Toodlepip06: Thank you! I'm sorry I couldn't get an update before I left. I'm back now and ready to get back to writing! Good luck with school!
Childhood Girl: Ducky and Bunny are not with them any longer. In chapter three, when Giggle explained what happened, she said that Ducky and Bunny had left to be with kids of their own. As for Billy, Goat, and Gruff and the skunk mobile, I will try to tie them into this chapter. I almost forgot about them! Also, I went out east for vacation. It was so relaxing and very much needed!
Chloe854: I'm glad you liked this story and I thank you for the idea. In another series of stories I have, Woody and Bo have a child named Rosetta, so to give them a child at the end of this story may confuse those who have read my Pride Family stories. It is a great idea and I may still use it, but for another couple.
Back at the store, Bo was still trying to find a way to get out, this time without Pete knowing. She had spent the entire morning pacing back and forth in the cell, thinking.
"Oh, what if we...No, that won't work. Bo said to herself. Oh! But maybe...No, that will take too long."
"Bo, enough of this. Duke said, standing up. You are going to wear yourself out with all this thinking. Just sit down for a bit."
"I can't sit down, Duke! I cannot stay here knowing Woody and Giggle are out there, probably hurt, or dead for all we know! And I most definitely will not stay here playing the part of some damsel in distress. That is not who I am anymore!"
"I know it's not, lamb chop. No one is saying that. But face the facts. We have no other tools to use to break this lock and the holes in this cage are too small to go through. Face it, we are not getting out of here unless some miracle happens in the next few minutes." Just then, they heard a noise coming from the vent beside them. Something hit against it, not once, not twice, but three times, busting the vent open. It was a toy car in the shape of a skunk, and sitting in the driver's seat was a three-headed porcelain sheep.
"Baaa!" The sheep said.
"Girls! You found us!" Bo said. She suddenly got an idea. That was their ticket out. She looked down at the sheep. "Girls, we need your help. I need you to find us a key to get us out of here. Can you do that?" The sheep nodded. "Okay. Go. Go now." The sheep left through the vent once again. Duke looked at Bo.
"Bo you know I love those sheep, but do you really believe they will be able to, pardon my french, pull the wool over Pete's eyes and take the key from him?" Duke asked.
"Hey, my girls are really good at finding stuff. Stealth, that's not really their strong suit, but I know they can do it." They waited for a good thirty minutes until they heard tiny clinking walking back through the vent. Billy, Goat, and Guff walked out, with a key between their teeth. Duke was awe-struck.
"Well what do you know?" The sheep walked over to Bo, who took the key and put it in the lock. Turning it to the left, the lock snapped open and they ran out of their cell, dashing towards the vent. They traveled through the vent and out the side of the building.
"Girls, where is the mobile?" Bo asked. The sheep extended their necks, pointing them across the street. Bo looked and saw it under a few bushes. "Excellent. We get to the skunk, head towards the train station, and hide out there."
"Why aren't we hitching a ride on a train?" Duke asked.
"Because Woody will be coming here, and if we take a train, we will miss him. I know it's a bit of a stretch but..."
"BAA! BAAA!" Billy, Goat and Guff cried, making them both jump. Looking behind them, Bo gasped. Pete was rounding the side of the building, making his way towards them.
"Across the street, go!" Bo shouted. Duke ran in front of her, as did the sheep, and Bo ran behind them. They made it to the cart, but Pete had gained up on them. "Duke, my crook!" Duke threw her crook to her and just before Pete got to them, she hit him with it, knocking him back. He groaned and looked up at her.
"You're a bit of a troublemaker, aren't you sweetheart?" He said, getting up.
"I'm just giving you a taste of your own medicine." Bo said.
"You fight well, baby, I'll give you that. But you only get one chance. You're coming with me. I don't need Canada over there. Woody will surrender easily knowing you're the one in danger."
"Woody surrenders to no one, not even to the likes of you!" Bo shouted and ran at him, the crook raised high. She swung it at him, but he disarmed her with his pick ax. They fought against one another. Bo kicked him in the head, knocking him to the side again and turned to Duke. "Get to the train station. I'll meet you...ah!" Bo felt like the wind was knocked out of her as something slammed against her, knocking her down. The crook fell out of her hand, and Pete stomped on it, cracking it in two. Taking the hook part of it, Pete looped it around her neck and pulled back, making her choke.
"I'll say it again, sweet cheeks. You fight well, but lack focus. Pete said. One rule in a fight, never lose focus. Another rule, never turn your back on your opponent. Third rule, don't pick a fight you can't win. You are no match for me, Bo Peep. Now you are coming with me, and this time, you will not escape me again!" He pulled a small roll of tape from his pocket and wrapped it around her wrists. He looked up at Duke. "Take this message to Woody, daredevil. He better be prepared to fight to the death, because that is the only way he will have any chance of getting his girl back alive." He turned away, dragging Bo along with him.
"Baa! Baa!" Billy, Goat, and Gruff said.
"You're right, girls. Duke said. We have to continue on. Onward, to the train station. We have to get on the next train. Hopefully, Woody will be on it, for Bo's sake!"
*Will Duke and the sheep find Woody? What will happen to Bo? Find out in the next chapter!
