well, brother, I would have thought you would wait for at least another century before you undaggered me." Elijah stated, raising an eyebrow at Klaus.
"That is for Rebekah to explain." Klaus gestured to her.
"First of all, Finn and Elijah should take a haircut. Then we have to burn a bridge. After that, we should talk." Rebekah offered.
An hour later, the Mikaelsons stood, watching the white oak bridge and sign burning.
"So, can we get an explanation?" Kol asked impatiently while pouting.
"Let's go home. You'll get your explanation soon." Rebekah answered him with a look.
And with that they sped back to their home. As soon as they entered the manor, two witches came out with a coffin.
"Ms Mikaelson. Mr Mikaelsons. Miss Sage." they greeted the family, before keeping the coffin on the ground and walked away.
Rebekah opened the coffin and was pleased to see their sister, Freya, in it.
'Wake up!' she screamed in her mind.
The witch slowly opened her eyes and gasped to see her siblings all around her and her younger sister smiling at her. She looked around and saw that she was no more in the asylum. She stood up and stepped out of the coffin.
"Hello Freya." Rebekah greeted.
Finn gasped and stumbled back a bit. The others looked at him questioningly, but he ignored them and looked at the girl in the coffin in disbelief.
"That's not possible! Freya is dead! She died a long time ago!" he said unbelievingly.
"I remember we used to climb the trees in the village so mother couldn't hear her Huggin and Munnin whispering and planning." Freya said as a tear fell down her cheek.
"Freya?" Finn asked before he hugged her tightly.
Freya hugged her brother back. He released her but wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She looked around to see Elijah, Klaus, Kol and an unknown woman looking at her with questioning and distrustful gazes.
"Hey, aren't you that girl that I took to the ball in New Orleans!" Kol exclaimed remembering her.
"Hello Kol, Klaus, Elijah." Freya smiled softly.
"Brothers, Sage, this is Freya. Our dead sister. She was taken by our maternal aunt Dahlia for a deal that Esther made with her. She has been searching for us for a thousand years. Freya, these are our brothers and this is Sage, Finn's girlfriend." Rebekah turned to Freya.
"How do you know this?" Freya asked.
"Everything will be explained soon." Rebekah said mysteriously.
Rebekah walked into the kitchen and grabbed popcorn, wine and other snacks. Meanwhile Finn sat with Freya and introduced her properly to their family. At first, they were all suspicious of her, but after they saw how Finn acted with her, they started to relax around her. Rebekah came out with all the food and beverages.
"Well, this is going to be interesting and a very long story. So grab a seat and take some snacks." Rebekah murmured as she sat beside Klaus.
"Well. I-I'm from the future."
A/N:
Sorry about the short chapter. I don't have a lot of time on my hands since my mother is getting divorced from my abusive father.
