Sitting in her years rooms Adaline looked around at the other four girls who were sleeping. No one had stayed this close in her entire life. Getting up, she pulled on fresh underclothes and then clean robes before heading to the great hall for breakfast. She was carrying her school bag as if it would help her and her wand was carefully tucked into the unseen secret pocket up her sleeve.

Carefully following the path that Ted was nice enough to show her the night before, she found the great hall again. Sitting at the Hufflepuff table she got oatmeal for breakfast as well as some milk. Then she buttered some toast before a Slytherin pushed into her and made her drop it.

To her surprise it was Regulus who spoke up, "Leave her alone Lucious." Tuning she saw that Regulus had pulled himself up to his full height and was glaring at an older blond boy who had grey eyes and a pointed face.

The blond boy sneered at them and walked away. She smiled at Regulus, "Thanks."

He grinned back, "Don't mention it." Then taking the toast she handed him, "Does everyone react to you like that?"

She sighed, "Only the ones who know my last name."

There wasn't a chance for him to respond as the heads of houses started down the rows with the class schedules. So Regulus hurried to sit at the Slytherin table in order to get his. A soft sigh from the nose as Adaline realized how many classes she would have without him there to give support.
