After repairing Beacon, Jaune conjured building materials. He used said materials to build a building complex around Beacon to be used for the evacuees. Jaune designed the building with the same design as Beacon dorms.

After building all the necessary shelters, Jaune released Sylvia from the Dimensional Farm and asked her to kill all the Grimm that was starting to come due to Salem's order for them to find the Relic at Beacon.

Glynda and her colleagues showed fear in their eyes when Sylvia came out of the Dimensional Farm. They were ready to attack it when suddenly it started caressing its head onto Jaune. From there, they knew that it was tamed. Sylvia is Jaune's Rathian. A fitting name due to the colour of her scale, which reminds Jaune of the Forest.

Sylvia flew into the sky as soon as she received Jaune's commands. She watched over Beacon to make sure that it was Grimm free. Whenever a Grimm would come close, she would kill it with ease. Rathians are called Queen of the Sky for a reason.

"W-What is that?" Glynda said. She was still scared of the beast that she was faced earlier. "I've never seen anything like it. I'm sure that thing is no Grimm. It hasn't got the usual Grimm features".

"Correct, it's not Grimm," Jaune said. "Sylvia is called a Rathian, a wyvern variant. She's pretty cool and strong too. Don't mind her. She'll protect Beacon from any Grimm that comes close".

"Where did it come from?" Glynda asked. She was scared that the wyvern would be able to pop out of nowhere at any time. "Is that its ability? To appear out of nowhere".

"What? No, the portal you saw isn't Sylvia's ability," Jaune said. "That's the portal to my Dimensional Farm where Sylvia lives".

Scáthach then appeared after killing some of the Grimm around the Emerald Forest. No wonder why reclaiming Beacon was difficult for Glynda and the others. There was just too much Grimm for six Huntsman and Huntresses. Jaune and Scáthach returned to Vacuo to inform Theodore that the plan was in motion.

A few days later, a particular scorpion, Faunus, met with Jaune. Boy, did Tyrian think he would be able to mess with Jaune as he did back in Mistral.

"Ha-ha-ha! Look, it's you!" Tyrian said. "My, it has been a while since we've met!".

"Hmm…I think you have the wrong guy, dumbass. Although, you're the one I'm waiting for," Jaune said. He then looks at Mercury. "Same for the one with the grey hair".

"Ha! You look more confident than the last time I saw you," Mercury said. He then sneered. "But no matter how confident you may be, it would amount to nothing. The forces playing against you isn't something you'd be able to stop".

"I don't know about that," Jaune said. "I did fight a Goddess, and I'm still standing right here".

"Blasphemy! I don't know who you're talking about, but there is only one Goddess! "Tyrian said. He then laughed maniacally. "And if you were to face my Goddess, you wouldn't be able to here to tell the tale!".

"Ha-ha-ha! Such confidence in your fake Goddess," Jaune said. "Because I know that a few people who have faced Salem are alive. Yang, Oscar, and Emerald are alive and well".

"Emerald?" Mercury questioned. "Tsk! I thought I told her to not go against Salem. There is no point".

"What may seem impossible for you isn't impossible for someone else," Jaune said. "You may think it's pointless to go against Salem due to your fear of being killed and your knowledge of her being immortal. But know that there are many ways to defeat an immortal".

"You annoy me!" Tyrian said. He was annoyed that Jaune showed no fear or reaction to knowing Salem's greatness. "I'll kill you for all those blasphemous words coming out of your mouth!".

The only reason that Jaune hasn't killed Mercury is that Emerald asked him to try and get Mercury on their side. She told him that Mercury was unnerved upon finding out about Salem's real motive. However, Jaune said to her that they are both criminals who have caused many deaths. Why should he try and show Mercury mercy when they didn't give the people mercy, innocent people that did nothing wrong?.

Emerald didn't have an answer. However, she said it may not be enough, but she was willing to receive all the punishments for what she had done. Even if the punishment was her death. All she asked for was to give Mercury a chance to redeem himself.

It wasn't up to Jaune whether she was put to death or not since Emerald, in essence, had done nothing to Jaune. Her punishment will be up to the people she hurt, such as Ruby, Yang, Pyrrha, Vale and Mistral. But, Jaune did agree to try and get Mercury on their side.

Being the fanatic that he was, Tyrian attacked Jaune for his blasphemous words. While Tyrian was laughing maniacally as he attacked Jaune, he didn't even realise that Jaune wasn't taking any damage from his attack, even with his semblance on full force.

Mercury watched the entire exchange, and he knew that Jaune was no longer the same dorky guy that he knew from Beacon and the time they met at Haven Academy. The way Jaune moved with ease around his enemy, the way he showed confidence in himself, these were not traits that the Jaune he knew had.

After a minute of exchange with Jaune, Tyrian got angry since nothing he does affects Jaune. He finally realised that even when his semblance burns Jaune's Aura and creates an opening for him to attack, it does nothing.

It wasn't after another few more seconds of exchange that Tyrian realised that the only reason that he was able hit Jaune in the first place was because Jaune wanted to be hit. Otherwise, all his attacks were being dodged. The entire time, Tyrian figured out that he was being played with, like how he played with his victims.

When Jaune saw that he had infuriated Tyrian enough, he thought it was time to end the game. So, he used his telekinesis to make Tyrian levitate and manipulate the air molecules around him. Tyrian then realised that he couldn't breathe. A moment later, he was passed out.

Now that Tyrian was taken care of, Jaune brought his attention to Mercury.

"The only reason I haven't killed you is because of Emerald and R.W.B.Y.J. the second," Jaune said. Mercury didn't know who R.W.B.Y.J. the second was, but he recognised R.W.B.Y. Who the J was, and why the second? He didn't know, but he understood enough. "So, what would it be? Continue working with Salem and die? Or join the side that Emerald has joined and have a chance at survival?".

"Does it matter what side I choose?" Mercury said. "No matter what choice I make, we are all dying anyway. If I join your ragtag group, I will die for betraying Salem. If I continue working for Salem, sooner or later, I'll get killed since her plan is the destruction of Remanent".

"So, your choice is to give up and die," Jaune said. "Okay, if that's your choice, then so be it".

Jaune then brought out a dozen Noble Phantasm and aimed them at Mercury. Seeing this, Mercury shouted.

"H-Hold on a minute!" Mercury said. He was not willing to be skewered by a dozen weapons. "I didn't say that I was not going to switch sides. When I joined Salem, I didn't know her true goal. After knowing what it was, I was unnerved. After knowing all that, I don't think I can continue working with her".

"So, you're planning to leave Salem's group?" Jaune asked. Mercury nodded. "Good, because I wouldn't have hesitated to kill. I only needed a single person to get information about Salem's next objective".

Mercury gulped. Jaune wasn't the same person that he knew. Mercury can tell that not a single word of Jaune was a lie. He would have died when he chose to stick with Salem's group. Nonetheless, Mercury had already made his choice. He wasn't planning on re-joining Salem's crazy group of people. But he was surprised that Emerald had decided to leave Cinder behind.
