*Double posting today. Might have another chapter out by the end of the week, but after that, I will be going on vacation which means all stories will be on hiatus. It's just for ten days. Till then, enjoy the chapters!*

"Woody!" Rex, Slinky, and Hamm yelled. They saw him coming into the butterfly room and engulfed him in a huge hug. Mr. Potato head, his wife, and the three aliens came over and hugged him too, and Bullseye gave him a big lick of the tongue to his face.

"Good to see ya again, Woodster!" Hamm cried.

What are ya doing here?" Slinky asked.

"Yeah, and where's Bo? Weren't you two supposed to be off helping toys or something?" Potato head said. Jessie glared at him. "What? What did I say?"

"Listen here, spud head..." Giggle began to say. Woody held up a finger.

"Stand down, Gigs, it's okay. Woody said. Let me explain, guys." He then told them what happened, with the prospector, and how he ended up back at Sunnyside.

"You mean to tell me that crazy old kook has Bo?" Slinky asked.

"That's right. Woody said. For all I know he's still riding the train. I don't know where he would've gone."

"I've sadly known Prospector longer than you, Woody. Jessie said. He probably took her and Duke to some abandoned place and is holding them hostage."

"He won't hurt her, right?" Rex asked.

"No, he's more than likely going to keep her alive because he knows Woody's going to come looking for her. Hamm said. That's what any villain would do, honestly."

"That actually sounds like something he would do." Buzz said.

"So when do we leave?" Potato Head said, stepping forward. They all looked at him, surprised. The spud looked at Woody. "Hey, did you or did you not want us to join you and Bo as part of your lost crew?"

"Of course I did. But this could be dangerous. Woody said. We all know how hard it was to get rid of him the last time we faced him."

"But we did face him, Woody. Slinky said. And we'll do it again, together."

"As a family." Mrs. Potato Head said.

"Just as we always have." Buzz said. Woody looked at him and smiled.

"Okay, we need to do some research. Find out if there is another train headed to Montreal." Woody turned to Barbie and Ken who was sitting on the side, listening. "Barbie, do you guys have a computer here we can use?"

"Yeah, there's a computer in the staff office. I can show you." They started to follow her, but Woody stayed back.

"Buzz, Jess, hang back a sec." He said. They turned to him. Woody took Giggle off his shoulder. "Go with the others, Giggle. We'll be along soon." She hopped away after the others.

"What's up, partner?" Buzz asked.

"I just wanted to warn you both about Prospector. He said to them. The vengeance he's after, he's not just on me. He's seeking revenge on all three of us."

"Hold on, he's got a bullet on my head too? Jessie asked. What did I do to him?"

"He's upset that you chose the life of being with a kid instead of a life in the museum. You chose me instead of him."

"You're my brother, Woody! Of course I was going to side with you. Plus, you made me remember how wonderful it was to be played with by a kid. I wanted to feel that happiness again!"

"I know that, and he knows that, which makes him hate you. I know he's going to go after Buzz and I, but I'm more afraid that he's going to do something to you."

"I'll die before I let that happen!" Buzz said.

"Easy, Buzz. No need to go to extremes here." Jessie said. She turned to Woody again. "I appreciate your concern, bro, but you know I can hold my own in a fight."

"I'm not worried about that, Jessie. I know you can take him down in two seconds flat, I'm worried he's going to try and manipulate you again to get inside your head." Jessie's hardened gaze began to soften as she remembered how he misled her with all the false promises, not to mention the level of control he had seemed to have over her. Her hands began to curl into fists and her breathing had started to quicken. She felt two hands, one on each shoulder.

"Jess, hey. It's okay. Buzz said to her. Look at me." She did. "I swear he will never abuse you again."

"That's right." She turned to her left at Woody. "If he even tries anything, Buzz and I will put a stop to him."

"And if he tries to hurt either of you, I'm going to beat the stuffing out of him." Jessie said proudly. Buzz and Woody chuckled.

"Let's get our friends back." Buzz said.

"Hold on, we can't do anything without our rightful leader." Jessie said. Reaching up to her chest, she unclipped the sheriff badge from where it rested on her vest.

"What are you doing?" Woody asked.

"It's time for you to come out of retirement."

"No. No, I gave that to you. Bonnie saw you as the sheriff, and you did better with her toys than I did."

"You're right, I did. But here's the thing, we're not Bonnie's toys anymore, which makes me the former leader. We're all back together as Andy's toys, setting off for a life full of adventure to help lost toys find owners. Who would be better to lead us than the leader we all know, love and trust?" She held out the badge to him, but he didn't take it.

"Jess, I can't."

"I would take it, Woody. Buzz said. She actually decided this a while ago, that when we found you again and stuck to the pact, she was going to return the badge to you. I actually support her on this. You got us through so many things. We'd follow you anywhere, Sheriff Woody." Woody looked at him, and then back at Jessie.

"Take the badge, bro. It never felt like it belonged to me. Besides, I prefer being a deputy anyway." Woody smiled softly at her, took the badge, and looked at it.

"You'll always be more than a deputy to me, Jess." That made Jessie smile and pull him in for another hug.

"Oh you are such a kiss up, but I love you anyway. She said. Now come on, we've got to get this plan in motion!" She took off out of the room. Woody shook his head, put the badge back on his vest, and took a deep breath.

"I'm coming for you, Prospector." Woody said, looking out the daycare window.

*Okay the idea for Jessie to give back the badge was actually floating around in my mind for awhile. Don't get me wrong, I loved that he gave it to her in TS4, but now that they are all together again, I could see Jessie handing the reigns back over to Woody.*
