It was a normal Sunday in the Mikaelson manor. Well, as normal as you can get.

In the living room, sat the entire family.

"But how did she get to Freya so soon?" Finn exclaimed, hitting the wall in frustration.

Rebekah murmured, "Oh my god!" As she put her hand on her head.

Even Freya looked a bit exasperated at Finn's overprotectiveness. He had been at this for an entire day.

Klaus sighed, "Calm down Finn. It's not important how she found us. What's important is that she found us." He looked at Freya and was about to continue when Kol interrupted him.

"See Finn? Klaus is saying that Freya's safety isn't important." The brunette said mischievously.

Freya glared at her little brother, "Seriously Kol? Shut up!" She hissed.

Suddenly, they heard the bell ringing.

"I'll see who it is," Kol said, not wanting to get another lecture.

He opened the door to find Liz Forbes standing outside impatiently. He smiled invitingly at her, even though he knew that she wouldn't fall for his charms.

"Chief Forbes! What are you doing here?" He said opening the door for her to come in.

He usually wasn't so inviting, but the Chief had agreed to look away from their extra… activities in exchange that they don't kill the civilians and her daughter.

She entered before she turned and looked at him, "I have a few questions that the entire family needs to answer." She said seriously.

He turned somber the second he heard the word 'questions'. Did one of the others go on a massacre? Because that was going to cause a lot of problems.

"Of course." He stated and led her to his family, "They all are right here." He entered the room.

Rebekah looked like she wanted to murder someone, but that expression changed into an unreadable look as soon as she saw the blonde vampire's (who she had nicknamed 'Caroleech') mother.

"Chief Forbes, is there anything we can help you with?" Elijah asked, getting up.

"Actually, there is." The blonde officer looked around, "There was an explosion at Young Farm that killed 12 council members. Do you have anything to do with it?" She asked.

Elijah looked at his siblings who shook their heads in denial.

"No. But do let us know if we can help." Elijah said, escorting her out.

Rebekah raised an eyebrow, "Well, it seems like Silas is up to his tricks. Now, all we have to do is kill Dahlia before raising Silas."

Kol hummed as Sage spoke up, "I actually have another way to kill your aunt…"

Damon sighed as he entered the living room. Lexi was dancing in her new body as Stefan laughed, laying on the couch, a bottle of bourbon in his hand.

Stefan raised the bottle towards him, "Damon! Help me celebrate my best friend's resurrection." He said.

Damon switched the music off.

"You remember Lexi, of course." He pointed at the blonde-now turned-brunette.

Damon rolled his eyes, "Duh, Poirot." He grimaced at the brunette with blue eyes vampire that housed Lexi, "Back from the dead. Goodie."

Lexi narrowed her eyes, "Keep one thing in mind, buzzkill." Oh great, a new nickname for him, "Whatever time I have left till I die again, I sure as hell won't waste it on you."

"Oh please! As if I even want you to give time to me!" He scoffed.

Damon walked towards his brother, "There was an explosion at Young Farm. 12 members of the council are dead."

"Shouldn't that be a good thing for you?" The blonde questioned.

"Liz suspects supernatural work at play." He explained, "And here you two are, having Dance Party USA." He said sarcastically.

Stefan extended his bottle, "You're right." And that was when Damon knew that he was going to get sassed by his little brother.

Stefan continued, "How selfish of me to be indulging in these precious moments with my formerly dead best friend." He gave his drink to Lexi.

"I should be sacrificing my own happiness for the good of others, right? I should be upstairs grooming my hero hair." Stefan said sarcastically.

Damon grabbed his bourbon bottle from Lexi, "Are you drunk?" He questioned Stefan.

"I don't know mom, am I?"

Lexi chuckled at that and he glared at her, offended.

Damon just sighed, raising his hands up, "Alright, alright. I give up." Before he took a sip of his bourbon.

"Well, what do you make of this suspected supernatural explosion?"

Tyler groaned as he sat on his couch. His bodyguards from Klaus followed him everywhere! It was quite irritating if he was honest. He took a baseball and started tossing it, a bored look on his face. That was when he heard it.

Footsteps.

"So this is where you've been hiding, huh?" A familiar voice came from behind him.

He looked back to see a brunette in a jacket standing at the door. He recognized her from the Appalachian pack. The one who helped him break the sire bond.

Only one word came out, "Hayley?"

Damon grunted as he opened the hunter's van's door. He smirked. It was so easy, use Jeremy to distract him and then search his van.

He stepped on the van's step cautiously, waiting for something to happen. But nothing did. Then he entered the vehicle and right away saw the werewolf venom that Tyler had given without his consent.

"Concentrate on the job." He muttered to himself.

He looked around, searching for anything that would give him a clue about why Connor Jordan specifically picked MF to hunt vampires.

'I mean, he could've also gone to NYC! Plenty of vampires there.' And he knew that from experience.

That was when he saw the letter. And on the cover was written, 'to April. From your father.'

He chuckled, "Bingo." He said and went to pick it up.

That was when two arrows came flying and embedded themselves into his leg and shoulder respectively.

He tugged on the arrow and then he saw the bomb connected to it.

He hated vampire hunters!
