I woke with a pang in my chest, jolting up right – I looked around to see if anything were to blame for it. The room was dark, and nothing seemed to be out of place. Turning on the table lamp beside me, the room sprang to life as if it were daytime. But looking out the window of my room, I could see that it didn't seemed to be passed three in the morning. I grabbed my phone from my end table, turning it on to gauge if my time was right. I saw that I had a few emails that I needed to look at and a message from Lissa. A wave of emotion ran through me as I was about to open the message as my phone sprang to life. Shit, shit, shit. Fumbling to turn it down, I answered it quickly. "Hello?" I said questioningly.

It was still too early for this. "Rose. Can you come to my suite? I need your help." Without even a response from me she told me her suite number and hung up. For fuck sake, I struggled out as I through my phone at the foot of the bed. Maybe if I didn't go, she would just go to bed and forget about it. After only a moment of mulling that over, I decided that it was best to just go see what is wrong so I could get back and get a few hours of sleep.

I jumped out of bed, thanking whoever was out there that thought it was a good idea for me to go to bed with the clothes that I ran in. Taking a whiff of my clothes, scrunching my nose at the scent that it held. I shrugged my shoulders. If Liss didn't like it then too bad, she called me before I could even take a shower. I hurried to put on my shoes before taking off out of my room. Locking it as I left.

I was shocked that she was only three doors down from my room. No wonder she knew I was here. She must have seen me lugging my belongings through the building and through this door. Creating a small rhyme of a knock on her door, I barely finished as she swung the door open. "What taken you so long?" She squawked out. I started at her wide eyed, beyond shock at how she just spoke to me. "Oh, come on." She pulled me inside and closed the door. She let go of my arm as I taken in her room, she also seemed to have no roommate. Lucky girl. "I need your help."

"Like you've said." I stated, pointedly. "And this couldn't wait until normal day hours?" I asked.

She shook her head, she motioned for me to sit beside her. Clapping my hands down to my legs, I exhaled loudly. "Alright Liss, I'm here. What do you need?" I asked as she reached out and pinched my arm. "Ow!" I smacked her hand away from me. She looked wounded but as I saw her mood changed, I could feel something wash over me. An emotion that was worried and wonder. She nodded before she taken her hand and scrapped it across her face, drawing blood as she done so. Before I could gasp out, I felt this strange feeling as if I were being pulled.

"Have you felt anything strange before you came over here tonight?" She asked. Was she referring to this whole night or since I got woken up? I asked my question to her. "Since you woken up."

I explained my strange feeling what I woke up by, before she had called me. Lissa just nodded as I continued on to tell her that I had an overwhelming feeling of being pulled. I placed my hand on her cheek "Why the hell did you do that?" I asked, shocked more than anything. She didn't seem to be bothered about my outburst as she closed her eyes and brought her hand over her cheek. I felt a warmth spread over me, but it was completely different from when I turn. This was like the sun casting down onto me. Warmth, goodness. As she brought her hand away from her face, she opened her eyes. My eyes widened as I saw that the bloody scratch was nowhere in sight.

"I was using it as a test. Apart of my special ability, I am able to heal not just myself but others." I was still shocked. Unable to say anything. "Oh, come on Rose, I know you know of special abilities. I could see it the first time I met you." She moved to her feet, trying to get me to my feet. "I think you should get some more sleep; you might fall over if you stay up any longer." Shaking my head, I stood to my feet.

"You're kicking me out after showing me that?" I gasped out. Surely, she wasn't doing just that, I can't go to sleep now.

I exited her room still stunned by this whole encounter. Why did she just test me? Couldn't she just tell me what was going on instead of keeping me out of the loop. I walked back to my room slowly, flashes of images flashed inside my mind, but they weren't of my memory or what I was seeing at the moment. I blinked a few times to get rid of whatever was coming over me.

I laid in my bed, unable to fall back asleep. I had been tossing just over an hour. Sitting up, I grabbed my phone. Checking the time – 4:35am. Great, perfect. This is what I want, to be lacking in my sleep for my second day. Thanks, Liss I mumbled, fully aware that she couldn't hear me. Getting up, I pull my shoes on, packing a pair of clothes in my extra bag, with my messenger bag – I set out after locking the door to my room. If I couldn't sleep, I was going to work out before the day starts.

In record time, and remarkable amount of stealth I was able to make it to the gym without being caught. It was beyond me, why the gym was open at this time of morning, but I didn't complain as I pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I set my bags down, stretching my hamstrings before I set off on the track. This was a far better one than the one at my old school. It was well maintenance and well kept. One thing I have to admit to is that this school takes pride in its building integrity.

I reached my tenth lap before slowing down, catching my breath before walking over to grab a cup of water. I neglected to grab a bottle of water, making sure I do a mental check to invest in one before I continue to do my mid-morning runs and mid-night runs.

Just as I was about to head back to the track, I felt the pulling sensation tug at me. Yet it felt like it was my subconscious being pulled. The sensation grew, pulling me throw to a new environment. A new place, that I haven't been to before. It seemed to be a dusty attic. I felt as if I was seeing from someone else eyes. Which was odd in itself, without even knowing who's eyes I can be seeing through. Several emotions wash over me as I hear the person, I was looking through their eyes speak, "It's been unheard of since St. Vladamir himself." It was feminine, familiar.

"It's all legends, nothing we can rely on. Even right now." A snarky voice spoke.

"I've done some test on her just an hour ago, I'm sure of it." Lissa? It couldn't be her, and just like that, I was proven wrong. "Christian, I believe we have the bond. I just have no idea what it means or how its happened." I could see Christian come into view.

"Rose." Feeling myself scrunch my nose, Christian hadn't said my name. "Rose." I tried looking around, yet I was only a bystander where I was now. I could feel a pulling, as if I were coming back to my own body. Looking through my own eyes. "Roza!" I could feel hands on my, shaking me by my shoulders. Shaking my head, bringing my hands to my forehead. I could feel myself swaying a bit. "Are you alright Roza?" I brought my eyes up to the person speaking: Dimitri. When had he come in here? Had I not noticed his presence? Gosh, if I chose this bodyguard roll, I would surely fail if I weren't able to detect him coming to me.

"Aye, comrade. When did you get here?"
