Chapter 10: Well When Else Are They Going to Relax?!

The U.A. Sports Festival is over. Satoshi leads the charge as the students of class 1-A are ready to begin the next step. School life will resume again as the class discovers new tasks and challenges. With all eyes on Class 1-A, how will the students fare with the new expectations the world has given them?

Let the chapter begin…

Following the events of the last chapter:

(Later that day, in the 1-A classroom)

"Alright students, the Sports Festival is over and you have all done well," Aizawa said in a muffled voice, the bandages wrapped around his face made it hard to be concise with his words, "You will have the rest of the week off, so we will be back at school next Monday. I'm sure that most of you will be receiving invitations from Pro Heroes for the incoming internships that begin next Wednesday. I will tell you more about that when we return to school on Monday."

The students all looked at him with different expressions, but chief among them was excitement.

They were excited to finally begin this part of the course

"That is all, class dismissed, have a good short break."

(In the Ketchum Residence)

It was a busy Saturday afternoon, Satoshi had spent the long break home with his parents. He learned a few tricks and fighting techniques from Gen and was in the middle of a workout session. Currently doing pull-ups in his room, Satoshi has not stopped training, even though he won the Sports Festival.

"Satoshi, come down here please!" Hanako hollered up the stairs.

"We have a surprise for you," Gen added as he held a navy-blue box in his palms.

"Give me... just a minute! 90…91…92! I'm almost... done," Satoshi answered as he completed his routine in a few moments and grabbed a towel. Running downstairs, he greeted his parents.

"You smell," Hanako teased as she pinched her nose, feigning a disgusted expression.

"You try smelling good after an hour-long workout session mom," Satoshi poked his tongue out as he stood across his parents, "what did you guys need me for?"

"Your mother and I had this requested for you ever since you started studying at U.A. high school," Gen said as he revealed the box to Satoshi, "this is a gift, to celebrate your success and your growth."

"It's a token of our pride and confidence in you," Hanako explained to her son.

Satoshi took the box and opened it, he saw that it revealed a pair of gloves. The gloves were a navy-blue color with a circular pattern with a yellow outline extending into 3 yellow lines, it was eerily similar to Sir Aaron's gloves that Satoshi has seen when they visited the Aura village a few days ago.

"Is this what I think it is?" Satoshi gasped, "no way! These are not Sir Aaron's gloves right?"

"Not quite, you're not ready for that yet," Gen responded.

"These were used by your father when he trained in the village, and he used them when he was still a hero-in-training in Tokyo," Hanako said.

"Wow, that is so cool, but… mine works just fine, and also, why do the gloves look different?" Satoshi asked.

"I had it modified by the village elders during my visit in March," Gen stated, "the gloves can help you channel Aura energy quicker than usual."

"That's super helpful!" Satoshi stated, "though it feels heavier than I remember."

"Come outside, I'll show you something," Gen said as he lead the family outside, the trio followed him as they reached a modified outdoor battlefield with many exercising equipment and facilities.

"You might want to put the gloves on," Gen advised as Satoshi put on the gloves and was delighted to find that they were a perfect fit.

"Okay, what's up?" Satoshi asked as Gen's right hand balled into a fist that glowed a light-blue hue, and he charged at him suddenly.

"What?! Wait? What are you-" Satoshi stammered as he channeled power into his hands and held it in front of him, taking the attack in front of him. The punch was super powerful and sent shock waves down the field, blowing the small shrubbery around.

Satoshi was blown back due to Gen's attack, but surprisingly, the effects of the punch felt minimal to what he should have felt. Satoshi looked at the gloves and gasped.

"Woah, these gloves are super awesome. They're as sturdy as those durability gauntlets, except… well, they feel more comfortable, and they look much better too," Satoshi exclaimed, "though you could have given me a warning, how strong was that punch again?!"

"40% of my full power?" Gen responded with a cheeky smile.

"THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH POWER!" Satoshi yelled furiously.

"As you can see, the gloves are more durable than when I used them, so you can be more reckless when you go for melee attacks, or when you have to defend them," Gen explained with a smirk, "additionally, I integrated a nifty material that doubles as shock absorption into the gloves, taking after the monster that attacked you and your classmates," his face darkened a bit as he said it.

Satoshi lowered his head as he placed his hand on his abdomen, remembering the horrific experience he had. He quickly dismissed that feeling and shook it off.

"Thank you guys so much, this means a lot."

"Of course son, hopefully, this encourages you in your path to becoming the best, you have grown so much since we last saw you." Hanako said," We are very proud of you and your accomplishments, and we look forward to seeing more of your growth in your time studying at U.A."

"I will do my best, mom, dad. I won't disappoint you," Satoshi responded with a smile on his face.

"We love to hear it. Will you be meeting Serena today?" Hanako asked the boy, who took off the gloves.

"No, Serena wanted to spend some time with her mother as they are visiting some of her family," Satoshi responded quickly, "they won't be back until the evening."

"Oh well, we had something designed for her, we believe it can help her with her quirk," Hanako retrieved a green box and gave it to Satoshi, "do give her our love."

"What is it?" Satoshi inquired.

"It's a gift for her, and you can't look at what it is yet," Hanako smirked as she took the box from Satoshi with a speed that the raven-haired boy hasn't seen in a long time.

"Mom, your speed," Satoshi beamed, "man I haven't seen you guys use your quirks in a while."

"Satoshi, you have the best of both our worlds," Hanako stated as she placed her hand on the teen's head.

"You guys loved each other, right?" Satoshi asked suddenly, "when you married each other all those years ago?"

"Of course we did Satoshi," Gen answered in a surprised tone, "why are you asking this out of the blue?"

"It's just, my classmate… was born from a quirk marriage," Satoshi explained as he recalled the conversation he had with Shoto a few days ago, "their family suffered a lot due to that, and he has a lot of conflict in him," Satoshi continued.

Gen sighed as he gestured for the group to sit down.

"I can't say much for that, we haven't heard of this parent's actions, but from what you said, I am personally not a fan of what was done, but it is what it is," Gen stated.

"It's horrible, what quirk marriages have done in the past, but your father and I are not like that," Hanako said.

"Our village used to have a law, a very backward and limiting law," Gen started, "to preserve the flow of Aura and the ancestry of our people, we weren't allowed to marry people outside of the village."

"Your father and I met when your father was hunting in the forest. I was in a pinch from being attacked, and he helped me," Hanako added, "he brought me back to the village, and over time, we changed what happened in there, and we became the first married couple in that village to be from different backgrounds."

"Really?" Satoshi asked, "that sounds awesome."

"I don't have much else to add, but I definitely would not have gone through all that effort to defy my elders if I didn't love your mother," Gen said, "that's a truth you can count on."

Satoshi looked at them and nodded.

"Alright, enough with this mopey talk. I have some good news," Gen started, "I talked to Gran Torino and All Might, and they have allowed me to work with them if it means helping train you and assist with their patrols.

"What about your job now?" Hanako asked.

"The job is currently on hold. I have cleared this with the village elders," Gen explained, "they allowed it."

"That's good to know," Satoshi responded.

"Anyways, I heard you were doing some training," Gen offered with a smirk, "think you're good enough to match me? Wanna see how your champion status matches up against your old man?!"

"Oh yeah, I've been waiting for the day that I am proficient enough to rub that smirk off your face." Satoshi challenged as he followed Gen outside.

Sigh, what a bunch of boys. Hanako laughed as she walked outside and spectated the competition.

(Later that day, with Serena in her room)

Serena had returned home from her trip with Saki and was currently checking her email. Amidst the scrolling was a surprised and happy expression as the honey-blonde had received an unbelievable amount of emails from different Pro Hero agencies around the country.

One such email caught her eye.

Dear Serena Yvonne-san,

Greetings, I am the No.9 Hero, Ryukyu, the Dragon Hero.

I was one of the Pro Heroes who worked as a patrol at the U.A. Sports Festival. After seeing your performance and your abilities, I would like to formally and cordially invite you to intern at my agency, the Ryukyu Agency.

You will find the contact information, location, and other details in the attached file, please let me or your homeroom teacher know if you are interested in coming to intern for us.

I hope you the best in the future,

The Dragon Hero, Ryuka 'Ryukyu' Tatsuma

Serena leaned back and rubbed her eyes. As dry as they were, Serena did not feel much discomfort. She exhaled deeply and looked at her phone. It's been hours since she checked it and she smiled as she saw a message from Satoshi.

'Hope your family visit was fun. I'm sorting out internship emails, they are a hassle. I have something for you courtesy of my parents, I'll give it to you tomorrow when we meet for the class trip. See you then. Love you tons.' -Satoshi

Oh right, the class trip is tomorrow. Serena blinked as she put her phone away and stretched herself.

She stood up and tidied up her desk when she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in," Serena answered.

"Hey Serena, you've been scrolling through your mailbox the whole evening," Saki stated as she popped her head into her daughter's room, "care to join me downstairs?"

"Sure!" Serena said as she shut her laptop and followed her mother downstairs.

"So mom, what's up?" Serena asked as the duo sat down on the couch.

"I just wanted to make sure you're not overwhelmed," Saki said as she placed a hand on Serena's head. She began to smile as Serena looked at her with a confused gaze.

"What now mom?" Serena pouted, "I don't like to be teased."

"No it's just, you're so grown up now. I'm so proud of you, and you're not the little Serena that I have to hold the hand of anymore," Saki replied.

"It's all because you raised me well mom," Serena responded.

Saki grinned as she leaned back into the couch, stretching and making herself comfortable.

"So, you've been in your room all evening," Saki asked with a curious expression, "I gather that you had a lot of emails to go through, so which Hero Agencies offer are you considering?"

Serena lowered her head and recollected her reading, there was one that she was set on.

I'll probably go with that one.

"Hmm, well, many of them appealed to me in different ways, but there was one particular agency that caught my eye," Serena replied.

"Oh, which one?" Saki asked.

"It's a secret," Serena teased as she placed a finger on her lips as Saki had her hands on her hips, "you'll be the first one to know, I promise."

"I'll hold you to it," Saki responded with a gentle smile.

"By the way mom," Serena asked, "our class is going into the city to hang out tomorrow, is it okay if I go? We might be out the whole day, but Satoshi said that he will take me home as soon as we are done."

"Will you be back for dinner?" Saki asked.

"Yes, but I might be a bit late," Serena replied, "I'll have Satoshi drop me off."

"That sounds like fun, you can go then. I certainly hope you all have a good one," Saki replied with a smile as Serena cheered loudly and quickly pulled her into an embrace.

Saki smiled as her daughter ran up to her room quickly, she shook her head in an amused manner and went back to watching the TV.

After all, when else were they going to relax?

(The next day at 10 am)

"Satoshi, Serena! Over here!" Momo waved as she waited with Shoto by the Tatooin Metro Station.

"Woah, you guys are early," Serena exclaimed as she walked forward to greet her friend.

"We thought we would be early, turns out we were beaten." Satoshi chuckled as he joined them.

"I don't get to go out much, I usually end up studying in my room and being a lame bookworm," Momo replied with a sheepish grin, "so I'm just really excited is all."

"So am I," Satoshi said as he flashed a plane ticket out, "by the way, would any of you like this?"

"Are those plane tickets for I-Island?" Shoto asked as Satoshi gave them a quick nod, "I was planning on representing my family so I have a few tickets already. I'm thinking of inviting the guys to join me."

"Oh, fair enough, I forgot that you have family influences that allow you to go," Satoshi rubbed the back of his head embarrassingly.

"Hmm, perhaps Izuku would like to have it?" Momo suggested.

"Right, I forgot about him," Satoshi deadpanned as he felt incredibly dumb at the moment.

"I'm so incredibly hurt," a voice came from behind them as Izuku, Tenya, Tsuyu, and Ochaco had arrived.

"Hey, y'all!" Serena waved at them as the group exchanged greetings.

"So would you like a ticket Izuku?" Satoshi asked as he offered the ticket.

"I'm going with a friend," Izuku responded.

"Well, what about you girls?" Satoshi asked Ochaco and Tsuyu.

"We were invited by Tenya. He had extra tickets due to his family being invited and he offered to take me and Ochaco," Tsuyu stated.

"I know Kacchan doesn't have a ticket, so maybe give it to him?" Izuku suggested.

"I'm not giving him my ticket," Satoshi responded with a stern look, appalled by the notion, "I'm still sour about him insulting my Serechi. Just to be clear, he insulted you too."

"Ehhh, tell me something that I don't know," Izuku chuckled as the group joined him, "he's just like that, but Kacchan has always wanted to go to I-Island. Maybe he'll think he owes you."

"Oh come one, this is Katsuki we're talking about," Satoshi protested.

"Yeah, maybe if he OWNS Satoshi," Ochaco giggled with an emphasis on the last 3 words, "but him owing Satoshi? Can't see him admitting that in a million years."

"Fair point," Izuku shook his head as he facepalmed.

"But seriously though, I-Island wouldn't be fun without everyone being there, so maybe give it a thought Ketchum?" Tenya said.

"I'm all over him insulting us anyways," Serena added, "if anything I'm used to it now, there's no need to hold grudges Satobean."

"Alright, I'll think about it," Satoshi said, "but only because you guys asked nicely."

"Hey look, more of us are here!" Momo pointed as several 1-A students began to walk toward them.

The group waved at one another and departed for their first destination, where they will be meeting up with Denki, Eijiro, Katsuki, and Hanta.

(30 minutes later)

The group had met up with their friends near Naruhata Ward. As the class had agreed, they decided to make their way toward the nearby theme park.

"So…what about it?" Serena asked Satoshi as she pulled them back a bit.

"What about what? I don't like that look," Satoshi asked with the most amused expression.

"You know," Serena gestured towards a certain raven-haired girl and heterochromic teen.

"Okay, I am not playing matchmaker today," Satoshi whispered, "I want to enjoy my time with my friends, not play a game of 'cupid' that may or may not end well for us."

"Oh, come on Satobean! Shoto and Yaomomo like each other, we should try to at least probe their development towards a good place right?" Serena pleaded.

"Given our track history, that may not be the best idea," Satoshi pointed out, "you turned me down the first time I asked you out, remember?"

"Yeah, I do remember that…"

"And the second time,"

"Right, that too."

"And the third time… the fourth time, and so on,"

"Okay, I get it, but let's just try…" Serena shook her head.

"Oh, and that time after I helped you with the bully… and that other time 3 years before we got together."

"You kept count of all of that?" Serena asked in a confused manner.

"And a few more times after that," Satoshi added, demonstrating his point.

"Fine, I get it! If you're not going to help me, then I'll just do it myself," Serena huffed as she turned her face away from Satoshi. The raven-haired teen chuckled as his girlfriend was irritated with his refusal to work with her.

"Okay, but let's make a bet. If you can get Yaomomo and Shoto on a date, or together, by the end of today, then I owe you 2000 yen," Satoshi offered, "and if you fail, then you owe me 2000 yen."

"Deal!"

(With Izuku, Ochaco, Tenya, Momo, and Shoto)

The group had gotten together and were excited to see the activities in the theme park become visible. The group was so close to the ticket gate that they were thinking about sprinting.

"Deku! Look at that, it's huge! We're not far from the theme park now, I'm so excited!" Ochaco pointed at a roller-coaster that extended for a long distance, there were many curves, and the tracks made went up and down and through a lot of different spins.

"It has so many spins and drops, I wonder if people can stand it?" Izuku exclaimed.

"This could be a good chance for you to practice your quirk Ochaco, but obviously without using it while you're on the roller coaster," Shoto suggested.

"That sounds like a decent idea," Momo added as she placed a thumb on her chin, indicating that she is present in a train of thought.

"Yaomomo, would you like to go on the roller coaster ride with me?"

Momo was surprised by the invitation from the heterochromic teen. Shades of red invaded her cheeks, but she was happy and delighted to accept the offer.

"I would love that Shoto, though I worry I may be a buzzkill on the ride," Momo said.

"Not on this one you won't Yaomomo, it's the largest roller coaster in Japan, perhaps even in the world," Tenya informed the group proudly, "my brother Tensei had just been on it a few weeks ago for his rest day, and he said it he was thoroughly thrilled by its intensity."

"Really?" Ochaco asked excitedly as Izuku squirmed a bit.

"Sounds like you know a lot about roller coasters, it must be intense then," Shoto pointed out, "given the fact that you and your brother have to travel at such high speeds, I'd think that you would be used to it now."

"One of the ways Tensei practiced," Tenya said as he created air quotes with his hands, "getting used to his speed is through the roller coaster experience, so I have experienced them too at a young age."

"So he built a tolerance for this activity, yet this ride was still enough to faze him?" Izuku asked.

"Oh it got him good," Tenya answered with a chuckle, "I'll never forget the expression on his face and the excitement of going again afterward."

"Wow, he does like roller coaster rides…" Momo stated.

"Yep," Tenya replied, "I'll have you know that my brother does not scare easy, so that means a lot when he is genuinely surprised by the overall ride experience."

"Well, we have to go now!" Momo and Shoto chanted as they both walked faster towards the gate.

(One roller coaster ride later)

"My… my legs… I can't feel my legs," Izuku and Ochaco muttered, their bodies trembling as they tried their best not to give in to the pull of gravity.

The group had just gotten off the ride, and the shaking duo has been like this ever since. Shoto and Momo, however, we're much better off as they shook off the chills they got from the roller coaster effortlessly.

Satoshi and Serena joined the group and decided to hang out with them. Much to Satoshi's reluctance, Serena had dragged him to play matchmaker.

"That was fun!" Momo said as she danced around Shoto, "thanks for inviting me to do this with you!"

"My pleasure, would you like to do some other things with me?" Shoto asked nonchalantly as the rest of the group raised an eyebrow at the ill-phrased question.

"Uhhh… w-what do you mean… d-do things w-with you? We're too, too young for that…" Momo's face flushed in a red that rivaled Eijiro's hair. She was in a trance in what one could describe as the 'Izuku special'.

"GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER YAOMOMO!" Satoshi hollered as he smacked the raven-haired girl on the head forcefully, breaking her out of her trance.

Shoto looked bewildered as Serena pulled him aside and whispered into his ear. Shoto looked at her and nodded, then walked towards the newly grown tomato.

"Momo I'm sorry. I misspoke," Shoto scratched the back of his head, "what I meant to say was this: would you want to go on a date with me?!"

Serena smirked as the other 4 wore blank expressions on their faces.

"Come again?!"

(One hour later)

"See! I told you it would work!" Serena chanted proudly as she puffed her chest proudly, "now pay up!"

"Okay, fair enough. You win this round." Satoshi grinned as he reached for his pocket and produced the tally, handing it to the victor.

"Ah, the sweet sensation of victory, and more pocket money!" Serena grinned, "now we get them two," Serena pointed at a brown-haired and green-haired teen.

"You go get em' champ, you don't need me for this!" Satoshi smirked.

"That's probably not true, they are a much tougher nut to crack!" Serena said, "between Izuku's shy personality and Ochaco's passivity. This may prove a hard task."

"Fine, I'll think of something but let's not force it," Satoshi advised, "also you've been hanging out with Mina too much, she's rubbing off of you."

"Is that a bad thing?" Serena asked playfully.

"Probably just a tad bit."

(With Denki, Eijiro, and Katsuki)

"Oh, come on, you small fries seriously need to toughen up!" Katsuki yelled as he utilized his skill with great efficiency to catch yet another target.

The trio was in a grueling battle of patience, endurance, and skill. All of which results in the pinnacle of all that their society and nation hold to esteem.

The title of the "Goldfish champion".

"I'm done with this. How are you able to catch so many goldfish?" Denki asked.

"The better question is, how are you guys unable to? This is like the easiest and most accessible activity on the whole damn continent," Katsuki stated, "like, every country in Asia has this leisure activity, it's a shame not to be able to catch goldfish properly."

No, we just don't expect someone with your temperament to be able to catch them.

"HEY, BOSS! There are no more goldfish!" Katsuki yelled, "prize please!"

The store owner walked over and checked Katsuki's bowl. He was thoroughly impressed as he walked to the back of the stall. He returned with a collection of weights and dumped them right by Katsuki and handed him a compressible bag, he explained how the weights could fit into the bag and congratulated the blonde teen.

"Okay, what's next?" Katsuki asked.

"We're supposed to meet with the group in 10 minutes so let's get going," Eijiro said as Katsuki grunted, following the duo reluctantly.

The trio walked towards the rendezvous point and gathered with the rest of the class.

"YAOMOMO?! AND SHOTO?! TOGETHER?!" Mina chanted as she was over the moon, "wait! When the heck did this happen?!"

"Uhh, just now?!" Shoto answered with a blank expression, "I asked Yaomomo out on a date and she said yes, so that's that."

"But are you two together or?" Tsuyu pressed as the rest of the class was eager to know the answer.

Shoto and Momo looked at one another and Shoto gestured to Momo to answer.

"We're still figuring everything out, so nothing is set in stone," Momo answered, "we're deciding if this will get in the way of us being Heroes. We are also planning on consulting our resident couple." she pointed towards Satoshi and Serena.

"Fair enough. That sounds like a mature thing to do, we must be diligent in our approach to relationships as future Pro Heroes," Tenya remarked.

"Whatever choice you two make, know that you have the full support of everyone here!" Mezo added as the rest of the class agreed with him.

"I will bake the most delicious cakes for you all when we do get the good news!" Rikido gave the duo a thumbs up as they laughed happily.

"Is it okay to ask for some soon?" Minoru asked playfully as the class continued to make their way through the theme park.

It wasn't long before they found an activity that greatly interested the quintet of Katsuki, Izuku, Satoshi, Eijiro, and Shoto.

It was some good old-fashioned competition, one that all 5 of these guys loved.

"Alright, who will be the next to challenge the 'trial of the day' event!" The MC announced, "in this activity, we will allow you to temporarily use your quirk so you can blast through all the faux villains within a reasonable time limit."

The aforementioned trial is located in a location set with a multitude of natural environments. There was a pond right next to the start area that was surrounded by mountains, forests, and a desert. Immobile machines were scattered across the various locations, seemingly waiting to be attacked.

"Hmph, finally something up my speed," Shoto stated.

"You're speaking my language, Half-and-Half bastard," Katsuki smirked.

"Looks like we're in a competition, this is super manly! Oi, you up for this Izuku?" Eijiro asked the green-haired teen with a determined look on his face.

"Of course I am. Anyone else wanna join?" Izuku turned to the rest of the class, all of which declined to join.

"You sure Serena? You don't want a piece of this?" Satoshi asked.

"No thanks, I'm not intruding on this testosterone-filled sausage fest you guys have going on there," Serena responded playfully, "just go have some fun, you guys!"

"That we can do," Satoshi grinned as the group walked towards the MC to register their names and quirk.

"Well, would you look at that! It seems we have some special visitors today. U.A. High's Class 1-A. Allow me to introduce to you the second-place holder for the Sports Festival, Katsuki Bakugo. He will be doing this challenge first."

Katsuki walked towards the area, awaiting the go order.

Once he was clear to go, he quickly zoomed across the pond with his explosions and blasted one of the faux villains, while yelling 'die' as he zoomed forward. The blonde teen changed his trajectory by willing his body to flip mid-air, propelling himself around the rest of the field, allowing him to clear the field in no time.

"Amazing! Bakugo has cleared the field in an impressive 17.46 seconds," The MC hollered, "that's a new record today ladies and gentlemen!"

Katsuki landed on the ground next to Izuku, "your turn nerd, let's see what you're made of."

"That was so manly of you Katsuki!" Eijiro acknowledged.

"That was nothing for me, Shitty Hair," Katsuki sneered as he walked away.

Izuku stared at him before moving forward, entering the starting area.

"Looks like we're being hailed by the 4th place holder next, Izuku Midoriya. Let's get excited about what kind of result he will be showing us!"

Izuku channeled energy from OFA, as green streaks of lightning began to envelop him.

One For All! Full Cowling!

He zoomed across the field and slammed all of the robots down with incredible speed, becoming faster and faster. But for all his speed, he was just a bit short of Katsuki.

I have to be faster! Izuku thought as he created an air blast with his fingers that detonated several robots at once.

"What a run! Midoriya has completed it in 18.46 seconds, just a second slower than Bakugo," The MC announced, "this class is all full of superstars, what the heck?!"

Izuku landed on the field and walked by Katsuki, who glared at him.

"Not bad, Shitty nerd, still not as fast as I am though."

Izuku was puzzled since that was not something that was meant to insult him. He wondered if Katsuki was showing him respect.

No, it can't be. It's Kacchan after all.

The rest of the 3 students quickly completed their run. Shoto stood at the top with 11.11 seconds of eliminating all of the faux, followed by Satoshi who scored 15.57 seconds, then Katsuki, Izuku, and finally Eijiro with 19.32 seconds.

The teens regrouped and had a good laugh as the rest of the class congratulated Shoto. Fearing the media and the coverage from them, they decided to scurry before any members appeared before them as they did not want them to inquire about their personal lives. Fearing their large numbers would attract too much attention, the class decided to split up and go to different events.

(With Satoshi, Mashirao, Rikido, Mezo, Toru, and Koji)

"I have to admit, I don't usually spend time with you guys. This is a refreshing change of pace," Satoshi said as the group was currently walking through a couple of stalls that sold food.

"It is nice to go out and have some fun, I don't usually have many friends who appreciate me," Mezo confessed.

"What do you mean? You're a wonderful person," Rikido protested.

"Most people get scared of my appearance before they get introduced to my personality, unfortunately," Mezo responded with a helpless expression.

"Well, I for one think you are very cool, right Koji?" Toru asked as she waved her hands around the shy student, who did his best not to faint due to the attention.

"You're a man of many words," Satoshi pointed out as Koji looked down with embarrassment.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to poke fun at you…" Satoshi quickly waved his hands in front of him and immediately apologized to Koji, "I just.. don't talk to you that much, but I hope we can get to know each other better."

Koji shook his head and smiled.

"Hey look, it's a petting zoo!" Toru hollered as she ran forward to a venue with various domesticated animals. The rest of the students were delighted as they followed her enthusiasm.

Toru and Mashirao visited the area designated for petting birds, many of which are still chicks. Some of them were active and were curious about Mashirao's tail. One particular bird landed on his tail and began to poke and peck around his tail.

"I wonder what this one is up to now," Mashirao stated in a puzzled manner as the chick's actions affected him in a little way.

"Perhaps it thinks that your tail is a tree branch?" Toru mused, "that's the only reason I can think of."

Mashirao chuckled as he placed his finger under the chicks beak stroking it gently. The chick started to flap its wings as a sign of enjoyment as Toru joined Mashirao in patting it. The chick turned around to see that nothing was behind it, and was worried. It rotated its head in all directions trying to find what had made contact with its head.

"I think the chick is confused about what is touching it, it probably doesn't know about your quirk," Mashirao stated, earning a snicker from Toru.

"I guess maybe I should turn my quirk off for once then, if I knew how to, of course," Toru suggested playfully.

"That… would be one way to go about it," Mashirao stated plainly, "or… you could just stop touching it."

"But I want to pet them!"

At another side of the petting zoo, Satoshi and Koji were hanging around some rabbits. Satoshi attempted to hug one but it struggled out of Satoshi's hands and walked away, standing next to him.

"Looks like this guy doesn't want to be hugged huh," Satoshi sighed as he eyed Koji nearby, the shy boy sat on the ground and had a few rabbits on his arms and legs.

"This must be nice," Satoshi said as he walked by him, "so your quirk makes it so you can talk to them, but can you also understand what they are saying?"

Koji gave him a swift nod as he fed the rabbits some leaves provided by the petting zoo.

"I- can understand… I need that information to scout areas and do recon," he responded.

"Huh, that's good to know, if you want to know some tricks that can benefit quick awareness, I would love to trade notes with you sometime," Satoshi offered as he pondered the implications of Koji's quirk.

Satoshi continued to look at the rabbits. His expression was slightly disappointed that the rabbit didn't like him.

"Hold rabbit… like this, they like it when you hold them in… a specific way," Koji demonstrated the holding position he had so the rabbit felt comfortable. Satoshi observed his actions and followed them, and soon, the rabbit that was struggling earlier was snuggled fearlessly on Satoshi's legs.

"Wow Koji, thanks for the advice. That was illuminating," Satoshi praised as the young boy scratched his head in embarrassment.

(An hour later with Izuku and Satoshi)

Satoshi was currently perusing a couple of overpriced, yet fascinating stuffed animals when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Oh hey," Satoshi greeted as a green-haired teen flashed a trademark smile at him.

"So?" Izuku asked.

"So… what?" Satoshi asked with a puzzled expression.

"Did you decide on what to do with the I-Island ticket?" Izuku asked the raven-haired boy.

"No, not really, I asked most of the class. All of them have made arrangements to go except for Katsuki, who didn't bother responding to my question," Satoshi replied quickly, "him being rude is not helping his case with regards to me giving him the ticket."

"Well, if you have no one else to give it to, why not to Katsuki?" Izuku asked.

"I would much rather give it to Mei," Satoshi responded,

"I know Tetsutetsu but who is Mei?" Izuku asked, trying to remember who the person Satoshi is talking about was.

"Mei Hatsume, the pink-haired student in the support course," Satoshi responded quickly, "she participated in the Sports Festival?"

"Oh her," Izuku said as he had an idea of who Satoshi was talking about, "but why would you give the ticket to someone who's not in our class, and to someone that most of us don't know?"

"Because she's not an insufferable jerk?"

Izuku was a bit bothered and slightly angry that Satoshi had that reaction.

"You're still holding onto that?" Izuku demanded, "come on, when did pettiness get the better of you?"

"Are you suggesting that he has changed?" Satoshi retorted, silencing Izuku once again, "because I have no patience for bullies or for people who think of themselves as better than the rest."

"So you can do it but he can't?" Izuku asked.

Satoshi glared at Izuku with an expression that scared the green-haired teen.

"I'm gonna let that slide because we are friends," Satoshi stated, "First of all, I don't go around yelling at everyone all the time; I don't tell people to go 'die'; I don't insult others with nicknames and continue to call them that when they asked me not to; I don't call people useless, especially the people who are better than I am."

"Kacchan doesn't do that," Izuku muttered.

"He calls me a loser, and he has never beaten me," Satoshi said.

"Because he thinks he can beat you," Izuku stated.

"That's beside the point," Satoshi responded, "I proved on multiple occasions that he can't, including today."

"But-"

"He gives me no reason to be nice to him at all," Satoshi began to walk to another stall, "if you want to be nice to him, all power to you. But why should I?"

"Because you want to be a Hero?" Izuku replied.

Satoshi stopped before he clenched his fist.

"That's not a good enough reason," Satoshi responded, "besides, I'm not obligated to give him tickets that I own."

"Can you do it for me?" Izuku asked.

"I'm sorry Izuku, but that's not going to work," Satoshi responded, "besides, I already messaged Mei and she said she would get back to me."

A couple of buzzes on Satoshi's phone indicated that he had received a message.

Hey Satoshi. I have plans to go to I-Island, so I won't be needing the tickets. Thanks for offering, I'll see you there okay?! -Mei

"Who is it?" Izuku asked.

"It's Mei, she has plans to go to I-Island," Satoshi replied, "looks like she won't be needing the ticket."

"Will you-"

"No."

Izuku sighed as he began to walk away.

"Why do you hang out with him still?" Satoshi asked sternly, "I don't understand you, Izuku. Why bother with him when he treats you like garbage?"

"I don't know, to be honest. I've always followed him, so I got attached," Izuku replied.

"Well, it's not healthy for you," Satoshi said, "he doesn't deserve someone like you."

"Maybe that's not for you to decide," Izuku answered quickly.

"Be that as it may, you need to stop tolerating his actions and stop enabling his toxic behavior," Satoshi advised, "stand up for yourself, seriously. You need to stand up for yourself when you deal with him like how you are standing up to me now."

"It's not as simple as you think, Satoshi," Izuku said.

"Yes, it is Izuku. Unless, of course, he is holding a leash over your whole family or he is threatening people's lives," Satoshi stated, "otherwise I don't see a problem."

"But-"

"QUIT MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIM!" Satoshi hollered, startling Izuku and the surrounding people. Satoshi looked around and apologized to the other visiting people before turning right back to Izuku.

"The only reason he does what he does to you is because you ALLOW HIM to," Satoshi said with an angry expression, "look at me, Shoto, and Serena! We don't give him permission to do what he wants, and so he backs off immediately. It's what all bullies do! They mess with you until you stop them, then they know better!"

"I just don't know why you can't see him in a different light," Izuku muttered.

"Why should I?" Satoshi responded immediately, "it's not hard to understand. The guy is cocky, he is rude, and he is mean to me and all my friends. Honestly Izuku, tell me why he deserves a pass. I know I barely know the guy, but all he's shown me is a rotten personality and a morbid fascination for insulting and belittling others."

"Well, when you put it that way..." Izuku mumbled.

"Look, I'm not wasting any more time on this," Satoshi responded coldly, "just do what you want, Izuku, but you tell Katsuki, I will not be his friend unless he changes, at the very least, his attitude towards our class, especially you."

Satoshi began walking away from Izuku, leaving him there pondering.

"You deserve better than what's he doing to you," Satoshi mumbled just loud enough for Izuku to hear.

Izuku looked at Satoshi with a grateful smile, he was happy that his friend was willing to stand up for him.

But to him, this is different.

I can't give up on Kacchan, Satoshi. You don't know him as I do.

(With Class 1-A at the entrance of the theme park)

Satoshi joined the group later as they were preparing to leave the theme park.

"You are way too late!" Minoru yelled as the duo began to apologize to the rest of the class.

"So, this was a fun outing, I'm glad that we got to spend some time together," Hanta said as he had his hands around Denki and Eijiro as the trio was tangled in a bro hug.

"Yeah, it was a good day," Shoto said as he looked towards Momo who smiled at him.

"Get a room," Serena joked as she held Satoshi's hand.

"Look who's talking!" Denki laughed.

"Well it's time to go, see you all tomorrow," Tenya said as the group went their separate ways.

"Well, did you decide what to do with the ticket?" Serena asked the raven-haired teen.

"No, Izuku talked to me about giving it to Katsuki, but I'm not planning on doing that yet," Satoshi replied.

"Well, I won't interfere with your decision. When you figure it out, let me know," Serena smiled.

"Sure, by the way…" Satoshi said as he reached into his shoulder bag and took out a little box, "my mom and dad wanted me to give you this."

Serena accepted the gift from Satoshi and opened it with an excited expression. It was something that Serena had not seen before, it looked like some kind of enforcer.

"What is this?" Serena asked curiously.

"I haven't the slightest idea, my mom made me swear not to open it until you did," Satoshi replied, "but I think she left you some instructions so you can understand how it works."

Serena quickly read the instructions and smiled brightly.

"This is so AWESOME!" Serena yelled, startling Satoshi and the rest of the civilians that were passing by.

"Hey watch it. You're being too loud," Satoshi stated with an annoyed expression.

"Oh, my bad! Sorry!" Serena apologized as she stuck a tongue out.

(The next morning, in the 1-A classroom)

"Man this morning was such a hassle!" Mina complained as she walked into the classroom and slumped down on her desk in front of Tsuyu.

"Yeah tell me about it," Eijiro added, "never have I ever been stopped by so many people. I never thought that being congratulated on my performance in the festival could be such an overwhelming thing to deal with."

"Well, it can't be helped, we're sort of famous now," Tsuyu laughed awkwardly as the group sighed.

"I wonder why we weren't spotted yesterday?" Fumikage mused.

"Perhaps we were all wearing different clothing, and all of us had sunglasses on," Serena stated.

"I couldn't even walk out of my front door without people yelling 'don't mind', it was a nightmare," Hanta placed a hand on his head as he tried his hardest to block that memory out of his mind.

A few moments later the bell ringed and the door opened, with it entered their homeroom teacher.

"Okay, quiet down now," Aizawa said as he walked into the room. The class was both surprised and delighted to see that the bandages around his face have been removed.

"Mr. Aizawa, your bandages?!" Minoru responded with a gasp, and the rest of the class joined him in welcoming their teacher with a warm smile.

They were glad to have some more normalcy in their classroom.

"Are you feeling better?" Tsuyu asked as the class eagerly waited for his answer.

"Yes, I am feeling much better, thanks to Recovery Girl," Aizawa responded, "I am glad to see that you are all well rested and in high spirits because you will need it in the next 2 weeks."

The class was intrigued by what Aizawa was about to say and remained quiet. But one thing was certain, they were glad that their teacher had recovered fully and was healthy again since they were all very worried about the state that their homeroom teacher was in.

"Now then, in light of your recent performances at the Sports Festival, it has come to my attention that many hero agencies are pleased with what you have displayed," Aizawa started, "I have asked the teachers to collect all the offers that were sent to you this past few days. I am sure that some of you have also received a surplus of emails, but I have a tally for the number of offers that some of you have received.

Aizawa turned around to release a holographic cube that hovered above him. Names of the Class 1-A students began to appear with numbers appearing beside them.

There were many reactions to the numbers, but chief among them was joy and relief as the students gasped and cheered at the sight of their names.

Satoshi Ketchum: 3563

Shoto Todoroki: 2582

Katsuki Bakugo: 2031

Serena Yvonne: 1437

Izuku Midoriya: 953

Fumikage Tokoyami: 787

Momo Yaoyorozu: 641

Tenya Iida: 535

Tsuyu Asui: 449

Eijiro Kirishima: 367

Ochaco Uraraka: 255

Denki Kaminari: 179

Mina Ashido: 84

Hanta Sero: 24

"As you can all see, the winner of the Sports Festival, Satoshi, has quite the number of invitations," Aizawa said, "but all of you who have performed exceptionally have been invited to study in internships under established Hero agencies."

Numerous students reacted with happy or surprised looks on their faces. Among them was a honey-blonde-haired girl who stared at the screen with a confused face.

Woah, I have so many invites! Serena thought as her mind wandered in many directions.

No wonder it took her such a long time to get everything looked over, turns out she had over a thousand emails.

"I…I have…over 9-900 emails? W-what? Am I…dreaming? Mom…All Might…I…I did it!"

Serena saw a surprised Izuku as he stuttered. The honey blonde-haired girl smiled as she was very happy for her friend. Speaking of being happy, she turned to her boyfriend, who was just silently staring at the number of offers he was sent by the Hero agencies.

"Satoshi!" Serena whispered excitedly as she tried to get his attention. He recovered briefly from his thought bubble and gave her a smile as well as a thumbs up.

The rest of the class also shared in their excitement, all except perhaps Shoto.

"Congrats Shoto, you got so many offers," Momo offered her congratulations as the quiet boy just gave a gentle smile and continued to look forward.

He couldn't help but think that the only reason he received so many offers was his connection to his father, Endeavor. His old man being a part of his success bothered him.

"Now listen up you lot. This is a very important process on your road to becoming a Pro Hero, so pay careful attention to what I am going to say next," Aizawa started speaking as the students slowly recovered from their emotional bubbles and turned their attention to him with serious expressions, "this will carry on for the next three years of your studies, as well as define the first few years of your Pro Hero career."

The class collectively took a deep breath as they gave their attention to their homeroom teacher.

Among them was a raven-haired teen who spared a moment to recollect the last few months. After all the intense training is said and done; after all the struggles and triumphs he had been through, there was still so much that Satoshi had to do to become a Pro Hero.

"With that in mind, I have invited our beloved Midnight sensei to assist you in choosing your Pro-Hero code names, since I'm not the best at choosing one," Aizawa informed the class, "fun fact, I didn't even choose the code name Erasure Head."

The class stared blankly at Aizawa as the door swung open, and their eyes quickly landed on the teacher walking in. Some of the boys caught themselves staring at certain jiggles coming from her body movements. Most of them were sensible enough to avert their gaze, however, a certain purple-haired boy got an eyeful though he was quickly pulled out of his daydream as he was whacked on the head by Serena.

"Alright fellow Heroes in training, as you know, I am Midnight. Today I will be assessing and helping you lot choose your code names," Midnight instructed the class with a troubling smile, "while they are important, please understand that these are not permanent, and you can always change them at any time if you so wish."

"I place them in your care now, Midnight," Aizawa said as he squeezed into his sleeping bag and rolled toward the corner of the room. The class snickered quietly as Midnight walked around the room while handing everyone a canvas to write their code name on. When everyone got one, she motioned them to start writing their code names down.

Many students started writing down desirable code names. Some of them started to think about cool names, while others struggled to create an idea. One couple had no such troubles. Serena had already discussed her desired code names in the past, and she has an idea about what she wanted hers to be. Without much hesitation, she wrote her code name down.

It's gotta be this. Serena thought as she wrote down hers and peeked at Satoshi. The raven-haired teen had just put his pen down and looked towards her, grinning widely. The duo blew kisses towards each other and turned their gazes toward their respective canvas'.

Midnight monitored the progress of the students, and as she observed the completion of most students, she walked to the front of the class and addressed the class.

"Alright, now it is time for me to assess your code names," Midnight stated, "please come present your name at the front of the class."

The class collectively froze as the words exited Midnight's mouth.

Do we have to present them to the class?

One individual was very keen to volunteer. Strutting and showing off his Magnifique blonde hair, Yuga Aoyama walked towards the front of the class eagerly. He held his canvas over his head proudly before announcing his code name.

"My code name is 'I Cannot Stop Twinkling'," Yuga chanted as the class looked at him with the most surprising expressions while Midnight was trying to hold back the urge to laugh by covering her mouth.

This kid knows what he wants. I like that, he has a lot of confidence.

"Aoyama, your code name is a bit too long, perhaps you should remove the 'I' and add a contraction for 'can not'," Midnight suggested, "that way you get 'Can't Stop Twinkling' as your code name."

Yuga nodded as he quickly edited his name based on the suggestions of his teacher, he then bowed in gratitude and went back to his seat.

Next, Serena came up with her canvas and held it in front of her.

"My code name is 'Element Hero: Elementi', which I have thought about for a long time," Serena said as she looked toward Satoshi and grinned.

"Wonderful, what a cool name! It captures the essence of your quirk perfectly, great job Serena!" Midnight acknowledged with a bright smile as the class.

"Like Serena, I have also been thinking about this code name for a while," Tsuyu said as she revealed what she wrote on her canvas, "I have decided that my code name would be 'Rainy Season Hero: Froppy'."

"That's such a cute nickname, good on you!" Midnight cheered as the rest of the class applauded her.

Eijiro came up and presented his name.

"I will be 'Sturdy Hero: Red Riot'," he said with a wide grin.

"Red Riot? Like Crimson Riot?" Midnight asked which Eijiro responded with a nod, "you are aware of the weight you carry through imitation?"

"Yes, I have looked up to Crimson Riot for a long time, and I am well aware of the stakes that come with following his footsteps," Eijiro said as he reminisced about watching his role model for many an hour, "I am prepared to take up that heavy responsibility."

"That's good to know, I'm sure that you'll make him proud, as well as all of us," Midnight said with a smile.

Next, Satoshi came up with his canvas and held it in front of him.

"My code name is 'Aura Guardian Hero: Satoshi'," Satoshi said.

"Are you sure you just want your hero name to be 'Satoshi'?" Midnight asked.

"Yes, I am sure," Satoshi responded.

"Very well, if you're fine with that as your Hero name, then it's okay with me," Midnight exclaimed.

Satoshi smiled and returned to his seat as the class applauded Satoshi for his code name.

The rest of the class walked forward and presented their code names, some of them were rejected due to the names being either too inappropriate or too 'scary' according to Midnight. At the end of the day, most of them were accepted and the students were glad to have their code names accepted.

Finally, it was Izuku, Tenya, and Katsuki's turn.

Tenya came up to the front of the class and held up his canvas, on which read 'The Speedy Hero: Tenya', he stood proudly as Midnight evaluated his name and gave a satisfied nod.

"Just Tenya? Not something like your brother? You're the younger brother of Ingenium right?" Midnight said, "he is a great hero and a leader to many, do your best to fit into his shoes."

"They are certainly big shoes to fill, and I don't quite know about that mantle yet, but maybe I'll change it in the future," Tenya responded as he walked towards his seat and sat down.

Katsuki walked up and presented his canvas, having given it some thought, he decided to omit some of the languages that Midnight rejected earlier.

"My name will be 'Great Explosion God: Dynamight', is that good enough?" Katsuki asked, hoping that the damn teacher would just accept his code name.

Seriously? Satoshi thought.

"Still a bit too full of yourself," Midnight commented, "but it's good in my book, you may have this one."

Katsuki smirked as he departed from the front. As he approached his seat, he eyed Izuku who had stood up.

"Don't embarrass yourself with a bad one, shitty nerd," he muttered as the green-haired teen passed him.

When Izuku arrived at the desk, he took a glance at his board, reassuring himself that this was the right choice.

I have to go with this name, it has to be it.

As Izuku flipped the board, his eyes fell on Ochaco, as the rest of the class looked at his code name with a surprised expression.

"Are you sure about that one Izuku? You'll be called that in a long time," Tsuyu asked.

"Yes, I have made my decision, and I am sure about it," Izuku said as his canvas has the word 'Deku' written on it, "this nickname has been hard for me to listen to for a long time, but I met someone who changed its meaning forever, and I owe it to this person to use this as my code name."

Ochaco felt her heart skip a beat. Did he choose his code name, because of me?

Satoshi was smiling as he knew what this meant, he knew how much Ochaco meant to Izuku, and it made him happy to see him be upfront about it.

Katsuki meanwhile looked down as he was hiding his frustrations from the class.

"This is a wonderful name, full of meaning. I like it!" Midnight said as Izuku smiled brightly and walked back to his seat.

"Alright, now that you've all chosen your names," Midnight said as she walked towards the desk, "I believe it's time to get back to the topic of internships."

"Well, that took you guys longer than I expected," Aizawa said as he woke up from his nap "thanks for letting me sleep a bit longer. But now it's time to finish up this segment."

Aizawa once again pulled up the graphic for the number of offers that the students have.

"I will address one key thing you need to know about the internships, not all of you have received offers from Hero agencies." Aizawa said as some of the students tensed up, "but I would not worry if I were you."

"Students with offers will choose from those offers, the rest of you will have a separate list of 40 agencies to choose from," Aizawa stated, "at the end of the day, all of you will be able to participate in the 2-week internship."

A sigh of relief was heard from some of the students who did not receive offers.

That's good to know. Satoshi thought as his concerns for his classmates had all but faded.

"That's all you need to know from me," Aizawa said, "anything you want to add Midnight?"

"It's important to choose internships that suit you and will help you grow in your lacking areas," Midnight suggested, "but don't be stubborn, looking at this from multiple angles, try to get out of your comfort zone."

"Good luck with your decisions, you had a chance to look at offers over the break, so you will have until tomorrow afternoon to make your final decisions. Class is over, you are all dismissed," Aizawa stated as the school bell rang off just as he stopped.

Class 1-A was still amazed at his ability when it comes to school hours.

What impeccable timing.

(In Principal Nezu's Office)

"Mr. Ketchum, first let me extend congratulations to you for winning the Sports Festival," Nezu said as he poured some tea into his teacup, "would you like some tea?"

"Sure," Satoshi graciously accepted the tea as he moved the teacup closer to Nezu.

"I also wanted to talk to you about something serious," Nezu changed his tone, startling Satoshi a bit, "regarding the incident in our school a few weeks ago."

"Sure, I will tell you everything I know," Satoshi responded.

"You can start by telling me why you lied to me," Nezu asked, "or tell me why you purposefully withheld information from me and the faculty members."

Satoshi's head dropped as he realized what Nezu was hinting at.

"Why did you not tell us that you saw the villains on our campus grounds," Nezu asked, "what could have stopped you from coming to me, other than, perhaps, that you are in league with the villains?"

"Wha- what are you suggesting Mr. Nezu? That I'm a spy sent by the League of Villains?" Satoshi asked in a confused tone.

"Given the circumstances, you tell me," Nezu responded, "U.A. has never been attacked by villains. We have never been tainted like this, our history, that is. Then this year, you show up at our school with a powerful quirk, you were the only one who saw the villains, and then they attacked when we least expected it."

Satoshi hated to admit it, but it does seem suspicious when he put it all together as Nezu did.

"I want to believe in you," Nezu said in a softer tone, "but I need to ensure the safety of our students. I am making this serious because it is. On Wednesday you will represent our school at Hero internships, I need to make sure that when you go out there, you are not a threat to others."

"I-I have no way of proving that I'm innocent, or guilty," Satoshi responded, "it was all a coincidence, and I can't provide any more information."

Nezu sighed as this answer was within his expectations.

"I am willing to accept any disciplinary actions you give me," Satoshi said, "if that eases your mind."

Nezu saw the look on his face. Satoshi wanted to make things right.

"I will let you off your hook this time," Nezu responded, "I will not consider you to be suspicious, but you will need to be careful next time, and don't ever lie about things like this again, you understand?"

"Yes sir," Satoshi responded.

"Though, if I were you," Nezu stated, "I would apologize to your classmates and Mr. Aizawa for your decision to withhold information from them. At the end of the day, they suffered."

Satoshi looked at him, debating the sensibility of this action. He decided that Principal Nezu was right.

"I will make sure to apologize to them before our internships on Wednesday," Satoshi responded.

"Good, you are dismissed," Nezu said, "no more withholding information or lying, do you understand?"

Satoshi nodded and walked outside. As he closed the door, he saw a familiar sight. It was his classmates, Kyoka and Momo. Satoshi was not that thrilled to see them.

"Did you hear all of that?" Satoshi asked the duo.

Kyoka and Momo nodded as she walked toward Satoshi.

"We were walking by to give Principal Nezu something for Mr. Aizawa," Momo responded, "Kyoka heard your voice and we got a little… curious."

Satoshi saw therm holding a file, and then studied their aura flow, there was no abnormality, which means they were not in a state of panic. With this, he surmised that they were telling the truth.

"For what it's worth, I believe in you Satoshi," Kyoka comforted, "I don't think our principal is right. I don't believe that you are a spy for the bad guys."

"I agree with Kyoka, Satoshi! You are so kinds and you help everyone around you," Momo added, "I am glad to be able to call you my friend."

"Thanks, Yaomomo, Kyoka," Satoshi smiled as he walked away from the girls, "please don't tell anyone about this."

(With Izuku, Serena, Tenya, Tsuyu, and Ochaco in the cafeteria)

"I wonder what Satoshi has been called to the principal's office for," Tsuyu pondered with her classmates.

"I'm sure it's nothing, let's not worry about Ketchum," Tenya reassured Tsuyu, "on a brighter note, have you all decided where you are going for your internships?"

"Yep, Satoshi and I are going to All Might's Agency," Izuku answered, "what about you guys?"

"I have decided to accept the intern at the Battle Hero: Gun Head's Agency," Ochaco exclaimed, "I was offered an internship and I accepted it. So I am looking forward to it."

"Did you make your decision because of what Midnight said?" Serena asked, "exploring your weaknesses and going out of your comfort zone?"

"Yes. After my fight with Katsuki, I realized that I needed to broaden my horizon. That means I need to explore ways that I can grow that aren't what I am typically used to." Ochaco replied.

"Makes sense to me, good luck on that," Tenya said, "I will be interning with my brother, Tensei, it will be nice to be able to work with him."

"That's great to know," Serena said, "I will be interning with the Dragon hero, Ryukyu."

"The No. 9 hero? That's awesome!" Ochaco cheered as the honey-blonde smiled blissfully at the support.

"Thanks, I am excited, I heard that one member of the Big Three is doing their work-study under Ryukyu," Serena stated, "I am excited to learn from them."

"The Big Three?" Tsuyu asked, "what's that?"

"The 3 strongest students in U.A." Satoshi replied as he came by to sit with the group, "are third years, and they have a lot of experience through their work studies under Hero Agencies. It will be a great opportunity for you to intern with them, Serena."

"Satoshi! You're back, what did Principal Nezu need from you?" Serena asked cheerfully.

"Nothing too important," Satoshi responded as he stood up to go get some food, "he just wanted to congratulate me on my win at the Sports Festival."

(In the U.A. staff meeting room)

"As much as I want to be excited for the students on their internships, I can't ignore the warning lights in the real world," Investigator Naomasa Tsukauchi said on the phone as he was going over files and reports he gathered in the area.

"What do you have for us this time Tsukauchi?" All Might asked through the speaker mode, listening curiously to his long-time friend.

"The group that calls themselves the League of Villains, the ones who attacked your students at the U.S.J event," Naomasa Tare said with a serious tone, "are on the move."

The Pro Heroes, staff, and teachers all stiffened as they heard the news. All Might in particular remembered the sinister intents of the League of Villains and grit his teeth in frustration.

"What do we need to do Tsukauchi?" All Might asked immediately.

"Prepare for the worst."

This looks like a good place to end the chapter, this was a long one.

Class 1-A finally had a day off, and while they had a lot of fun, it wasn't all smooth sailing. Izuku is struggling to convince Satoshi to give his tickets to Katsuki, which is nothing new as Satoshi doesn't like Katsuki, nor the way he has acted around others. What will change the mind and heart of the raven-haired teen? Looks like the class has to go through more bonding exercises.

As per usual, I made changes to the story, namely, I changed Tenya's Hero code name to just his name because obviously in this timeline Stain hasn't injured Tensei yet and so Ingenium is still running around (no pun intended)

The to-be heroes are getting ready to go to their Hero internships. What will they be working on? What will they learn from their internships?

See you all in the next chapter!

Chapter 11: Making the Fundamental Changes.

To be continued…
