Chapter 22

Rain and hail pelted the ground and water. Waves smashing against the sand. Kyle came through on his radio. "Brian, alert everyone. The beach is noe closed due to a severe thunderstorm."

Brian pulled out a megaphone and made the announcement. "Attention everyone. Due to severe thunder and lightning. Bondi Beach is closed."

He blew his whistle and constructed people to get out as some of the other lifeguards did. People began to leave. They quickly ran back to the parking lot and left. Brian went along the shoreline to pick up the flags and signs and returned them back to the storage.

He walked back to the tower and grabbed the keys to the locker room and changed, then called Brad. He arrived a couple of minutes later. After they drove back to his house, where they waited for the storm to stop.

Chapter 23

Brian, Lexi, and Brad all sat in his room watching TV, and playing a board game. The rain continued all night. Right in the middle of watching a movie, the power went out. "Oh, great." Brad moaned.

"Now what are we supposed to do?" Asked Lexi.

Brian got up and looked around for some candles and flashlights. "Well. We can always think of another way to keep ourselves entertained." He came back out of the kitchen with a lit candle which he placed on the dresser. He handed Brad and Lexi a flashlight.

"Hm. We can always play another game. How about Guess the Actor?" Brad suggested. He got up and walked to his closet and pulled it out.

Lexi got excited. "Sure. I and Brian love that game." She helped Brad get it set up.

"Alright, since I haven't really played this game, you can go first." Brad said.

"Ok." Lexi said, picking up the dice. She threw them down and moved her piece. "Comedy. Ok, Brian, this comedic actor played one of the main characters in this 90s movie."

"Easy. Zane Zebra." Brian said. "He played the second protagonist in Too Dumb."

Lexi nodded. "Yup." she took a sip of water and handed the dice to Brad.

He rolled and moved his piece. "Comedy. Alright, Lexi. This actor starred as the secondary character in the 1987 movie Encyclopedia."

She thought for a moment and immediately said the answer. "That's easy. Brian's friend Anthony seen him once. Robert Cow."

"Correct!" Brad said. He reached in a bag of tokens and handed them to her. He then handed Brian the dice. He rolled and moved his piece. "Ok. Sci-fi. Alright. Lexi, this actor played a guy named George in this 90s film."

"Umm... Timmy Tiger?" Lexi made a guess. Brian nodded. "Yes."

A couple of hours later. Everyone went to bed. It continued to storm overnight and stopped by early morning, allowing Bondi Beach to open.
