Here is next chapter. Do enjoy :)

Thank you for the nice words. This is my first time trying writing something like this. I have big plan for this and I have planned a sequel for this already. In that we follow Tyson and others XD and include elements from this in it if that makes sense :)

Chapter 2: Hiwatari Mansion, First Meeting And Coffee

-With Bruce-

During the first week Bruce had become good friends with Shin, Frank and Judy but he hadn't seen Susumu at all. Bruce didn't even know what Susumu even looked like. Shin couldn't help either because human's looks change over the years either a little bit or a lot.

Shin did promise to inform them if he ever saw Susumu while in town. Now, after the last class Bruce was stretching. Weekend had begun and Bruce was happy about that. Shin had asked them to come with him to meet with Mr. Stanley Dickenson after school.

Shin had informed them that he was the leader of BBA, and he was an old acquaintance of his parents. BBA had thousands of shops around the world selling beyblades, beyblade parts and other merchandise. Mr. Dickenson was also known for his friendly personality.

BBA had three main buildings in Japan, America and Russia. As they arrived at the main building in Japan Bruce was amazed. Building looked amazing already on the outside and he wondered what the insides would look like.

'Follow me. Let's go in,' Shin asked them to follow him through big glass doors. They got in easily and were able to find Mr. Dickenson easily and to talk to him. Bruce saw brown-haired man with glasses behind a big desk.

'Hello. How are you doing Shin? How are your parents?' Mr. Dickenson said with a wide smile.

'Hi. They are good. Let me introduce you. These are Bruce Granger, Frank Kimura and Judy Tate,' Shin answered happily.

'Nice to meet you,' Mr. Dickenson replied. Bruce liked the people who were smiling. It calmed him down and lowered the par while getting to know the person. Suddenly, there was a knock and brown-haired boy came inside. He was slightly shorter than Shin.

'These are the last papers,' boy stated quickly.

'This is Taro Wilson. He comes here after school to help a time to time,' Mr. Dickenson explained.

'How are you?' Bruce asked.

'Quite well. I heard you behind the door, so I know your names,' Taro said.

Judy sat down on the nearby sofa, 'What should we do now? Do we just talk here now?' Everyone was quiet for a minute when Bruce told his idea or rather a need.

'I would want to find Susumu actually,' he said.

'Why?' Judy frowned.

Mr. Dickenson surprised them, 'Do you mean Susumu Hiwatari?'

'How did you know that? Do you know him or something?' Shin was puzzled.

'Not personally but I have heard about him, or rather about his father when it comes to business,' Mr. Dickenson answered with slightly sad expression.

'Can you tell me where they live? I would like to meet him,' Bruce asked.

'I'm not sure that is possible, but you can try. It can't hurt,' Mr. Dickenson answered.

-Hiwatari Mansion-

Mr. Dickenson gave them an address which led them to other side of town. It was very big area and they finally saw a big mansion.

'At least they are not missing any money,' Bruce chuckled a bit.

'Susumu seems like really spoiled child if you ask me,' Judy crossed her hands. Shin poked her to the side slightly. Bruce stepped through the big gate others following him and headed towards the front door. Bruce slowly rang the doorbell and they waited. An elder butler opened the door and asked what they wanted.

'We… um,' Bruce began, 'Is Susumu present?' he kept the question short. He was getting nervous. Butler didn't say a word for a while, and it was nerveracking.

'Wait for a moment sir,' butler finally spoke and left from the door. Bruce and others glanced at each other.

Soon after a woman appeared at the doorway, 'My son doesn't want to meet anybody today. Do you want to leave a message?' Bruce glanced behind the woman and saw a tall boy who was standing in shadow. Bruce was able distinguish that boy had long hair. Bruce wondered if he was Susumu.

'Could you tell him that we would just like to talk?' Bruce simply said but he hid his disappointment. Woman just nodded and closed the door. As they left the door too Bruce kind of felt that there was something wrong with the family. The butler followed to the gate and led them outside.

-Inside The Hiwatari Mansion-

The butler waited for the kids to step outside and closed the gate after they were on the other side. At the same time other servants were cleaning the yard by brushing small stones and leaves and taking care of flowers. Inside a man was sitting at the table reading a newspaper. He had a black hair and was a rather big man.

'Who was at the door?' man took a cup pf coffee and took a sip.

'Couple of boys and a girl. They were from the same school as Susumu,' woman answered calmly.

'Where is Susumu now?' man asked with very frowned expression.

'At the same place as usual, in his room,' woman replied. Man stood up and walked to the stairs past the boy who was still standing in the shadows. At Susumu's door man just opened the door and saw Susumu sitting still on the bed. He had pale expression on his face with no emotion.

'You're going outside tomorrow to tell those brats not to come here anymore. I don't want to see them here anymore,' man said. Susumu stared back with death glare without saying a word. Man ignored him and closed the door. Susumu spent the rest of the evening inside his room just sitting in the bed. He was leaning against his own knees and kept looking out of the window which was locked tightly. Susumu stared at the moon and if someone would look into his eyes they would see moon in them.

-With Bruce After Coming Home-

The evening came over the Japan and Bruce was sitting on the bed. Taro had suggested going to movies next Saturday and it meant tomorrow, and everyone had agreed on it mostly because they had nothing else to do. Bruce had to save time for schoolwork too and specially for the math because he didn't understand it. He wondered if he should ask Frank for help. In the end he decided to close his eyes and relax the rest of the evening.

The next morning arrived quickly and Bruce stood up quickly since movie would start at 12 am. He had slept in and had to run towards the movie theatre. Shin and others were waiting for him there already as Bruce arrived.

Judy laughed, 'Did you sleep in again?'

'Yeah, sorry,' Bruce said and apologized. They stepped in, bought snacks and drinks for the movie. The movie lasted two hours but it went really quickly. After it was over, they stepped outside Bruce stretched his arms with others following him.

'Was that a good movie?' Taro asked smiling.

Shin answered excited, 'It was indeed. I haven't seen a movie like that before.' At the same time Frank was stretching his arms, back and neck too. Suddenly Bruce noticed a figure behind the corner of the movie theatre.

'Who are you?' Bruce asked and others moved their gazes at them.

'Is that you Susumu?' Shin asked behind Bruce's shoulder. Frank also stepped forward to see the person. Figure stepped outside of the shadow, and he looked tired and pale.

'It looks like you have spent a lot of time inside,' Frank noted.

'Where have you been?' Shin asked with serious tone, but Bruce stepped in front of Susumu without giving Susumu a chance to answer the question. He looked Susumu a bit and it looked like he had something to say.

'Is there something on your mind?' Bruce asked.

'You wanted to see me? What do you want?' Susumu sounded pissed and cold.

Judy coughed, 'Shin asked you a question. Mind answering it.'

'Home, outside but not in home,' Susumu glazed at Judy with narrowed eyes. Shin came closer and had worried look on his face.

'Why haven't you been in school? You are very smart and could pass everything easily,' Shin asked.

Susumu didn't answer anything to that, 'Hmph, I do have something to say to you. Don't ever come to my house again.'

'Let me guess. It was your father who told you to say that,' Shin growled.

'What do you mean by that?' Bruce was shocked as were others.

Shin explained quickly, 'One time in primary school I accidently heard that his father orders Susumu and whatever he does. Even yesterday your mother game to the door and not you.'

'Think whatever you want. I would quit school if I could but since I can't, I don't bother to come,' Susumu backed away and began slowly to leave.

'Wait a minute,' Bruce grabbed his wrist. Susumu turned around angry, but Bruce decided not to flinch.

'You don't have to go. We won't come to your house again, but your father can't ban you for spending time with us. Why don't you decide yourself what you want to do?' Bruce stated quickly. Susumu froze still and kept his eyes on Bruce. No one had ever said that to him before.

'Why do you care?' Susumu asked.

'Unless you haven't realized but you are 16-years-old and you can decide things yourself,' Shin spoke this time. Bruce let go of Susumu's wrist and Fank and Judy stepped next to him.

'Susumu, you decide what we do next,' Frank suggested. Susumu was about to decline but noticed their looks and specially Bruce's expression. It was different from other people.

'Fine but just this once,' Susumu finally sighed and put his hands into his pockets. Bruce smiled and jumped behind Susumu and others did the same. Bruce pushed Susumu forward to start walking and they followed him for a while. Bruce noticed Susumu walked with a clear place in mind since he looked like he knew where was going.

Shin jogged next to him, 'Where do you spend time when you're outside?'

'Here,' was a short answer from Susumu. They had arrived at a calm looking coffee shop. After stepping inside Susumu headed to the counter and ordered a cup of black coffee. After others got their own drinks, they went to sit with Susumu as Shin went to get breads too.

'Are you his friend?' waiter asked whispering as he gave Shin the bread.

Shin stared at Shin for a while before answering, 'I'm on the same class as he is. Why?'

Waiter whispered, 'I'm worried about him since he doesn't take care of himself.'

'Is there anything else?' Shin asked quickly.

'This is probably not appropriate to ask you, but would you be friends with him?' waiter asked behind the counter. Shin simply nodded, took the bread and headed towards the table where others were already sitting. He put the breads on the table and sat next to Frank.

Judy took a bread out of the plastic bag and took a bite, 'This is quite good.' Other took bread too but not Susumu. He kept his eyes towards the window.

'Eat at least little bit,' Bruce pushed the bread in front of him. Susumu moved his eyes down to the bread and looked at it but took it slowly. They sat there two hours talking among themselves while Susumu kept looking outside. There was dark outside as they finally left the shop. Dark clouds were gathering in the sky, and it looked like it was going to rain.

'Should we go inside?' Bruce asked just as a limousine stopped in front of them. Driver stepped outside and opened the back door, 'Your father is telling you to come back home.' Everyone watched the man with puzzled looks and followed the situation. They watched Susumu step in the car without saying a word.

As the limousine left Frank poked slightly Shin on his side, 'Is something wrong?'

'I have to tell you something what I heard from the waiter back there,' Shin said.
