Chapter 2: The Morphing Grid

Disclaimer: I don't own Loud House or Power Rangers; all rights are owned by their respective owners and companies.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning in Royal Woods. Breakfast time was already over, especially for one particular household. The famous or rather infamous Loud House, home of Lincoln Loud and his quirky family. Things have been even crazier at the Loud house lately too. Last night the arguing could be heard from down the street. Something their next-door neighbor Mr. Grouse complained throughout the night. What the arguing about was the usual, about Lori and her other sisters being out past curfew. As per usual they arrived late to their curfew and got a serious talking from their parents. It didn't take long for Lynn. Sr and Rita to plan their punishments. They were effectively grounded for a week with restrictions to their favorite activities such as texting, going out with friends, no music, no jokes or pranks, no working out or sports, or TV. They could still go to school and their jobs if they had any, but any other activities were canceled. Which meant Lynn's sports and practices school-related or otherwise. Like Lucy's Morticians Club, Luan's Theatre Club, and anyone else's clubs.

It didn't take long for the arguing to begin after that. While Lucy and Leni kept quiet about the whole thing and accepted their punishments, the others put up more of a fight. Which resulted in them being sent to their rooms very early, and having their meals sent to them when dinner started. Family dinner was a very awkward affair, especially after an argument like that. That's why Lincoln asked if he could eat in his room last night instead of dealing with it. At first, his parents were concerned and asked why he wanted to do that, but after some convincing, they decided to let him do it.

Last night Lincoln spent most of it going over what he recently found out. Which is that his sisters and friends are Power Rangers. He still had trouble believing that. Lincoln spent all night in his notebook going over his notes and he did some research online. He desperately wanted answers for all the questions and mysteries he's discovered. Sadly, Lincoln only came up with little information. From what he's gathered, to become a Power Ranger you need a Morpher. The most widely known and documented instance of Power Rangers using their Morphers and transforming happened during the attack of Angel Grove back in 1998. The public at the time simply called them The Power Rangers but they were also known as Space Power Rangers.

There were a few other examples of Power Rangers making themselves known to the public other than the Space Rangers. The Lightspeed Rescue Power Rangers are widely known along with the Red Time Force Ranger, Red Quantum Ranger, and the Operation Overdrive Power Rangers. Some online sites say more Power Ranger identities were made public like the Dino Thunder or Mystic Force Power Rangers. But that's only speculation since no one has any solid evidence.

Anyways, Lincoln knew that you needed a Morpher to become a Power Ranger. Which means his sisters and friends had Morphers. The only thing Lincoln couldn't figure out is how they got them? Maybe they got them from Lisa? The more he thought about it, it slowly made sense. Lisa was a certified genius after all. If she could bring dinosaurs back to life and make robots then it shouldn't be too hard to make Power Rangers. Not only that but Lisa has been acting more weird than usual. She constantly spends her time in her room doing something, another thing is that she hasn't caused a major science accident in a while. No one has said a thing about it because they were loving the peace and quiet or because they didn't notice.

But Lincoln sure did notice.

Another thing Lincoln noticed was the bracelets each of his older sisters and Lucy had. They were on their wrists where he saw those strange Morphers they had on. He also noticed Clyde had a similar bracelet on his wrist. When Lincoln asked about it, Clyde seemed nervous and quickly said it was a gift from his dads. At first, Lincoln was a little suspicious since it almost sounded like Clyde had rehearsed that. But he simply thought it was Clyde being Clyde, after all, why would he lie to him?

'Geez, I can't believe he lied to me.'

Lincoln was laying down on his bed with a troubled frown, he was already dressed. His routine for the morning went on without a hitch, after fighting his way to the bathroom first he got ready and headed down for breakfast. Which happened to be pretty good, but things got pretty awkward when his sisters came down to eat. While his younger sisters were eating and having their usual shenanigans, Lucy and his older sisters were either sulking or glaring at their parents. His parents didn't seem too bothered by the glares and ate their breakfast. Throughout the whole meal Lincoln silently ate and kept to himself, he didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention from his older sisters and Lucy. When breakfast was over his sisters that were grounded were told to march up to their rooms since they were still grounded.

Surprisingly, they didn't cause much of a fuss and did as they were told. The others like Lisa and their younger sisters were free to do whatever around the house or outside. Lola took Lily upstairs to her room to play with her toys, Lana went outside to play in the mud and Lisa went to her room to do whatever she does. The Loud parents went around to do their usual routine, and Lincoln decided to head to his room to get some much-needed space to think to himself.

'No matter how much I think about it, I still can't figure out why they're all Power Rangers or how they got their powers.'

Lincoln let out a frustrated sigh, he needed a break away from his family. Things were getting way too awkward around here, and he needed a break to relax. The only problem is that he didn't know where to go. The mall was closed for repairs, he had no cash for the arcade, the movies, or the amusement park. Usually, he would call Clyde and ask where he would like to hang out. That really wasn't an option since he was not prepared to see Clyde again, not because he was annoyed that he didn't show up to hang out as they planned. It was more the fact that he was a Power Ranger and Lincoln didn't want to deal with that just yet. Early in the morning, Lincoln heard Clyde trying to contact him through their walky-talkies, but Lincoln turned his walkie off. So, Clyde tried to text him, but Lincoln ignored his texts.

It seemed like a crappy thing to do, but so is keeping secrets.

Suddenly Lincoln's phone went off, he sighed and looked to see if it was Clyde trying to call him. He was surprised to see it wasn't Clyde, but his friend Rusty Spokes.

'That's weird, why is Rusty calling me?'

Not seeing any reason not to answer, Lincoln answered his phone.

"Hey, Rusty, what's up?"

"Hey Lincoln, I just wanted to let you know me and the guys are going to check out at that new youth center that just opened. We were wondering if you wanted to come along. I already asked Clyde and Stella, but they're both grounded for some reason. Don't tell me you're grounded too?"

It wasn't surprising to hear both Clyde and Stella were grounded if they got home around the same time as his sisters. Then their parents would definitely ground them. From what Lincoln has heard, both Clyde and Stella's parents were worried about their behavior. Clyde's dads were having him visit their family therapist more often and Stella's parents were struggling to ground their daughter. The parents of each of the kids were trying to figure out why their children were acting like this, but they couldn't figure out why. Clyde and Stella no doubt lied or tried to avoid talking about their odd behavior. Anyways, Lincoln seemed excited.

"Nah, I'm not grounded but my older sisters and Lucy are. I'm totally free and bored out of my mind, I got no cash though if that's okay?"

'Heh, that's not a problem my old chum because my dad upped my allowance. Things have gotten so crazy with the monster attacks that most people are afraid to shop at the mall or any big store. Which is causing a lot of people to shop at my dad's clothing shop. It sucks that people are scared to go out like they used to but it's helping out my dad. So don't worry about paying for anything because it's on me."

"Wow, that's really cool Rusty! I'll ask my parents to see if it's okay if I can go. If I can I'll shoot you a text and you can tell me where this new youth center is. You okay with that?"

"No problem, just let me know whenever you're good to go. I'll catch you later Linc."

"Yeah, see you soon."

After that Lincoln hung up his phone and got up off his bed. He didn't need to get ready since he was already dressed, all he needed was his parent's permission. Lincoln didn't know for sure if his mom and dad would let him go. While he's been following the curfew and hasn't gotten into any real trouble yet. He was at the mall during that monster attack, what happened next only he and the rangers know. Ever since the monster attacks started they've been very overbearing and protective. Lincoln knew they were just worried, but he needed space.

'I won't really know what they'll do unless I ask.'

It didn't take long for Lincoln to leave his room and walk through the hallway. He seemed nervous because he was walking past his sisters rooms. The last thing he wanted was to get any of their attention. Too bad for Lincoln things never go his way. Lincoln failed to notice that one of the doors to one of his sisters rooms started to open.

"Lincoln…"

Soon as Lincoln heard that voice he stopped dead in his tracks, he recognized that voice and noticed where it was coming from. The door to Luna and Luan's door was slightly opened to reveal Luna peeking her head out looking over at her brother.

"Are you doing okay dude?" Luna asked with a concerned look. "Me and the others didn't get the chance to ask that last night or at breakfast. You were at the mall during that monster attack, are you okay?"

For the longest time, Lincoln just stood there looking straight ahead and not turning around to face her sister. Causing Luna to worry even more.

"Uh, yeah… I'm doing fine Luna." Lincoln hesitantly answered as he didn't bother to turn around. "I got out of there when those monsters show up. They didn't do anything to me, they might have scared me a little but I'm fine. Anyways, I got to go. The guys want to hang out at that new youth center that just opened up."

The look of concern hadn't changed on Luna's face. She and Lincoln were really close, and she could tell that something was bothering him. She noticed it during breakfast this morning, and she wasn't the only one. Luna didn't know what was bothering him, but it was obvious Lincoln didn't want to tell her.

"Okay, but I'm here if you ever want to talk little bro. Lori and the others are here too if wanna talk to them. Whatever is bothering you just let us know and it'll be between us. You can trust us."

Lincoln kept his eyes forward and clenched his hand into a fist when Luna said that. Deep down Lincoln felt the urge to yell at his sister, he wanted to say that she was a big fat liar along with the others. That he couldn't trust a single word they told him. How they've kept him and everyone in the dark and lied to them. But Lincoln kept his mouth shut and swallowed that urge to get rid of it. When it was finally gone, Lincoln sighed softy.

"Yeah, whatever you say, Luna." Lincoln spoke in a rather cold tone. "Look I gotta go, I'll see you later."

Luna's eyes widened in shock when she heard Lincoln's voice suddenly turn cold. Before she could say anything, Lincoln was already leaving. The only thing Luna could do was watch her little brother leave with a very worried expression on her face. What both Luna and Lincoln did not notice is that the door to Lucy and Lynn's room was opened only a little. Suddenly the door quietly closed shut.

Walking downstairs, Lincoln slowly calmed down and did his best to forget what Luna said to him. Too bad it wasn't that easy.

'I really shouldn't have been that cold to Luna. She might have deserved it, but it still wasn't right.'

Finally arriving downstairs, Lincoln turned to see both of his parents on the couch watching TV. Which was perfect since it meant Lincoln didn't have to look for them. He walked over quickly to get both Lynn. Sr and Rita's attention.

"Hey there kiddo, how you doing?" Lynn. Sr asked looking over at his son. "You need anything?"

"Do you want to talk about yesterday?" Rita asked with a concerned yet motherly tone. "We're here whenever you wanna talk, honey."

"Mom, I'm totally fine. I left soon as those monsters attacked, I might have gotten a little freaked out but I'm fine. I just wanna ask if it's okay I go out and hang out with the guys? That new youth center just opened and Rusty really wants me to go."

Both Lynn. Sr and Rita looked surprised before they looked at each other with uncertain looks.

"Honey, do you really want to go out so soon?" Rita asked with the same concerned expression. "I mean, you were just attacked yesterday."

Lincoln rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. He knew this wasn't going to be easy.

"Like I told you before I wasn't attacked, and I won't be out for that long. I just want some time away from the house. Things around here have been a bit tense, and I really need some space."

The looks of uncertainty both parents quickly turned into concern. They were parents long enough to know when something was bothering their children.

"What's wrong Lincoln?" Rita asked. "Is there something you want to tell us?"

Doing his best to hide his anxiousness, Lincoln frowned slightly and couldn't believe he was that easy to read. First Luna noticed and now his parents.

"It's nothing, it's just I want some time away from the house." Lincoln answered somewhat truthfully. "I'll only be out for a little while, just long enough to have some fun and I'll be back home way before curfew. Can I please go out?"

Somehow both Lynn. Sr and Rita knew Lincoln wasn't being entirely truthful with them. They could tell something was troubling their son, but they also knew Lincoln will not tell them no matter what they do or say. His older sisters and Lucy proved as much. Turns out their children could be pretty stubborn. Still, both parents have seen how Lincoln has behaved himself this past month and they couldn't be prouder. He's stuck to the curfew and is always around to help out since his older sisters and Lucy have been acting up. They still didn't like the idea of their children going out by themselves with those monsters attacking everyone now and again. Any parent would be hesitant, but they also knew they shouldn't be too overbearing or controlling with their kids. The only reason they were so hard on Lori and the others is that they've been acting so reckless and rebellious. Whether it's missing school and classes or coming home past curfew or lying. It's also because they should know better, Lori is close to leaving for college and the other girls are close to moving up in school. After all, they are the eldest except Lucy.

Nevertheless, both parents didn't see why they shouldn't let Lincoln go out with his friends. The chances of another monster attack happening were low. It also wouldn't hurt for Lincoln to have some time to himself. After all, he's earned it for his amazing behavior. Lynn. Sr thought it over and decided to give Lincoln his answer.

"Well, you have been on your best behavior and helping around the house more often. I don't see the harm of your mother and me letting you go out. But no breaking curfew young man, be sure to be back before then okay?"

Instantly Lincoln's eyes lit up in excitement and he smiled happily, he rushed over and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and then headed straight for the front door.

"Thanks! I love you guys and I'll see you later!"

Before either Lynn. Sr or Rita could do or say anything, Lincoln was already out the door, and he quickly closed it behind him. Both parents had surprised expressions since they didn't expect that to happen. Eventually Lynn. Sr went back to watching television while smiling and shaking his head slightly at his son's antics. Rita on the other hand still looked concerned.

"Do you think he'll be okay?"

"I'm sure he'll be just fine out there." Lynn. Sr replied reassuringly. "We've got to give our kids some space, he's been doing really good recently with school and around the house. Lincoln deserves a chance to have some fun, besides what kind of trouble could he get into?"

Lynn. Sr went back to watching television with an unassuming smile, while Rita looked over at the front door. She knew something was bothering her son. Although she loved all her children very much, she and Lincoln had a very special bond. Lincoln would always be her baby boy. That's why she knew something was troubling him. It wasn't just him either, Rita knew something was also bothering her older daughters and Lucy. Rita only wished she knew what so she could help them. Sadly, until they tell her what's bothering them. The only thing Rita can do is wait for them to tell her.

Once Lincoln was outside, he went over to get his bike ready which was by the garage. It was the hand-me-downer passed down from Leni down to Lincoln. Eventually Lincoln decided to give it to Lana who made some adjustments to it. But Lana gave it back to Lincoln since she's still too small to ride it. Lincoln gladly accepted the bike and promised to give it back once Lana was old enough. While putting on his bike helmet and walking over to his bike, Lincoln pulled out his phone to text Rusty and ask him for directions.

After grabbing his bike and leading it over to the driveway, Lincoln's phone rang notifying him of a text. Pulling his phone out one more time, he saw Rusty's text which was the name of the youth center along with directions.

"Alright, time to head off."

Lincoln put his phone away with a bright smile as he got on his bike and took off. While riding off down the street, all of Lincoln's worries slowly started to drift away. It felt liberating to feel the wind against his face and the smell of the open air. He desperately needed a break from all the drama at home, and the whole Power Rangers situation too. Hopefully, today will be all relaxation and having fun for him.

'Yep, today's going to be awesome!'

With Lisa

Back at the Loud House, in the room of Lisa and Lily. Our resident young genius was sitting on her stool which was by her desk. In her hands was a tablet device that showed a series of blueprints on the screen. Lisa was going over the finishing touches on her latest project, which happens to be Project: Z.

Like many of her projects recently, Project: Z was made to help the Power Rangers in their battle against Empress Scorpina and her evil forces. Lisa was close to finishing things, but she wanted to go over everything to make sure there were no problems. After all, this concerned the lives of the Power Rangers, her sisters, and their friends. Everything needed to go right and work correctly. Still, other problems have come to her attention.

The mental and emotional well-being of the rangers.

Lisa was a certified genius, and she didn't need to be one to see the struggle her team was going through. From what's she seen as of late concerning her older sisters alone. It's safe to say the life of a Power Ranger is taking its toll on them. She can only speculate how the others like Ronnie Anne and Sam were doing. From what she's seen it hasn't been good for them either. Although Lisa managed to keep them from giving up so far, she knows it's only a matter of time before something terrible happens.

There is only so much stress the human mind can take.

Despite being a certified genius and a Junior Nobel Prize recipient, Lisa wasn't an expert in psychology. Not yet at least. Lisa needed to fix this sooner rather than later unless she wanted her sisters and their friends to suffer further from the stress. Soon ideas started to formulate inside her mind, she had thought of adding a teleportation device with the Morphers. That way the rangers could instantly teleport to where they needed to be like home, school, or even at the base. As of right now, Lisa has only made two teleporters, one at the base and one other in an abandoned warehouse close by to Bobby and the others that live in Great Lakes City. And they could only teleport between each other. Lisa thought about using the teleporters to teleport to specific places without another teleporter being there. But Lisa still couldn't figure out to do it safely. The last time she tested the teleporter in that way, the fruit she used in the test ended up teleporting into the ground and ended up deformed and mushy. She needed precise coordinates to safely teleport someone without another teleporter being there.

It will take time, but Lisa is positive she can figure out a safer way for teleportation. She'll also need to miniaturize her teleportation technology to add it into the Morphers which will take some time.

In the meantime, Lisa needed a solution quickly. Not something that will take weeks or at worse months. She thought of more ideas like using her hologram technology, but it would be difficult since her team had to do more activities and more responsibilities than her. A mere thought of cloning entered her mind, but Lisa quickly perished the thought. She was still years away from doing such an experiment with a successful survival rate. Besides, the ethical and moral arguments her team would no doubt say would give her a headache. The more Lisa thought about it, the more difficult it was to come up with a solution to this problem.

'This is a rather troubling predicament, no matter what I come up with. It won't help the rangers right away. What should I do?'

Eventually, Lisa let out a defeated sigh, she turned her tablet device off and placed it on the desk. Maybe she should contact and ask Alpha 8 for their input on the situation? Alpha 8 may only be a machine, but Lisa had found an odd kinship with the robot. It was also refreshing to talk to a fellow intellectual whose intelligence can match her own. At times Lisa would even ask for Alpha 8's help or advice on certain things.

Suddenly that's when Lisa had one more thought that really got her thinking.

'Hmm, what if the rangers had someone to talk to like I do with Alpha 8?'

It may have sounded a little odd, but Lisa knew there was some merit to this idea. Statistics show that if a person is suffering from mental or emotional problems, talking about it with a certified therapist or someone close helps out a lot. Thinking about it more, Lisa saw this often in her own family unit. If any of her siblings were feeling troubled with anything. They would usually go to their parental units or older siblings. Every so often they would even talk to their friends or teachers if they wanted.

Sadly, it seems that can't be a valid option for the Rangers for several reasons. Their secret being a prime factor. None of them could simply go to a therapist and talk about their problems. Client confidentiality could only go so far, and they couldn't risk this big of a secret. And the rangers going to any of their family or anyone else close would be very problematic.

'Somehow they need someone willing to keep all of this a secret. Someone who can understand the situation they are in, an older and mature person who can guide them through their troubles. Preferably someone who knows all about Power Rangers and knows the difficulties of living as one.'

Slowly Lisa came to realize what just the rangers needed. Not only did they need someone to talk with about their problems, but they also needed someone to guide them during these troubling times. She and Alpha 8 were doing their best to be there for them. Unfortunately, they could only do so much. No, what they need is a mentor. A person who cannot just guide them, but a person who can teach them how to be better Power Rangers. This means it needs a retired or active Power Ranger.

Power Rangers, now Lisa knew just the person to help with that. Lisa leaned over to pull open a drawer from her desk, she reached in and pulled out an earpiece. She placed it in her ear and turned it on.

"Alpha, I'm going to need your assistance on another project to help the rangers. How is the progress of Project: Z?"

It didn't take long for Lisa to hear Alpha 8 respond back.

"Aye-yi-yi-yi-yi, Miss Lisa! It's so good to hear from you again. The progress on the project is coming along great, but it'll be some time before everything is complete. I'm doing my best to speed things along but I'm afraid there's only so much I can do."

"That's okay Alpha, just keep the progress at a steady pace and everything will be adequate. I hope you don't mind if I ask for your assistance with another important project?"

"I am happy to be of any assistance Miss Lisa, I owe you so much for bringing me back online along with building this new body for me. Whatever you need of me, I'm more than happy to help. What do you require of me?"

Lisa smiled upon hearing the excitement in Alpha's voice. Such a curious thing a robot can do. One of the many things Lisa found fascinating about Alpha 8.

"Thank you Alpha, your aid is welcomed and very much appreciated. What I need from you is up-to-date information on all Power Rangers, both active and inactive. Preferably those residing on Earth in this current timeline and universe. The rangers need a mentor to help them during these uncertain times. Can you do that for me?"

"Why of course Miss Lisa, give me a few moments and I'll send all available information. If you need anything else I'm always here to help."

"I will remember that Alpha, your assistance is invaluable, and I am extremely grateful to have you by my side. Goodbye Alpha."

"Goodbye and have a wonderful day Miss Lisa."

Smiling once more before taking off her earpiece, Lisa placed it back in the drawer and closed it. She then heard a soft ping come from her tablet and she picked it up to see that Alpha had sent her the information she needed.

'Ah, Alpha certainly works fast. Now let's see what we have here.'

Giving a few swipes on her tablet, Lisa saw a large amount of information Alpha 8 had sent her. They were heavily detailed profiles of active and inactive Power Rangers ranging from Mighty Morphin to the recently active Dino Fury. Most would be intimated by having to go through all this information or find it impossible, but not Lisa. She saw this as child's play and found it therapeutic. There was nothing she found more relaxing than going through vast amounts of data.

"Time to find the perfect candidate."

Lisa then went ahead to search for the perfect mentor for the rangers. What Lisa did not know is that fate or a higher power had other plans in motion. A certain Power Ranger on the team was about to meet someone very unexpected.

Great Lakes City, The Casagrande Apartments

While The Loud family was having their family drama and doing their own thing. Another odd family in a different city that wasn't too far away was having their own family troubles. And that would be the Casagrande family, Ronnie Anne, and Bobby's family. Right now, Ronnie Anne was in her room and laying on her bed bored out of her mind. You may ask why Ronnie Anne doesn't do something to relieve this boredom like get on her phone or laptop or even go hang out with her friends or family? Well, you see Ronnie Anne couldn't do that because of one little itty-bitty problem.

Ronnie Anne was grounded, and it wasn't just her because her big brother Bobby was also grounded. Which means no phone, no laptop, no television, or anything fun. The reason for this is because both Ronnie Anne and Bobby had broken the curfew that their mother and grandparents had set. You can guess how well they reacted when Ronnie Anne and Bobby showed up late once again. Maria, Hector, and Rosa were very worried about them and absolutely livid when Ronnie Anne, and Bobby didn't say where they were or what they were doing. Thankfully things didn't get too heated like arguing, but they did get a lecture and disappointed looks from their mom and grandparents. They were then sent to their rooms and grounded. Until further notice they were to stay put in their rooms, only to leave whenever called to help around, eat or go to the bathroom.

'So, this is the life of a secret superhero… gotta say it's not what I expected.'

Who would have guessed this be Ronnie Anne's life now? She sure didn't or for that matter liked it. Often she wondered why she kept doing this Power Ranger stuff. Don't get her wrong, she loved the powers and everything that came with being a Power Ranger, especially the suit. Of course, she wished it was purple but that's Luna's whole thing. Still, that didn't mean orange was a bad color, after all, Lincoln makes it work. Speaking of her other best friend, Ronnie Anne wished she had access to her phone or laptop so she could try and contact him. It's been so long since they last spoke to each other, the last thing she wanted was for him to think she was avoiding him. These past couple of days she's been trying to find time to get into contact with him, but she's just been so busy. Her life was already crazy before becoming a Power Ranger and now it seems it's becoming too much for her.

'Maybe I should just quit? No, I can't do that to Bobby, Sid, and the others. Not after everything we've been through. I can't just walk away now when things are getting tough. But man, I wish things would get easier.'

Ronnie Anne hated this, but there wasn't much she could do about it. Sure, she could try and spill the beans on everything to her family. But the chances of them freaking out were too much for her to deal with. There's also the chance they wouldn't believe her which would also suck.

'Man, I hope the others are doing better. Knowing Sid's parents, they're making sure she's grounded, but probably for only a week or less like us. I'll know for sure when we see each other at school tomorrow. I don't know about Clyde, but his dads are probably grounding him too and making him see that family therapist of theirs. I'm glad I'm not him right now. Hopefully, the others are doing okay.'

At first, Ronnie Anne wasn't sure about this team of hers. She didn't have any problems working with her brother, Sid, Clyde, and Stella or even Sam when they're out there kicking monster butt. It was the others that worried her. She knew Lori well enough given she is her brother's girlfriend and Lincoln's sister, but that didn't mean she always had to like her attitude especially when it comes to treating Lincoln unfairly. The other Loud sisters were in the same boat, and Ronnie Anne did not get along with Lynn at all. While she'll begrudgingly follow her so-called leader's orders in a fight, Ronnie Anne made it clear they weren't friends. Out of all the Loud sisters, Lynn treated Lincoln way worse. She's heard the names Lynn calls him and how she treats him from Clyde and her other Royal Wood friends.

'No one treats lame-o like that but me.'

Suddenly knocking could be heard coming from Ronnie Anne's door. She looked surprised since she wasn't expecting anyone to drop by her room.

"It's open!"

The door opened to reveal her older cousin Carlota, someone Ronnie Anne wasn't expecting to see.

"Hey, Carlota, what's up? You do know that I'm grounded right?"

"Yeah, my parents told us, I gotta admit Ronnie I love this whole new rebellious phase you're doing. You should really let me find you some more fashionable clothes to go with it. Anyways, I'm here because I need help greeting and helping our newest resident moving in today. I already ask your mom and she said it's okay for you to help me out. Can you please give me a hand? I really need to impress Mr. Scully so he can probably give me a raise."

From what Ronnie Anne could see, Carlota really wanted some help. The way she looked at her with those pleading eyes caused Ronnie Anne to sigh.

"Fine, I'll give you a hand." Ronnie Anne sighed while getting off her bed. "It sure beats staying cooped up in here doing nothing."

Carlota seemed very happy because she smiled and walked over to give Ronnie Anne a tight hug.

"Gracias, I really need this. I owe you one, cousin."

Ronnie Anne smiled up at her older cousin, ever since moving in with her extended family. Carlota has acted like a big sister to her and Bobby.

"Ah, it's problem. That's what family is for."

Both girls shared a smile as Carlota stopped hugging Ronnie Anne. She then motioned Ronnie Anne to follow her with her hand. Both girls left Ronnie Anne's room and headed towards their apartment door. First, they went through the living room where they saw CJ playing with Lalo and saw their grandmother Rosa cooking something in the kitchen. CJ saw them and waved at them happily, both girls waved back while smiling. Eventually, both girls left the apartment with no fuss and headed downstairs to see the new resident.

"So, who's moving in?"

"Oh, he's an amateur MMA fighter I think. Apparently, he's rich from what his dad left him after passing away and he wants to put that money to good use by opening up a gym here. At least that's what Mr. Scully told me. Our new neighbor should be outside waiting for us."

Ronnie Anne raised an eyebrow at Carlota while looking confused. That really wasn't a lot of helpful information, a name would have been nice. Still, it looks like that wouldn't matter since they were about to meet this new resident. Finally, both Ronnie Anne and Carlota made it down to the first floor. They left through the front entrance leading down to the street. Once they got onto the street they were surprised by what they saw parked right near them. Parked on the street was a retro-looking blue off-road jeep that looked like it came from a sci-fi movie. In the back of the jeep were boxes that were being unloaded by a man in his 30s. He had a very fit physical body befitting an MMA fighter. He had a shaved head with a light stubble, and it looked like he had tattoos on his arms and chest it seems. He wore a dark blue shirt with regular jeans and brown boots. The man stopped what he was doing when he noticed both Ronnie Anne and Carlota.

"Oh, hello! You must be Carlota, Mr. Scully said you'd help me settle in."

Carlota blushed ever so slightly, she didn't expect their new neighbor to be so fit and handsome. Ronnie Anne didn't seem to care how handsome the guy looked. She did admit he looked pretty cool with his tattoos and how beefy he was. What really got Ronnie Anne's attention was the jeep. For some odd reason when Ronnie Anne first saw it, she felt an unknown familiarity with it. Almost like she and the jeep shared a connection of some kind. The man noticed the way Ronnie Anne was looking at his jeep and smiled.

"Noticed my ride, eh? It might look a little old and funny, but it's been with me for a very long time. I could never ask for a better ride."

Ronnie Anne slowly walked over to the jeep to get a closer look, she smiled as she admired it. It didn't really look that old, in fact, it looked pretty new if that was possible. The man looked surprised but impressed that Ronnie Anne was admiring his jeep.

"I call it Storm Blaster, and it's one of a kind." The man proudly stated with a smile. "Ah, it seems I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Justin Stewart, and it's nice to meet you both."

Finally, Carlota stopped blushing and regained her composure. She walked over and offered a handshake to Justin, who gladly accepted it with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Carlota Casagrande which you already know and that's my little cousin Ronnie Anne Santiago. We're here to help you move into your apartment which is one floor above the one my family and I live in. If you'd follow me, I'll show you where your apartment is, and we'll help you get settled in."

"That'd be great." Justin smiled happily. "This place isn't no Angel Grove, but I think I'm going to like it here."

Carlota kept smiled as she slowly led Justin up the steps and into the apartment complex. She stopped to see Ronnie Anne still admiring Strom Blaster.

"Hey Ro, let's go!"

A small sigh came from Ronnie Anne as she left to go join her cousin and Justin, both of whom had already entered the apartment complex. Ronnie Anne walked up the steps and was about the go through the entrance until she stopped to take a look at Storm Blaster again.

'Weird, I can't help but feel like I know that jeep from somewhere. It also feels off somehow, almost like…'

Shaking her head and shrugging off whatever she was feeling, Ronnie Anne, entered through the entrance and didn't look back at Storm Blaster. What Ronnie Anne didn't know is that there is more to Storm Blaster than it seems. A few moments later, Storm Blaster's headlights turned on and off as it honked for a short moment. For a mere moment, it looked as if the jeep was alive. Looks like there's something very special about Ronnie Anne's new neighbor and his jeep. The day isn't over yet, and it seems there's still plenty in store.

With Lincoln

The bike ride is just what Lincoln needed, it felt good to be out of the house. The ride from his house to the new youth center didn't take that long which suited him just fine. Before Lincoln knew it, he had already arrived and was parking his bike at the bike rack right outside the youth center. Lincoln took a look around and saw plenty of cars parked in the parking lot in front and plenty of bikes on the racks. He smiled when he saw Rusty and his friends bikes on one of the racks. Taking a look up at the sign displayed up, it read "Royal Woods Youth Center". Also, on the sign, it read gym, juice bar, and games.

'Looks cool, wonder what the guys are doing inside?'

Not wanting to waste any time, Lincoln quickly entered the youth center, and he was impressed by what he saw. He saw kids and teens everywhere having fun with a couple of adults watching or helping around. There was a gym with lots of weights and other equipment, and large thick multipurpose mats placed on the floor not too far. It looks like there was some sort of martial arts class going on there since an instructor in a white and orange martial arts Gi talking with some kids. It also looks like there was a game corner where a bunch of arcade games was placed with kids playing and crowding around them. And finally, there was a juice bar with plenty of tables spread around close by. Lincoln looked around and eventually saw Rusty, Liam, and Zach. All three were seated at a table with drinks and were talking to each other and having fun it looks. Soon Rusty noticed Lincoln and waved at him.

"Yo, Lincoln!"

Lincoln waved back with a smile as he walked over to his friends. Once he reached them, Lincoln took a seat on the extra chair at the table. It felt good to see his friends again. The only ones missing were Clyde and Stella, and it was pretty obvious why they weren't here. Nevertheless, Lincoln didn't want to think about them right now.

"What's up guys, this place looks awesome." Lincoln smiled taking one more look around the place. "When I heard they were starting up a new youth center I didn't imagine it'd be like this."

"Tell me about it, this place is so awesome I think we should make this our new hangout spot." Rusty said before taking a sip from his drink which looked like grape juice smoothie. "Apparently the guy running this place wanted to make a place where anyone can have fun, I even heard they're thinking of having adding a small library and computer lap here eventually."

"Are you sure about that?" Liam asked with his usual countryside accent. "No way the city is paying that much for a place like this. Not with them paying for all the damages after those monster attacks."

"That's the weird thing, apparently the city didn't pay a dime for this place. The guy running this place paid for all of it, all he needed was the approval of the city and permits. Which is kind of nuts if you ask me."

The boys around the table looked surprised and couldn't help but agree with Rusty. What kind of guy would pay so much for a place like this?

"All sounds very suspicious if you ask me." Zach stated in a rather skeptical tone and expression. "A mysterious rich guy opens up this place totally out of the blue, right when those aliens start showing up. Hmm, could they be connected?"

Didn't take long for Lincoln and his friends to let out groans or shake their heads. They should have guessed Zach would spin this into one of his crazy conspiracy theories. Ever since the Power Rangers and monsters started showing up, Zach's been saying nonstop that he was right and that we should prepare for imminent invasion. He even claimed that the Power Rangers were aliens in disguise trying to gain our trust. Even before finding out the rangers identities, Lincoln knew that was pretty farfetched. Still, that didn't mean Zach wasn't onto something since there have been alien Power Rangers before. Not that Lincoln would ever tell him that.

"For the last time Zach… stop coming up with crazy conspiracy theories!" Rusty exclaimed with an irritated look. "Just yesterday you wouldn't shut up about the new streetlight being set up outside your house because you think it's a surveillance device following your every move."

"Okay, I will admit I was reaching with that one, but I can say for certain we are all being monitored." Zach stated before leaning over towards the others and letting out a whisper. "Just don't let them hear you…"

The boys around the table each gave Zach deadpan looks before Rusty looked like he was ready to pull his hair out.

"Them! Zach, who the heck are them! You keep talking about them, but you never tell us anything! Do you mean the Power Rangers? The monsters? The government?"

Zach smiled and nodded at Rusty.

"Exactly."

Rusty looked ready to jump over the table and throttle Zach to the floor, but thankfully he only let out a defeated sigh and softy slammed his head onto the table. Liam was in between annoyance and pure confusion as he tried his best to understand Zach's crazy ramblings. Lincoln looked like he rather be anywhere but here. And he saw his chance when he started to get thirsty and noticed the juice bar.

"Yeah, I'm going to get a drink if that's okay with you guys." Lincoln awkwardly said as he slowly got up from his chair. "Rusty, you got this one right?"

"Yeah… the drinks are free apparently." Rusty softly groaned while keeping his head pressed against the table. "Can you please get some ice if you can, I think I got a headache…"

Letting out a small wince, Lincoln simply nodded and headed over to the juice bar while shaking his head slightly. His friends were pretty strange, more than strange if you asked anyone. Still, they were his friends, and he wouldn't ask for anyone better. Walking over to the juice bar, Lincoln smiled as he noticed it resembled a tiki bar. He also noticed a small sign placed over the bar that reads "Ernie's Juice Bar". That's not all he noticed since he saw the person running the juice bar. From the looks of it, he was rather paunchy and in his early 50s at best. He had a slightly trimmed beard and mustache, it also looked like he was bald but covered it with a black ivy cap. He wore a standard Hawaiian shirt and simple white shirt underneath, and he had brown khaki shorts and some tennis shoes. The man was cleaning the bar with a wet rag until Lincoln walked up, he smiled at Lincoln and nodded.

"How you doing, what can I get you?"

Lincoln smiled back as he looked over at the menu sign which was under the bar's name sign. After some browsing, Lincoln decided to order what caught his eye first.

"Hmm, I think I'll have some fruit punch."

"No problem, all drinks for today are free." The man stated proudly. "I wanna make sure everyone has a good time while here. So, as a dear old friend of mine used to say. It's on the house."

"Wow, that's awesome." Lincoln replied while smiling before noticing the sign of the bar again. "So, I'm guessing you're Ernie?"

The man looked confused before realizing what Lincoln meant and starting chuckling slightly.

"Nope, that would be the old friend I was telling you about. His name was Ernie and he used to run a juice bar like this place. I named it after him to honor him in some way. He passed away a long time ago before you were born I think. Yeah, he was a real good guy even though my best bud and I would get on his nerves sometimes. Ernie didn't mind though since we were always welcomed to his place. That's the kind of place I hope to make here. Where you kids will always be welcome whenever."

The smile on Lincoln's face diminished after hearing what the man said. Whoever this Ernie guy was, he sounded like a good guy. Someone Lincoln would have loved to meet.

"Sorry to hear about your friend." Lincoln said giving the man a sympathetic look. "He sounds like a real cool guy."

The man finished preparing Lincoln's drink after putting some ice in it. He then looked up at the juice bars sign with a sad smile.

"Yeah, he really was a cool guy."

The sad smile the man had quickly turned into a joyful one as he placed Lincoln's drink on the counter in front of him.

"Anyways, here's your drink. Oh, it seems I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Farkas Bulkmeier, but everyone just calls me Bulk."

"It's nice to meet you Bulk, my name is Lincoln Loud." Lincoln smiled as he presented his hand to Bulk, who gladly accepted it and shook it with a smile. "I better head back to my friends, thanks for the drink, and see you around!"

"No problem, you take care and drop by anytime."

Bulk smiled while seeing Lincoln wave a slight goodbye before rushing off to join his friends again at their table. Taking a good look around, Bulk saw teenagers and kids all hanging out and having fun. It honestly made him feel a little nostalgic. He remembered it as if it were yesterday, him and his best friend having the time of their lives. Although they would always get into trouble or at worse get the attention of monsters, their friends like Lt. Stone, Ernie, and the Power Rangers would always get them out of it.

Well, sometimes at least.

"Hey Bulk, mind giving a fella a drink!"

Snapping out of his reminiscing, Bulk looked over to see the martial arts instructor from earlier walking over to him. The instructor looked to be in his late 30s and had a rugged yet handsome face, he had short dirty blond hair with a bit of stubble. Once he made it to the bar, he took a seat and smiled at Bulk.

"Man, I didn't know it'd be rough being a teacher. RJ made it look so easy. Those kids have a lot of energy, don't know if I'm rusty or just getting old."

"Who knows, maybe it's both?"

Both men shared a good laugh, Bulk went and got the instructor a bottle of water. Something he gladly accepted with a grateful smile. Twisting the cap off, the instructor took a much-needed drink. When done he put his drink down to give Bulk a grateful expression.

"Thanks, Bulk, and I'm not just talking about the water. I really appreciate the job and the pay. After the way things ended with Fran, I really need this."

"No need to thank me Dominic, I'm sorry to hear about you and your lady. It sounds like you guys were really serious."

Dominic frowned slightly with a sorrowful look in his eyes.

"Yeah, I thought so too. We've been through a lot over the years. When I stopped to help out my buddy RJ and his friends, they weren't really thrilled with me hanging around because of how laid back I am. RJ was cool with me like always, he's that cool of a guy. Anyways, I had trouble getting adjusted and them getting adjusted to me. Fran really helped me, she's that kind of person. Always willing to help anyone. After I got done helping my friends, I decided to keep traveling but I wanted Fran to come with me. And somehow she agreed. Man, the adventures we had. Backpacking across Europe and South America was fun, when we got around to Asia that's when things started to get complicated. While I had no problem with traveling, Fran wanted to head back home. She talked about going back to Ocean Bluff and take over for RJ who wanted to spend more time with his dad who's not getting any younger. We talked about it, and I was all for it, but when she started talking about some serious stuff like settling down and marriage. I… didn't know what to do. I told her we'd talk about it, but we never did and finally, she wanted to go home. She bought two tickets and asked if I wanted to come with her."

"And did you?" Bulk asked now getting interested in the story. "Go with her I mean."

"Oh, I did, and we were happy for a while. We both got jobs back at RJ's pizzeria, eventually, RJ decided to let Fran run things and she really got into it. She took her job very seriously and the pizzeria got more popular which meant she spent more time focused on her job. Things only got more complicated from there. It looked like Fran didn't really have enough time for us, and I wasn't really happy. I'm not the type of guy to stay in one place for too long. It's not that I didn't love Fran, she's amazing and so kind. How can I not love her? It's just that I still feel like my destiny is somewhere else and that I still need to search for it. Sounds crazy but that's what my old master told me before I left to travel around. I didn't know how to tell Fran since she wouldn't understand. So, one night I just left and the only thing I left behind was a note trying to explain things."

"Sheesh…"

"Yeah, pretty scummy I know." Dominic sighed bitterly. "I hate myself for putting Fran through that, running away was so cowardly. I kept on traveling until RJ tracked me down. We talked which led to an entire argument. Didn't take long for us to get into a real fight… I don't wanna delve deep into what happened but let's just say RJ and I aren't speaking."

"Man, that's rough buddy."

"Tell me about it, eventually I ran out of cash and decided to take up being a martial arts instructor to help out. I still can't thank you enough for giving me the job."

"Hey like I said, don't worry about it." Bulk smiled. "My buddy Skull is the one you should thank since none of this would be possible without him. He gave me the money to start this place up and keep it running for a while. I couldn't ask for a better best friend and brother-in-law."

"A pretty random place to set up shop. Kind of dangerous too with all the monster attacks. Aren't you a little worried?"

"I'm a little worried, but I'm sort of used to it. If you knew the kind of life I've lived you'd understand. Besides, I know I can count on these new Power Rangers to keep an eye on things. So far I've learned to always count on the Power Rangers. I have complete faith in them."

A stunned look appeared on Dominic's face, he then smiled softly and chuckled as he nodded at Bulk. Afterwards, he looked down at the bracelet on his wrist. He knew a thing or two about Power Rangers very well.

"Yeah, I guess you're right about that Bulk."

Scorpina's Moon Palace

Far from Earth, on the moon. Sinister forces were making plans for their world domination. The moon palace that once belonged to Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd was filled with life as foot soldiers like Putties and Tronics were off preparing for something big. In the throne room, Scorpina was seated on the throne with her general Rito Revolto standing by her side. While Finster and Scrozzle were standing before her.

"Scrozzle, how goes preparations?" Scorpina asked with an eager tone and glint in her eye. "I trust the new additions to our forces are settling into their new positions?"

"Quite well indeed my empress, the Tronics have settled into the army very well. I have them bringing my essential equipment from the Cyber Dimension and setting them up in my new lab. I also have them repairing the palace to make it worthy of such a mighty and stunning empress."

A small chuckle came from Scorpina as she sent Scrozzle a calculating stare.

"Flattery, while I consider it entertaining I only want results, Scrozzle. On that topic, how many Gigadrones have you prepared?"

"My empress, with such little Morph-X available I've only managed to get 4 Gigadrones powered up for our forces. With Morph-X no longer being made, I need a more plentiful and powerful source of power to keep them coming. Until then these are the only ones I can bring over to this dimension."

That seems to be not what Scorpina wanted to hear as she sent Scrozzle an unnerving glare before letting out a sigh.

"I guess it can't be helped, we'll make do with only 4 of your machines. How are your Robotrons coming along?"

"I have 4 of them already waiting for your orders as we speak. They are ready and eager to serve you, my empress." Scrozzle chuckled darkly. "Unlike with my Gigadrones, I still have a Morph-X key in my possession that will allow me to keep making more Robotrons from ordinary objects. The objects the Putties and Tronics stole for us will make our Robotrons powerful."

A sinister smile graced Scorpina's dangerous yet beautiful face.

"That's good news, I trust you have good news as well Finster?"

The old alien inventor looked nervous as he bowed his head at Scorpion.

"My empress, the production of my Putties is moving quickly and well. As for the monsters, I've only made 4 as well so far. May I ask, do you mean to send my monsters or Scrozzle's Robotrons in the next attack?"

Suddenly the smile on Scorpina's face turned into a frightful frown which placed everyone on edge. They hoped their empress was angry and take it out on them. To everyone's shock, they saw Scorpina began to smile which looked very savage.

"I want you both to send everything we have in the next attack."

Finster, Rito, and even Scrozzle appeared to be very shocked by this unexpected order.

"A-are you sure about that, my empress?" Finster asked hesitantly. "Don't you think that's a little bit excessive?"

A rather dark chuckle came from Scorpina as she looked at Finster with a terrifying look in her eye.

"Oh, I don't rightfully care if it's excessive or not. These Power Rangers are proving to be more infuriating than the others. From what I've seen there are more of them than any of those in the past. This means it's going to take more than one monster and a squad of Putties to take them out. They haven't used any Zords so far either because they see no need to use them or perhaps they have none. Which is even better. Time and time again they repel my attacks. Doesn't matter if I send my forces to Royal Woods or Great Lakes City, they are always there to stop it! Well, let's see how they fare against the combined might of our forces on both cities! We'll send everything we have and lay waste to everything and everyone! I want the Power Rangers brought to my feet in defeat with their cities destroyed and loved ones crushed under my might!"

Scorpina got up from her throne and slowly made her way to the observation balcony. Scrozzle and the others followed after her. Eventually, they stood outside on the balcony overlooking a grand sight. Countless Putty Patrollers were standing with a vast amount of Tronics in rows as well. Behind the large army were 4 very large Gigadrones that were being prepared by Tronics. It didn't take long for the Putties and Tronics to notice their leaders and creators watching them from above. They let out loud cries as they raised their arms in the air.

They were ready for battle!

"Soon the Power Rangers will be destroyed along with everything and everyone they love! HAHAHA!"

Rito didn't show it since his skull appearance wouldn't let him, but he was terrified. Finster looked very terrified and uncertain about this whole thing. Meanwhile, Scrozzle let out an ominous chuckle that no one heard. With everyone completely unaware his green eyes suddenly flashed a bright red.

The Morphing Grid

Beyond space and time, a place that is connected throughout all of the entire timeline and the multiverse as a whole. The Morphing Grid is more than a simple power source the Power Rangers and others use. It's older and more powerful than anyone could possibly imagine. To the average person, this place would appear to be nothing but someplace in the nether regions of space with vast stars in the distance. But that wasn't the case. This place was also home to very powerful and old beings. One such individual happened to be watching the events on Earth and the moon with worry. This individual appeared to be humanoid and made of bright blue energy. His eyes were a bright white that looked godly as he had no hair or anything. The individual looked to have a sphere in front of him that showed Scorpina on the balcony with her allies overlooking her army.

"Zordon of Eltar, what is troubling you?"

The mysterious being, now known to be Zordon turned to see three other otherworldly beings behind him. They looked even stranger than him for one obvious reason. They looked like Power Rangers. However, this wasn't really the case because they are something much more. They are the three Emissaries of The Morphin Masters, one red, one blue, and one yellow. Their appearance looked to be constantly shifting from one Power Ranger form into another as mysterious energy surged around them.

"Emissaries, I have grown concerned with the events unfolding from my universe and what is transpiring on Earth. In the past, Scorpina proved to be a deadly and sadistic warrior, but now with her leading such a powerful army ready to attack Earth. I am concerned these new Power Rangers might not be enough."

The Blue Emissary floated over to Zordon to look at the viewing sphere with him.

"Your concerns are warranted Zordon, but you must remember this is not the first or last time your Earth will be in peril. For countless generations, the Power Rangers have always answered the call when evil tries to overcome the light. To the very First Ranger to these new Power Rangers, you must have faith they will overcome such evil like those before them."

Zordon did not look to be put at ease as the view on the sphere changed. It started to show Lisa Loud in her room still researching on her tablet.

"I still do not understand The Morphin Masters decision to give the Kyutamas to Lisa Loud. Although she is very brilliant and will one day bring an era of technological and scientific advancement to Earth. She still has a long way to go to achieve her true potential. She is still a child, one who should cherish a childhood with her siblings and parents."

This time it was the Yellow Emissary who joined Zordon to look at the sphere.

"What the Morphin Masters do is not up for us to judge. Since the very beginning of time itself, they have watched and intervened accordingly. You must have faith in what they have planned."

Zordon gave the Emissary a slight frown before the view on the sphere changed again. Now it showed Lynn Loud sulking in her room with a small tennis ball in her hands as she bounced it on the wall over and over again.

"I fear for these new rangers, they are far younger than any of those who came before them. Justin Stewart may be the only exception, yet he had guidance from those that came before him. As a sage, I have spent centuries protecting life and helping maintain the balance. I have mentored rangers that have shaped history, saved worlds, and even paid the ultimate sacrifice. A sacrifice that I gladly paid as well. I can see these children have the potential to be great Power Rangers, possibly greater than the others that came before them. But they need proper guidance if they want to achieve that potential."

Finally, it was the Red Emissary to join the others at the viewing sphere.

"They will have that guidance Zordon, for The Morphing Grid has willed it. Even as we speak events are unfolding for the betterment of these new Power Rangers. You once told us to have faith in your Power Rangers, now have faith in these ones."

The view on the sphere changed once more that showed Justin, Alpha 8, Dominic, and even Bulk.

"Those of the past will help guide these new Power Rangers to a brighter future. They may stumble like those before them, but we must have trust in the Morphin Masters and the Morphing Grid itself. I have no doubt more familiar faces will show up to help these Power Rangers. With their guidance, their true potential will eventually emerge."

A sudden smile appeared on Zordon's face as he saw the familiar faces of Justin and Bulk. He deeply missed Alpha, the one he treated like his own child. Eventually, he frowned again as the view on the sphere to show something rather odd. It showed a cave that looked to be a hideout of some sort. It had food, comic books, and other things placed around. What looked really odd was that a person was sitting down with their back pressed against a cave wall. This person was the mysterious Power Ranger that randomly appeared last night. The Power Ranger in black resembled the Red Mighty Morphin Ranger. He didn't look in very good shape.

"I have faith in the Morphin Masters, but I cannot understand why he is there. The terror and death he has caused across the multiverse… it's evil. I still don't understand why The Morphin Masters took so long to put a stop to his rampage. The countless lives destroyed by him… all because of one fatal mistake. My counterpart failed his Tommy Oliver resulting in him becoming Lord Drakkon causing a multiversal war that ended the lives of so many. Which caused this Power Ranger to fall to darkness. While I feel for his pain, he must pay for what he has done."

Suddenly Zordon felt a hand touch his shoulder. He turned to look at the Red Emissary looking at him.

"You still think too linearly Zordon, there is a plan for this Power Ranger. A plan that is tied with another certain individual. For their destiny are intertwined with one another. To defeat the darkness, one must only be saved by the light. One such human has the light needed."

The view on the sphere changed one last time to show Lincoln Loud having fun with his friends. Zordon could see the light-emitting around Lincoln, he had boundless and friendly energy that affected those around him. The old sage could see the good in Lincoln's heart, it reminded Zordon of Jason Lee Scott and his Tommy Oliver. When Tommy Oliver was forced to become the evil Green Ranger, Jason and other Power Rangers brought him out of that darkness. Perhaps this boy can do the same for this fallen Power Ranger?

Only the Morphin Masters and Morphing Grid know for sure.

With Lincoln

It was close to dusk when Lincoln finally decided to head home. He had so much fun with his friends he didn't realize how late it was getting. It felt so good to get away from everything for a little while. They all had fun that they were really considering the youth center to be their new favorite spot. Lincoln was happy to consider it since it was a pretty awesome place with good people running it like Bulk. When it finally came time to head home it really bummed them out, but they all promised to come back once school was over tomorrow. Lincoln didn't give much cheer when Rusty and the others promised to bring Clyde and Stella next time.

Lincoln still had no idea what he was going to do next time he sees them. He could barely talk to Luna today and that was at home. He knew he promised to keep their identities secret, but that didn't mean he liked it. Don't get him wrong, he still cared for them. It's just all of this was still too much to handle. He wanted more time and space to think it over. And he couldn't do that at home with everything going on over there. This is why he decided to make a little stop before heading home. Currently Lincoln was riding through Tall Timber Park, and he intended to stop at his and Clyde's hideout to get some peace and quiet to think.

Far as places go it wasn't bad, Lincoln and Clyde had some pretty good memories there. Like that one time, they thought the zombie apocalypse happened and they needed someplace safe to regroup. Turns out there wasn't a zombie apocalypse and they let their imagination get the better of them. Still, it was a pretty nice spot.

'I'm also pretty sure I left Bun-Bun there that time Clyde and I had a campout. I'm really worried about that bunny. Hopefully, nothing happened to the little guy.'

The ride through the park calming and brought a smile to Lincoln's face. The sun was starting to set which lit the forest up with beautiful reddish-orange light. Overall, Lincoln could say he had a pretty awesome day. It was good to get out, it took his mind off what was troubling him. At least for a while. Lincoln could see he was getting closer to his hideout causing him to let out a sigh of relief. However, that look of relief quickly turned into shock when he stopped his bike to look at what's in front of him. The boulder covering the entrance to his hideout was pushed to the side revealing the entrance.

'Okay… I'm pretty sure last time I was here that boulder was not there. Which means I forgot about moving it with Clyde or that means there's someone or something very big in my hideout. I really hope it's not the latter.'

Now, a normal person would simply leave and head back home rather than investigating. Sadly, from what you've seen, Lincoln is not a normal person. Against his better judgment, Lincoln got off his bike and place it on the ground along with his helmet on top of it. He then slowly proceeded to sneak his way towards the hideout entrance.

'Please don't be a bear, please don't be a bear, please don't be a freaking bear!'

Lincoln made it to the entrance, he slowly peeked his head out to get a good look inside. What he saw really shocked him, instead of seeing a bear or something sleeping in there. He saw what looked to be an injured Power Ranger. A Power Ranger that resembled the Red Mighty Morphin Ranger, only he wore dark armor that looked like a singed black. He didn't look very heroic, in fact, he looked downright scary.

"Who goes there…"

The Power Ranger's voice sounded weak but very deep and otherworldly. Not to mention very terrifying. Lincoln quickly pulled his head back and hid. His heart was beating rather fast, he couldn't help but feel scared.

"I'll ask once more… who goes there?"

Lincoln didn't know what to do. Should he run and get on his bike and take off? Should he come out and reveal himself? That really sounded crazy since that guy looked like the Jason Voorhees of Power Rangers. Still, he looked like a Power Ranger which means he's a good guy. After thinking about it, Lincoln did something he didn't know would change his life forever. With a nervous expression and shaky legs, Lincoln walked out and waved nervously at the mysterious Power Ranger.

"Um, hey… you need any help?"

The Power Ranger turned his head towards Lincoln, revealing his damaged visor that shined against the fading sunlight.

"A child…"

Guess not all Power Rangers get a happily ever after, nor does it last. Zordon of Eltar, the one who brought forth the original Power Rangers makes an appearance along with The Emissaries Three in The Morphing Grid. They appeared in BOOM! Comics if you can't recognize them. It looks like things are being observed by those in The Morphing Grid. It also looks like the Morphin Masters and the Grid itself are responsible for all of this. How come and why will be revealed eventually.

Finally, Lincoln meets the mysterious injured Power Ranger. If you're still wondering who this mysterious Power Ranger that even Zordon is wary of. I highly recommend you check out Power Rangers Unworthy. All will be revealed in the next chapter.

I plan for more Power Rangers, villains, and characters to appear. Like I said last time that's why I went with legacy. You've already seen those who have shown up, expect more in the coming chapters. If you have any suggestions for returns leave them in a review or PM. I do love feedback and suggestions.

It'll be a while before I update, in the meantime, I highly suggest you read these recommendations for other fanfics related to Power Rangers or The Loud House.

"Gigant By The Siege Perilous"

If love Tokusatsu or Toku media, which is like Power Rangers and Super Sentai. I think you should give this a read. The author is a personal favorite of mine, his fanfics are always fun to read. He's one of the writers to inspire me to write this sort of story. I'd appreciate it if you looked at his stories, the guy is an amazing writer and is underappreciated.

"The Last Ranger By KiddoIsTheBest"

A dark, fun, and compelling fanfic for Power Ranger and My Hero Academia fans. Basically, It's where Lord Drakkon won and killed many of the Power Rangers. Resulting in our Tommy Oliver sending his Master Morpher to the MHA universe where Izuku Midoriya finds it. Now Izuku is The Last Ranger with villains from his universe and Lord Drakkon's forces gunning for him. Another story and writer that inspired me to write this. Please go check this fanfic out, you won't regret it.

"Loud Ranger SPD By Alphamon Burstmode X"

One of the first Power Rangers and Loud House fanfics I read. It's what inspired me to write this too. It takes place during SPD obviously, but Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are The Red and Yellow SPD Rangers respectively. It's also a No Such Luck AU which is one of my favorite AUs to write and read. You should really check it out.

Please be sure to check out these fanfics and their writers, they are really great and underappreciated.

Well, that all for now folks. I really appreciate you all reading my fanfic. I still got a long way to go, but I'm glad to be a fanfic writer. Don't forget to leave a review or PM me. See ya!
