The kangaroo shook his hand and patted him on the back. "Alright. Thanks for stopping by." he said. Brian left. He pulled out his phone and called Brad. But he had no idea that he was standing near the railings up by the street.

He flagged down Brian. "Up here, Bambi!" he called. Brian snarled. "I told you, don't call me Bambi. You know I hate that!" Brad nodded as the two walked to the car where his parents were waiting.Brian hoped in. "Hey, Brian, how was your first day?" Mr. Roo asked."Pretty good." Brian replied, as he patted the side of his head to get the water out.

"Good." Mr. Roo said. He drove the two back to the house.

Chapter 17

Brian walked in and stepped into the kitchen. Mrs. Roo was about done with dinner. Brad came in and sat down next to him. Then Mr. Roo and Lexi came in. "How was your first day?" asked Lexi.

"Fun and tough!" Brian replied. He reached over to a basket of fruit and pulled out an apple. Lexi walked in and sat down. Brad sat next to him on the left. Mrs. Roo handed handed out dinner. A nice helping of berries and nuts. And a topping of grass. And for dessert pumpkin.

Brian had himself a good helping of pumpkin. It was his favorite dessert. He and Brad then walked to the bathroom to brush and wash. Then they walked to the bedroom. Brad once again face planted on his bed. Brian snickered as he slipped his collar off and got ready for bed.

He leaned down and grabbed his pajama pants and slipped them on. Brad did the same. He walked back over to his bed and laid down. Covering up. Brian did the same. Then Lexi, only she laid against the head of the bed, covered up. Brian got covered up, flipped the light and fell asleep.
