Its 5pm and all schools are out but clubs are in full swing, so I decided to go and watch one of my boys without them knowing. I don't know how he will take me being here since he is a little unpredictable. I've been around the school all afternoon, I just wanted to see how he is doing, I tried not to be seen but I think he caught sight of me a few times because I kept hearing a yell of ghost a few times today. I stole a uniform to lend it during the day, which is easy in a school this big, the younger years thought I must have been older, and the older years thought I was younger who just kept to myself.

"You are not looking for ghosts, we have practice." I could hear a group of boys walking towards me, I hid around the corner waiting for them to pass. I could hear their laughter pass me by, so I stick my head around the corner, thinking it was safe but that was my mistake. I peeked around the corner to see a group pf boys heading for the gym but there was one guy that who was actually being dragged backwards and he had just turned his head back around from yelling at his team mates and start pouting when our eyes meet. We froze, he stopped walking causing him to fall on his ass from being dragged. His owl like eyes wider than I thought possible, I wanted to go to him but I can't, not here, eyes dull and cold, I still remember his face, posture stiff and rigid, I see his eye dull as he picked himself up, I see his eyes as he looks at the car as he watches the messenger gets in, he shakes his head and is once again childish as I pull myself back to hide behind the wall and he enters the gym. I never saw the look in his eyes when he glanced back to see if I was there.

I realised I couldn't go into the gym; it wouldn't be fair, nor would it be right. I walked back to the gate and leaned against my bike I parked across the road. I decided to hold my helmet and don my leather jacket and riding boots then I just waited. As night fell, I tilted my head back and to look up at the stars, oh this brings back memories. Nights spent with the pack when we pulled up to rest for a night were like this, clear skies with great view of the stars. The nights I would meet Tendo in the park after an awful day at school. Chasing down leads and tracking through the forest. Camp nights with Bokuto, sitting around a fire eating to many marshmallows. I close my eyes and fell into my memories with a small smile in my face. At the last memory I get nervous and wring my fingers together, god I don't know how this will go. I am glad I have parked across the road; it leaves me in plain view of the gate and still leaves him with a decision of if he wants to talk to me or leave.

Just as the thought crosses my mind, I hear voices coming in my direction. I don't drop my head and keep looking up at the stars and let my hair wave in the breeze. I cross my arms over my chest and pull one foot off the ground, relaxing onto my bike. All noise seems to cease all of a sudden…then a yell of "GHOST-SAN", fast heavy foot falls and then I am blinded by big golden eyes and white hair that isn't mine as someone leans over me to look in my face.

"Bokuto-san don't run at people like that." He was pulled back from my face to reveal a dark-haired boy beside him. "you can scare people," he turns to me "I'm terribly sorry about him…..." he fades out as Bokuto and I stare at each other, his eyes wide with disbelief, of course it would be like seeing a ghost for him. I am surprised he is still here. I open my mouth to say something, but I don't get a word out when I feel my cheek being poked. I hear his friend sigh, "I am real Koutarou." I don't finish before he runs off at a full sprint, his friends yell for him. I sigh and swallow the lump that appeared in my throat.

"Well I expected that, it went better than expected actually." I shake my head and swing my leg over my bike as I hold out a piece of paper to the boy. "Just in case you need me but please, go after him and make sure he's okay." The boy next to me jumps and takes the piece of paper before taking off. I guess I'm a mystery for another day. I watch the boy chase after my friend, I smile as a single tear falls from my eye before I slip my helmet on and drive off. I never noticed one of the boys watching me as my tears fell and I drove away, and I didn't see the look he threw in the direction Bokuto ran off.

I got home by 2000 hours and decided to see if my gamer buddy was online. I needed to tell him a few things. I needed to let him know I was back because I really didn't want him to be shocked when he sees my face at school. He doesn't know who I am, well he's not supposed to, but I know who he is, I've always known and hopefully everything we've talked about is true and he won't hate me. I have been able to explain everything to him over the years after I protected our chats, all thanks to the combined efforts of Itona and Ritsu. See no one was supposed to know about me at all but I couldn't leave him completely so I was told I could talk to one person and one person only as long if I could scramble everything and with Ritsu looking over everything, our chats pretty much do not exist so I was able to talk to my best gamer friend and explain what has been going on with my life. Now why him and not Tendo well I knew Tendo would be alright but him, my gamer buddy, well he was the only one that helped me keep my head on straight, you see I had a few issues with suicide growing up and after my parents died I couldn't let him go so my friends came to my rescue.

I walked through the house, making my way to the to the games room.

As I went, I pulled out my phone, special class 3-E edition. We kept the phones the government gave us and had Ritsu change the programming and overtake the tracking devices. I pulled up the game chat to find, yes, he was on. I smiled and set off a quick message hoping to get his attention. It wasn't long before I got a reply, I was a little shocked.

His next reply came through kind of fast, I was a little surprised. I read his message as I fired up the PS4 and flatscreen before getting comfortable in a beanbag

I laughed and smiled down at my phone. I hesitate but decide I would let him in on what I planned to do.

I don't get to reply before his account go dark.

I look up and at the screen and decide to just go to bed, I didn't want to think about what tomorrow will bring.

Late afternoon I decide to go and wait outside Fukurodani and see if he will talk to me today. It seems the last of the students were just leaving for the day and my arrival caused whispers started up the moment I took my helmet off causing more and more heads to turn in my direction. It didn't take long for a group to form and people to come and find out what was going which meant it wasn't long before I heard a scream and someone running away. I looked over to see a retreating form, it was his retreating form. I spot the boy from yesterday watching Bokuto run off, I smiled, realising he had people looking after him. I checked the time, 1600 hmm I might have enough time to get over and see Satori practice for a little bit if I am fast enough. I shake my head and speed off, pulling the bike up onto one wheel and hearing everyone gasps and some cheer, smiling I speed off to Shiratorizawa.

As usual I parked my bike out on the street as opposed to in the car park. I swing off as I pull off my helmet and place it on the seat, I unzip my jacket and go to cross the road when a ute towing a horse float pulls in the gate. Poor horse I hope it's okay.

I shake my head before continuing to the boys' volleyball gym hoping I could sneak in at least without Tendo seeing me but in true Tala fashion I didn't get that far as shouting caught my attention. I couldn't help my curiousness and followed my ears to a set of stables and exercise ring to find a 16 year old girl yelling at what looked like the school stable hands who were having trouble with getting her horse out of the trailer and into the ring. I watched, amused, as they obviously couldn't handle the beautiful beast of a horse. They only just managed to force her into the ring before he got away or hurt anyone, you could practically see the breath of relief that went around the group; I had to cover my laugh. My eyes went back to the beautiful black Andalusian stallion now making agitated circles around the ring, he was so gorgeous I had to stop myself from moving until I notice everyone move into the stalls.

I watched his muscles ripple as he moved, his head tossing in his agitation and his hooves stomping after he rears. I soon find myself climbing the rails as I watch him; he's started to do half circles because of my presents. I could only gape in wonder, the last rays of the afternoon sun reflected of his coat. He reminded me of an old friend, god I wish Oni was still here; poor bugger died saving my ass. He was brave and stubborn but also a big teddy bear and a suck up for ear scratches even with his attitude. I did get to stick around for much longer because during my reminiscing the stable hands and owners have come back towards the ring. "Welp I better run she seemed like she would be a pain in the ass if she found me near her horse."

I swing my legs around and jump down, putting my hands in my jean pockets I start to walk away calmly, head held high. I kept an ear out to see if the notice me, but I didn't even get around the corner to head to the gym before furious yelling started up.

"GET HIM INSDIE!"

"HE WAS CALM JUST BEFORE"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? DON'T LET HIM GO"

I didn't think much of it, so I just kept walking. I knew they would have trouble with him seeing how they couldn't do much when it came to get him out of the trailer.

"WATCH OUT!"

A loud crash and a terror filled scream followed from behind me made me tilt my head to see over my shoulder. The horse had reared up to kick the gate out causing the handler to lose the rope.

"GET HIM UNDER CONTROL BEFORE HE GETS LOOSE"

They had too much going on in front of them to notice me so I booked it the last 300m to the corner of the building to watch, I wanted to make sure the horse wasn't hurt but it wasn't long before he had kicked out the gate and everyone tried to block him in but he just made a break to the open space between them and the trailer. The stable hands tried to keep him in the area and herd him into the stables at least (idiots he could hurt other horses) which had that beautiful stallion rearing up and aggressively trying to find a way out. It happened like slow motion as one guy with his back to me trip over his feet as the horse landed from rearing at the girl. He noticed the gap and jumped before speeding off, I took a second before; "GET A HORSE AND CHASE HIM" everyone was spurred into action. I had to stop laughing quickly as the pounding of hooves was getting louder and louder, I look up and there he is, running full tilt in my direction, with wide eye I take off to a bigger area hoping to have room to move.

I hooked right to the open area at the entrance since it's not far and this stallion is still heading in this direction. I slowed down and watched him get closer and closer, hooves thundering, agitated snorting. I pulled to a stop and he was upon me, rearing into the air, stomping his hooves, pawing at the ground and looking at straight at me. I don't move back, I don't look away, I stand solid. He was starting to lose steam as more hooves are heard, I breath out an annoyed breath but stay focused on this handsome stallion in front of me as I can see he has noticed them as well with the way his ears flick back and his aggressive moves start to get grow in frequency. I back off a bit for safety because I feel like they will do something stupid and I was so right. A short stocky stable hand tries to rope him but misses him completely and the rope hits his flank, I sigh, he rears up….

"TALA WATCH OUT!"

My head snaps around to see Tendo running in towards me, eyes wide with panic as he watches this horse angry and lashing out. I hold my hand out as if to tell him to stop but he doesn't, he keeps moving fast towards me. I can't stop him and before I can move, I see black beside me and the look on Tendo's face goes from worry for me and terror for himself as he falls back to not end up squashed under raw power.

I move without thinking and give him a quick shove forcing him to roll over his head.

"hooo hooo boy come on buddy hooo" I try to get him to calm a little. His ears and tail flicker back and forth and stomps and paws but take a step back.

"That was dangerous," I hold my hand out "you are an idiot" I pull him up without fully turning my back to the horse. I really need to find out his name

Satori doesn't say anything from behind me as I watch this powerful, strong animal make little jumps, snort and throw his head around. I have zoned everyone else out. I keep myself calm and watch him. His eyes, there is a spark that just tells you how smart he is, I can see it as he watches me and keeps track of the two stable hands behind him. I take a step forward and he doesn't move. I keep my voice low and calm like there are no problems here. "hey boy how are you doing" I see his ear turn towards me as I speak, "what's got you so riled today? Hey, was it that really bad drive here?"

As I speak, I walk a little closer one slow step at a time, watching him the whole time for any ques to back off. I stop leaving space for him to come closer on his own, the final choice would be his. The stupid stable hand almost ruins it completely, the loud idiot. He jumps off his horse and try to clip a lead to the halter but the horse rears once again. I pull us both back and snatch the lead.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Marching up to an aggressive animal like it's a kitten. You're an idiot." I snap a little irritated, but it must have come across harsher since he's white as a sheet. I take a deep breath and go to turn back just to feel something touch my head. I turn slowly to find this horse nudging my head. I raise my hand slowly to his muzzle; he jerks his head, but I don't move and let him come back to me on his own terms. I slowly raise up the lead for him to check out. "Hey buddy I just need to attach this so we can lead you to somewhere to sleep okay." I move slowly and calmly to attach it with no problem. I give him a good scratch under his jaw before moving to the stable hand on the horse. The stable hand grabs the lead rope, stunned and takes him back to the stables with a lot of effort. I watch them go. I was so lost in thought that Satori was able to grab my arm and drag me off. I stumble after him, bloody tall people and their long legs.

" Hey, hey Satori slow down, wait- "I bump into his back as he comes to an abrupt stop. I froze, I could feel his shoulders shaking. I didn't get to say anything before he swung around and grabbed my shoulders, his face held terror and he was white as a sheet which was a little weird with his bright red hair.

"hey, it's okay everything-" He cut me off, shadows falling over his face.

"NO, NO ITS NOT" he took a deep breath "I saw a horse out of control, you standing there and that thing rears right in front of you, you could have been hit and died, actually died." He was so earnest trying to make me understand, "I would have been left alone again." It didn't take me long to realise how everything was perceived by him. My hand went to my mouth, I was shocked at the realisation of how he saw it all happen. I reached out to him and pulled him into a hug. He held me tight his face in my hair, my hand in his.

"I am so sorry; I'll make sure to try and not scare you like that again." I heard a faint chuckle and a faint try, of course. I couldn't help but giggle and knew just the thing to get him to smile. I smile before starting to sing

"Baki Baki ni ore, nani wo" I pause and wait to see if he will continue

"Kokoro wo dai yo" it was faint, but I heard it, I smiled and continued

"Konagona ni kudake," I didn't have to wait for him to continue

"Nani wo?" he said it louder and started to pull back.

"Seishin wo da yo" we sang the last line together

We seemed to have completely forgotten he was supposed to be at practice as we danced and sang our little song, laughing and forgetting the recent panic. "Baki BAKI" I screeched and jump up on to Tendo's shoulders when one of his teammates came screaming his name as he came around the corner.

"TENDO so this is what you've been doing, meeting up with some girl."

Following his scream, the more of the team came around the corner to find us standing there, all a little awkward. I placed my elbows on my knees and my hand folded together under my head in Tendo's fluffy red hair. The both of us giving out large smiles that creeped everyone out by the looks on their faces. I giggled so hard I had to move my hands to bury my face in this fluffy hair, seriously how does he keep it so fluffy, causing some of my hair to fall over his face.

"OOOH Tendou your meeting some girl? well I shouldn't have kept you." I sit up and pull his head back to look at me as I squint my eyes and tilt my head. He looks back at me exactly the same with his dark little smile.

"oh god there is two of them" I don't know who said it but of our grins got wider, que groans. I couldn't help myself I fell into a fit of giggles. "Now now Tori Chan why don't you introduce me to your team?" I got a pinch to the inside of my leg for that. "nope I'm going to keep you to myself" I shake my head and give him a fond smile; I can't blame him. "well in that case, sorry boys I need to steal your monster for a bit." I hear no complaints (though that may have been from some mouth being covered) and look to my favourite red head, "walk me out? I need to get going." He slings and arm over my shoulder, almost dragging me out the gate.

"I'll be by to see you again okay, but right now I need to head home, I have a troublesome owl to deal with tomorrow." I felt his are tighten on my shoulders before he hands me my helmet. I look up and cup his face, wiping away a stray tear. "I'm not leaving again; I'll always be here." He just nodded his head and stepped back, I swung my leg over my bike, stuffed on my helmet before driving off. I looked in the mirror and he hadn't left, watching me drive away.

This is day five if being home, I've gone to see Bokuto four times now and he never stays to talk, he won't go anywhere near me to the point that he ran away from a random guy with slightly long white hair. That brings me to today where I am once again out the front of Fukurodani Academy waiting, trying to spot the stupid owl head. I fell my phone vibrate before it started ringing. I pulled it out and picked it up, leaning back on my bike.

"Kaida speaking"

"Kaida Chan I know you are meant to be off duty, but I need a man at a pickup point, and no one will expect a teenager."

"Ah so nice to hear from you Karasuma sensei, I'm doing fine yourself?" I drawl out with a smirk on my face. My smirk widens as I hear his tired sigh, that man is amazing to deal with us all this time, "tell me the details. What, where, when?"

"I need you to head off now, you shouldn't be too far, but you can't be too late, we have someone tracking this down."

"I am going to assume Ritsu told you where I am, hang on a minute I need to swap you over to my helmet." I put my helmet on and sit on my bike, "alright let's go" I rev the bike and take off, listening to Mr K tell me everything I'll need to know.

During volleyball practise nothing was getting done as Bokuto was stuck in emo mode, flattened hair and all, bothering anyone who would listen and all around performing badly.

"Bokuto san what is wrong today?" a messy black-haired boy asked.

"She wasn't there Akaashi, she is gone." Bokuto Koutarou was practically crying for a girl he had barely even talked to. Akaashi sighed he couldn't believe this. "You haven't talked to her in three days." The coach had to call training early because of their temperamental childish ace. How could I fix this if he is still like that tomorrow, Akaashi gets caught up in his thoughts as he zips up his jacket, puts his bag on his shoulder and stuff his hands in his pockets. Weird, what's this? Akaashi pulls out a piece of paper. That's right that girl gave me her number, she thought I might need it.

Mr K seriously owes me for this, no one will expect a teenager my ass. I sat at the right table, ordered the right things, flirted with the right guy, ignored Isogi and got the bloody SD card with the bill and yet somehow someone still thought oh hey look at that random girl she could be the person we are after. As I said Mr K owes me big time.

Well I might be in near the city, but I know the perfect place to lose them, let's hope they don't know a single thing about how to work their way around the terrain. Weaving in and out of traffic I head towards the side of the mountain where I spent the best year of my life. With a deep breath I dial through to Ritsu, I must clear the mountain and fasts if anyone is up there.

"Tala how are-?" I don't let her finish before getting straight to the point, I'm not far away now.

"no time Ritsu I need you to do me a favour and clear the mountain if anyone is up there, I've got assholes on my tail and I need to lose them and where better than the place I know like the back of my hand, just like Korosensie taught us." I keep moving buy with shots fired at my tires I jump off my bike and roll into the woods, I take a second to watch the take smash into a tree causing it to burst into flames.

"TALA" I flinch hearing Nagisa yell in my ear.

"Nagisa? What the hell Ritsu?" I take off running up hill.

"He wanted to know why him, and Karma had to clear the mountain…...Is that gun shots?"

Shit, I climb the tree and start jumping through the leaves. "At least get into the building, shit "I get cut off, landing awkwardly into a roll. I can hear them, they aren't being quiet, it sounds like they are fumbling around. They aren't professionals, well not good ones anyway.

"Tala, what is going on?"-Nagisa

"Bite off more than you can handle again? Well you are an idiot."-Karma

I ignore them for a moment, "okay I'm 3ks from the pool and 5 from the nearest gun stash 1.5 from knives," I keep moving towards my goal, "and just around this rock formation should be…" I nock a rock out of the formation, "yes it's still here. My throwing knives." I pick them up and keep running towards the pool. I knew, even though I told them to stay out of it, that the both of them would be right there waiting when I arrived. I stopped to pick up my knives in their holsters, but only for me as I didn't want them to even be put in a situation where they might plunge on into someone.

"I told you guys to stay up the top, you shouldn't be involved."

Karma just smirked that annoying trademark smirk of his and Nagisa scratched the back of his head. "You know we wouldn't stay I mean we are class 3-E are we not?" Nagisa was not wrong and he knew it. "So, what is going on?"

"Mr K owes me a new bike is what's going on." I pout and sigh. Karma laughed nice and loud, to loud. It attracted the wrong kind of attention. I growled and threw a knife before dragging them back into the forest.

"I need to knock them out and drop them at my bike to make them believe they lost me. Then murder Karasuma." Karma and Nagisa turned really serious so fast. We might have been high schools' students and out of class 3-E for two years now, but we were still trained assassins. "I'm going to lead them into an open field, I'll be bait since they are after me after all, if you guys can jump down and knock them out it would be appreciated." They nodded and took off while it waited for them to get close enough to see me before taking off. I breathed and lead them towards the nearest clearing, keeping in view the whole time, when I got into place, I faked a fall and rolled over my feet and laid on my side facing away from the way I came from. I can hear them getting closer and closer, I can hear the boys breathing shallow out and I counted down.

10 leaves crunching

9 heavy breathing

8 7 twigs snapping

6 chuckling

5 trees creaking

4 3 birds flying

2 THUMP THUMP of flesh hitting flesh

1 Two bodies hit the ground, knocked out.

0 I sigh in relief

I roll over and patch in Karasuma while telling the boys to be quiet.

"Karasuma."

"You owe me a new bike old man, I'm in one piece and so is your prize but my bike is in flames." I admit I was a little put out I loved that bike. I hear a sigh of relief on the other end.

"I found your bike. I'm glad you're okay. Where can I meet you?"

"How about we go to class teach?" I hear him sigh just as I hear a voice on the other end of the phone. "Is that Professor Bitch?" I hear her yelling in the background something that sounds like 'I heard that' "but I'm not joking you owe me a bike; I loved that bike." My tone made me sound like a kid that lost its favourite toy. Me and the boys were walking back to the classroom and they just couldn't stay silent any longer

"Tala a bike, me I want your connections after we finish school what about you Nagisa?" you could hear Mr K dumbfound on the other end of the line.

"Training, continued training for whoever wants it in our class." Nagisa shared a smile with Karmas smirk and we high fived just as we broke the tree line to see Karasuma standing in front of the 3-E building. We all clicked off our phones and I walked up to Karasuma and handed over the SD Card. "This lost me my bike, gave me injuries and made me pull in Karma, Nagisa and Ritsu so they deserve a prize as well." I smiled up at him all innocent, "oh and a ride home, thanks." The adrenaline was starting to ware off and I had a long day. "I call you guys later; we will have a class reunion eventually." I gave them both a hug, patted Karasuma on the shoulder and climbed into the back seat of the car and laid down, head in the lap of one Professor Bitch. I was so tired I barely remember telling Ritsu to let them in the gate.
