Chapter 11

"We're here!" Mr. Roo announced. Brian hoped out and began to walk to the sand. He glanced at the beach, it was pretty crowded. It looked fun. Brian took a breath as he continued.

He approached the tower. He gulped as he knocked on the door. It opened to reveal another kangaroo. Blue haired and soaked. Wearing awesome blue swimming trunks and a light blue lifeguard shirt. "G'day. You must Brian. Right?"

Brian nodded. "Yes I am."

"Great!" the lifeguard said. He handed him a blue uniform and a key. One to the locker room and another to one of the beach jeeps parked outside. He walked out and hoped onto the patrol jeep, and drove to the locker room where he changed. After, he hoped back on the quad and started to roll around the beach, looking through a pair of binoculars, looking for any drowning victims.

He spotted one and alerted the tower. "Yeah, I'm on the north side and I have someone bopping their head up and down, throwing their arms in the air!" Brian alerted. He sat the walkie talkie back on the seat next to him. "Copy that. We see him. Uh, are you near?" the kangaroo asked.

"Yeah. I can take this one!" Brian replied. He drove a little closer, before grabbing a backboard and running into the water. The animal bopped a few more times, until Brian reached him. The animal managed to grasp onto the board climbing on.

"Ok!" Brian said. He swam with the guy back to shore. The animal clutched his side as he panted heavily. "Ah!" he cried.

Another lifeguard came by. He grabbed the horse by his arm and lifted him up. "Mate, are you ok?" The blue haired kangaroo asked. The horse nodded. "Ah, my ribs. They're cramping." he complained.

Brian and the kangaroo helped him to the jeep and drove him back to the tower.

Chapter 12

"Are you okay. What's up?" Brian asked the horse.

"It's my ribs. They're cramping." The horse said.

"Do you need me to call an ambulance or something?" Brian suggested. The horse shook his head. He stopped holding his ribs as he began to calm down. Slowly take deep breaths.

"Wow, not even a minute and I already spot a drowning horse." Brian said. "He said that his ribs were hurting and yeah."

"Does this usually happen?" The kangaroo asked. The horse nodded. "Sometimes." he replied, he took a swig of water. Then got up and left.Brian walked over to a chair and stared out the window. He watched as everyone was enjoying a good time. Then spotted more trouble. A group of people have surrounded a certain area. The kangaroo and Brian both walked out and ran to the scene.

A wolf laid unconscious in the sand. It looked like he'd just been pulled from the water. Brian got on his radio and tried to alert someone. "Yeah, if there's anyone at the tower I need someone to call an ambulance, please."
