Hello readers! Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

First thing first, I would like to apologize for the inconsistency that you may or will read in this story as I have watched the show ages ago and doesn`t have enough time to binge watch the whole show to refresh my memory. So in short, I can only watch the clips and read information from the wiki page of the show. Although I will find time to watch it.

And I also would like to apologize for the grammatical errors and repeating words you may see as english is not my first language.

So excuses aside, I really like this episode, this is the type of episode where fans can add a "what if" scenario into it. So I decided to write one myself. So I hope you guys like it.

I don`t own SVTFOE or any of its characters.

Her day started normally enough, wake up early, eat her breakfast, freshen up, and take their dog for a walk in the dog park as requested by her mother. Stepping outside of her house with her dog, Wahine securely tied in her leash. Jackie took a deep breath taking in the fresh morning air before staring their trek towards the park but immediately stops midstep when saw dark clouds looming over a few blocks away from her house.

Normally she would be weirded out if she sees only a single block is being pelted by nature's fury while the rest of the neighborhood is left untouched. Knowing that the Diaz lives over that part of the neighborhood and also knowing who is currently living with the Diaz, she shook her head with a smile thinking that Star is up to her usual craziness and with Marco tagging along the crazy adventure of the mewman princess.

Deciding to see if everything is alright. She quickly shouted over her shoulder notifying her mother on where she is heading. After hearing an approval from inside the house, she quickly made her way towards the Diaz' residence. Ever since the crazy event with BonBon the birthday clown with Star and Janna, her thoughts and feelings that revolves around the hispanic boy starts to take deeper roots in her mind and quickly blooms like a well looked after rose garden.

A small smile grace her features as she imagined herself dressed in a sea green dress and standing at the side of what she presume to be a ballroom, with Marco standing in front of her wearing a red sombrero, skull mask and a tuxedo with gold pauldron. She felt her face heats up as she studied his features being bathed in an ethereal glow. "Care to dance?" She heard Marco say with a hand outstretched towards her. He sounded like he normally does but his voice sounded as it being distorted by water yet ethereal at the same time.

Sensing her hesitation, Marco gives her a reassuring smile before taking her hand and leading her towards the middle of the ballroom. A soft beautiful melody reaches her ears before she found herself in dancing with Marco. Lost in their dance and bliss she failed to notice that they are now surrounded by different people dancing together until they bumped into another dancing pair. Cheeks flushing in embarrassment she let's go of Marco's hand and hastily turned around to apologize.

Her apology stops short before it can escape her lips as she see Marco staring blankly in front of her with his hand holding his partner. She let out a gasp of shock as she see who was the partner of the Marco in front of her was non other than the resident princess of Echo Creek, Star Butterfly.

She took a step back fear as the Star in front of her was also staring blankly at her like Marco only she could see that her eyes are missing their pupils and irises. Peering at the holes of Marco's mask she could only see milky whites as he's eyes are also missing their irises and pupils. She quickly look around her and see that she was surrounded by many clones of Marco and Star also staring blankly at her.

She then notices that music has vanished and was replaced by an eerie silence that engulfs the whole room. Eyes widening in fear, she could feel her heart threatening to break out of her chest as it continue to hammer in her rib cage. "You are not supposed to be here." She heard the Star and Marco she bumped into says. Her fear jumps ten fold as their voice sounded not like them but sounded more feral, deep, dark and ancient.

And one by one she see them looking upward, following their lead, she looks up and to her amazement and horror she is staring at an enlarged blood red moon floating above at the now missing roof of the ballroom. The moon shine its eerie red light at her. "Leave!" she heard them said as they slowly approach her with their eyes no longer ghostly white but glowing blood red. Backing away in fear, she soon realize the space between her and the copies is slowly shrinking.

"Jackie Lyn Thomas." She turn towards Marco who she was dancing with, relief filled her as she notice that the one she was dancing with still has the warm brown eyes she was accustomed to. But something was different she told herself as Marco's voice was now different from the beginning as his voice doesn't sound like his, it sounded feminine, soothing, more ethereal than before but also sound ancient. But unlike the voices of the copies, the voice of her partner was not lace with anger or malice but with love and comfort.

Then his eyes started to glow, engulfing his brown eyes and replacing it with a pale blue light. "We will meet soon." She was about to ask what he was talking about when she felt a hand on her shoulder and quickly yanking her back. She closed her eyes shut fearing what was going to happen to her.

She can feel herself being gently shaken by someone while calling her name. Quickly opening her eyes she was face to face with one her neighbor , Mrs. Samantha who was looking at her with a look of worry. "Are you alright, dear? I was in the middle of my morning run when I noticed you dragging your dog towards the flood. I called out to you but you weren't responding." Mrs. Samantha says to her.

Looking at Mrs. Samantha she was indeed wearing an attire that you would normally see a jogger wear and she completed the look by tying her brown chestnut hair in ponytail. "I… what happened?" Jackie asks as she run her free hand through her platinum blonde hair.

"I don't know, dear, but you were pale as snow when I saw you and you were staring directly ahead and even when I wave my hand in front of your face but you just kept walking forward, so I tried shaking you awake to make you snap out of it, thankfully it worked."

Jackie didn't reply but remember her thoughts earlier. She knew it was in her mind but it felt so real yet, she could still feel a tingle in her hands as if she was really holding on to Marco. And the fear, she could still feel it in her self as her heart is still beating a mile a minute. What did happened to her? She knows everyone can get lost in their thought but this was different. Was she under a spell?

She saw and experienced magical spells from the princess of mewni but this feels different from Star's and she know Star wouldn't cast a spell that would make people unresponsive and feel terror in their mind that's not how she use her magic.

Not getting a response from her, Mrs. Samantha asks her if should call her mother and escorts her home. She quickly shakes her head and told the older woman that she was alright and was merely lost in thought and shouldn't worry about her.

The older woman looks at her for a minute trying to detect a lie before finally relenting and gives a nod of acceptance and walk away but not before telling the young skater girl to not hesitate on calling her mother or her is she needs any help.

With a nod, she waves at the retreating form of her neighbor, with a sigh of relief the turn back and see Marco's and his neighbors houses was being pelted by strong rain. Strangely enough they were the only one experiencing the strange weather as she was standing across the street from his house and was completely dry.

She only wanted to walk by to see if the Diaz' and Star were alright but after the weird experience she had earlier she wanted to asks some question especially to Star as she know she has the most experience with magical stuff. But seeing that the other side was separate by hard rain and a strong flowing flood, Jackie opens up her phone to check the time. She frowns as she realizes that the Star and Marco might still be asleep as it was still early in the morning.

She heard a whimper beside her and saw that her dog was looking at her worryingly. "Sorry about that girl, I was just… lost in thought?" She said reassuringly but was more directed towards herself. With a final glance towards the Diaz household, she made her way towards the dog park and decided that she can just ask them about her weird experience later.

Her walk in the park, much to her relief was rather uneventful just people enjoying a normal non magical morning with their pets, warm weather, no only one kind of rain in sight. With all those combined she nearly forgot about what happened to her earlier, keyword almost. She was alerted when screams of shock and terror reaches her ears. Looking to her left, she narrowly dodge an incoming laser beam heading towards her face.

In her haste to dodge the sudden attack, her gripped on wahine's leash loosened enough for the said dog to scampered away in fear. She stand there alone looking at the chaos in front of her, in front of her are multiple people with their pets trying to escape from the litter of puppies who were wildly shooting out lasers in every direction. She would have join the others and escape the mayhem if it wasn't for the fact that she recognize the troublemakers.

Without hesitation she went towards the center of the chaos all the while nimbly evading the laser beams. After few close calls from having her hair burnt off, she was able to reach the puppies whom to her relief stop firing and instead started barking happily as they realize who she was.

Smiling, she kneeled in front of them and starts petting them affectionately. "Hey little dudes. Why are you guys here on your own?" She asks and was only greeted by happy yelp from the litter. Without the fear of getting seared by lasers, she finally notice the small blue portal where the other end of the leash of the puppies is coming from.

She let out a snort as she see how ridiculous it looks. She tugged at the leash to get a respond from the other end. Seeing she isn't getting any respond from the other side after many tugged on the leash she tentatively poke her hand in. Seeing that nothing happens to her hand, she push her face through the swirling portal and see Marco lying on his bed with his phone in one hand and a drink on the other while being surrounded by other similar floating portals.

Sporting a mischievous smile, she grab the hoodie wearing teen by the leg, eliciting a surprise yelp from the hispanic teen, while flailing his around in panic. Flailing his arms in panic, he nearly spill his drink into himself. Seeing the result, Jackie let out a laugh making Marco looks towards her direction. The hoodie wearing teen flushed a deep red in embarrassment resembling the color of his attire. Jackie!? Wha- whats going on?" He asks standing up from his bed and offering a hand to help her through.

After pushing her way through the portal with help of Marco, she look around the room as if she was looking for something. Marco noticing her looking around his room starts to get nervous. "Uh... are you looking for something, Jackie?" he ask nervously with a few beads of sweat rolling down his cheeks.

"Nope, just looking around." She then face the hispanic boy who is now fidgeting in his place beside his bed. "So what's with portals in your room, Marco?" She ask gesturing at the swirling magic.

A fit of laughter escapes from her lips as her boyfriend finishes explaining the reasoning on why he made multiple portals in his room. Containing herself, she wipe the tear in her eyes. "Power trip aside, this is actually pretty neat." She said as she grab the magical object and starts examining it. "But are you sure it's ok to have this many portals around at same time?"

Marco shrugs his shoulder unable to fully answer her question. "Maybe? Nothing bad happened so far when we use it, so I guess it's ok." He said taking a seat on his bed. Jackie follow his lead and seats beside him before handing back the scissors to him.

"Umm… so why are you hear, Jackie?" Marco ask but then suddenly tense and got even nervous than before thinking that Jackie might have taken his question as a sign of him not wanting her here. "I-I mean, I am not saying that I don't want you here, I am ju-" he said trying to not offend his long time crush and current girlfriend. And to his relief he see that she wasn't offended at all as she was smiling kindly at him. "Relax, Marco, I get what you were trying to say." She said while putting a hand on his lap to reassure him. "But to answer your question, I was walking my dog at the park when I almost got hit by puppies." Noticing his distress, she pats him in the cheek to tell him that she wasn't hurt. "My dog run away in fright along with the other people there. Noticing the portal behind them I assume that the puppies belongs to Star as she is the only one I know who has puppies that shoots laser." She then gave him a questioning look. "Are the laser puppies a common thing in Star home dimension?"

Marco shakes his head, telling her that Star created them using a spell. "So anyway, I approached them, thankfully they recognize me and stop. Then I tugged at the leashed to get the attention of whoever was on the other side which happens to be you. So I tested the portal and went through and so here we are." Jackie finishes leaving her boyfriend with wide eyes and mouth hanging open in shock.

Marco exploded in worry telling her that what she did was dangerous. Jackie on the other hand already use to Marco's overly cautiousness just smile at him. She caress his face before giving him a peck on the cheek. "I am fine Marco, nothing bad happened."

"But what if you did got hit by the laser puppies or what if at the other end of the portal wasn't me or Star, what if it was some sort of… I don't know a… Flesh eating monster from another dimension!" Marco retorted still not completely convinced with her girlfriend's excuse.

Jackie didn't deny that he made valid points with her disregarding her safety by approaching the portal, so instead of firing an excuse she told him that she'll try not to get too close to any unknown portal in the near future.

Satisfied with her answer and the adrenaline he got from the scare vanish, nervousness starts to fill his system again but steel his nerves and ask her if she would to hang out today. Jackie smiles at the invitation and was about to agree to it until she remember something. "Wait! Wahine is out on loose out there, I need to find her!" She said in a panic.

Quickly standing up she made her way towards the portal she went through but was stopped by Marco who grabbed her arm and told her that she could just use the scissors to look for her dog.

Handing her the magical artifact, he instructs her on how to use it properly and then guided her towards the center of his room.

Jackie look over her shoulder to see Marco heading towards the garbage bin besides his bed to throw away the paper cup he was drinking on earlier. "Are you sure its alright for me to use this?" She asks before getting a hum of confirmation from the hispanic teen.

Taking a deep breath she gently open the magical scissor and concentrate on finding her pet before tearing a small portal in front of her. She hesitates on going through as she notice it was different from the other portal. 'Is the color of the portal depends on the user?' she asks herself.

Turning around she was about to ask him if this was normal but stop when she his face is expressing shock. She didn't get to ask him what's wrong before she felt someone grab her shoulders from behind and before she knows it, she was dragged through the bright orange portal and the last thing she saw and heard was her boyfriend running towards her and calling out to her.
