Passing through the city. Lexi reached in her bag and pulled out a pocket camera. "Beautiful!" she commented happily. "So where to?" the zebra asked. "40 Sweet St." Brad said. "Got it." The zebra said.
It was a short drive. Two stoplights and a left. We arrived. Brad excitedly and happily hoped out of the car. He handed Brian the money, which he gave to the cab driver. Lexi walked and grabbed their suitcases and wheeled them up.
Brad walked to the door and rang the doorbell. "Mom! Dad!" Brad called. A female kangaroo answered the door. "Brad!" she said, as she held out her arms. Brad grasped his mother, hugging her. His dad walked up. "Son!" he said.Brian and Lexi stood on the grass as they watched. Brad stopped and came back to us. He directed Brian to come up.
"Dad, this is my best friend, Brian. He's a paramedic." Brad said.Brian held out his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Roo. I'm Brian." Brad's dad chuckled. "Pleasure. I don't know if Brad told you but, I have a friend who works at Bondi beach and he wanted to know if you'd like to come by."
Brian nodded. "Yeah." He turned to Brad's mom. "Mrs. Roo. It's nice to meet you. Your son is hilarious."
Mrs. Roo laughed. "Thank you. Who's that?" she pointed at Lexi. "Oh, that's my sister Lexi." Brian said. She nodded. "Come inside." Mr. Roo said. Brian walked over and helped Lexi with the luggage, they wheeled them up and inside.

Brian, Lexi and Brad sat on the couch. Brad grabbed one of the pillows on the couch and cuddled with it. Mr. Roo walked over with a glass of water. "So, how's Vermont?" he asked. Brad sat the pillow down. "Really calm. And so beautiful."
Mr. Roo nodded. "Nice. So, Brian. Why don't you tell us more about what you do?" Mr. Roo and his wife sat on a chair.
"Well, I'm a trained paramedic for St. Bernard Regional Medical Center, I love blueberries, I love to hang out with my sweet doe, Alyssa. And my sister Lexi." he said.
Mr. Roo nodded. "You must be a hard worker."
Brian nodded. "I am. Being a paramedic is hard."
Mr. Roo turned to his son who was sipping his water. "So, how do you like the US?" Brad looked up. "Very beautiful." He looked back down at his phone and noticed the time. Eleven-o-two. Brad got up and yawned.
Brian followed. "Maybe we can chat more tomorrow." Brad said exhausted. He walked into his old room, and landed flat on his bed.His mom walked past, then peaked her head in.
"Brad, you should put on your PJ's before you go to bed." Brad moaned. "Yes mother." he walked over to his drawer and pulled out a pair of blue pajama pants and slipped them on. Brian and Lexi walked in. "Looks like me and you are bunking." Brian said.
Brad smiled as he scooted over to the other side of his bed. Brian began to undo his collar and placed it on a table. Then slipped off his blue shirt, revealing his white/beige furry stomach. As Brian was gonna remove his pants, he looked up and said. "Brad, could you maybe cover your eyes or roll over... please."
Brad smirked as he shielded his eyes with his arm. Brian continued to slip his pants off. Lexi handed Brian his suitcase, which he laid flat on the floor and unzipped it. He pulled out his space pj's and slipped them on. His cute deer tail poking out. Brian crawled in next to Brad who had his eyes still covered."Brad, I'm dressed now. All you have to look at is my furry stomach." Brian said.
"Ok." Brad removed his arm and placed it down. Lexi walked over to the foot of the bed and laid down. She kicked off her pink shorts she was wearing and sighed, she grabbed her blanket and covered herself up.
"Do you want me to get the light?" Brian asked. Brad nodded. Brian leaned over and clicked the light, then leaned back over on the pillow and closed his eyes.
