We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.
The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. But, the students of Bronzestone high, can sometimes crack under the pressure, and make bad decisions. This is the difficult freshman year.
The tugs theme then plays.
Junior's POV
Halloween is the one time of year, where everybody tries to scare the living daylights out of each other. People make up ridiculous ghost stories around this time, and there are some people that actually claim to have seen something ridiculous. This is also the time of the year, were people put on disguises, and use it as an excuse to get free candy. Me and my friends were actually going to have a Halloween dinner at Seth's house, but we didn't know we were about to be horrified at what was in there.
Reader's POV
Our main group had different outfits on. Junior was dressed as a firefighter, Wilson was an army sergeant, Hudson was a soccer referee, Bertha was a cop, and Terrence was Harry Potter. When they opened the door to Seth's house, they began screaming bloody murder at what they saw. Seth was holding a gun, and lying unconscious on the ground with a bleeding chest, was Oscar the groundskeeper. "SETH, WHAT THE HELL?" shouted Bertha. "He took the last hot-pocket" said Seth. "You think this warrants murdering an old man?" asked Hudson. They then heard snickering. The snickering was coming from Oscar's dead body. Seth began to snicker as well. Oscar then got up, and burst out laughing along with Seth. "I can't believe actually fell for fake blood" said Oscar. "And a fake toy gun" said Seth. "That was not funny, you wankers nearly made me jump out of my trousers" said Terrence. "What's a wanker?" asked Wilson. "Wilson, there is a time and a place" said Bertha. Her cousin did not need to know what the definition was.
Junior's POV
Seth decided to go as a vampire, and Oscar's costume just confused me. It was a black hoodie, and a backwards red baseball cap. I'm not joking, he went as me for Halloween. As we sat and had dinner, Seth's parents went on and on about how North Korean politics, would be the cause of the third world war. (AN- I am not racist towards North Korea) Then while we were having dessert, Oscar told us a ghost story, that happened when he was in his freshman year at Bronzestone.
**Bronzestone- 1944**
Oscar looked a lot younger, and had a lot more hair. He even had a long beard. He was mopping the floor of the cafeteria, as the school janitor was in the staffroom on his break. "OOOOOOOOOO" said a voice. Oscar looked around. "Don't be frightened, I mean no harm" said The voice. A bright white hologram of a man appeared in front of Oscar. "Goodness gracious, ghosts actually do exist" said Oscar. "Yes, we do exist, but we don't try to scare people the way people rumor it" said the ghost. "I actually died in 1282, I came back because I wanted to know what a modern day chocolate bar tastes like." "Oh well of course, i've got a Hershey bar right here" said Oscar. After the ghost ate his chocolate, he had done what he accomplished, and was ready to return to the afterlife. A bright shone down on him, and he began rising. Then the light disappeared and the ghost came back down. "On second thought it's nice here, I think i'll stay a little while longer" said the ghost.
**Present day**
"And now he lives in my basement" said Oscar. "Bull crap, that did not happen" said Hudson. "Of course it didn't happen, every ghost story in history is fake" said Oscar.
Junior's POV
This may sound really weird, but the ghost Oscar mentioned, is real. I would actually eventually meet that ghost. But that is a story for another day.
Authors note: The scene with the ghost rising back to the afterlife and then changing it's mind, is a reference to chapter 6 of Paper Mario The thousand year door.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
