"I hope Aunt Cherry's okay as dad did encourage her to explore the island, you know?" Timmy whispered to Tommy.
"Yeah she might need help, she is shy plus what if Red tricks her into buying his art?" Tommy whispered back while their dad and Isabelle were talkijg in the office yet both male kits were under the table not paying attention to what the adults were saying more concerned about Cherry hoping she was having a good time exploring.
It was late afternoon and business was slow in the Nook's Cranny so both kits hoped they were goijg home soon so they could see how their aunt had spent their day seeing their dad stunned they were under the desk astounding him, how they could get under there, guessing they were bored and tried to amuse themselves excited hearing they were going homesoon hearing their dad tell them to go get some hot cocoa at the Roost.
"Alright dad, don't work too hard." Tommy said as he and Timmy hugged him before running off making Tom smile.
"You seem distracted, is everythijg okay, should we stop for today?" Isabelle asked him, seeing him shake his head.
"Just thinking as Cherry my cousin ishere from Sakura Island, a little worried, she's a bit shy." Tom replied.
"Sakura Island that's very far from here, no wonder she would be shy." Isabelle replied to him.
This made Tom surprised looking at the map which Isabelle was showing him guessing she had a point so would try bonding with Cherry when he got back in a while hoping she was alright and that the boys had probably ran into her breathing deeply getting back to work hearing a customer goijg to tend to him or her.
Cherry smiled curling up on the couch feeling exhausted from her adventures exploring plus had talked to Brewster in the Roost knowing that her cousin would be proud of her and saw Timmy and Tommy home wondering if Tom knew, hearing them say their dad was working overtime askijg her how her day had went, impressed she had went to the Roost along with talking to Brewster knowing this was a god start.
"Is your dad alright, why didn't he come with you?" she asked sounding worried which the kits were picking up.
"He's okay just workijg overtime as always, he might be home late which normally happens." Tommy reassured her"
They heard knocking on the door making Cherry nergo us, not realising it was other billagers leaving welcome gifts for her unaware Brewster had told them about the newsr villager of sorts feeling surprised they would do this, hearing her nephews telling her that the villagers were friendly and welcoming, guessing she was not used to this which made them curious.
"It's alright Aunt Cherry I guess you're not used to this." Tpmmy told her
Tom was understanding as he returned home from work, guessing Brewster had met Cherry so had told the other villagers about her which made him smile as he was ordering in dinner for them, making Cherry surprised by this seeing Tom going to give Timmy and Tommy a bath to wind down for sleeping in a while which Cherry found sweet seeing her nephews going to the bathroom with their dad guessing they were going to have fun.
"Wow, all the gifts are amazing, this never happened back home." she said softly.
After a while of hearing laughter and splashing, she saw her nephews in pyjamas hugging her, seeing her cousin chuckling because of his kits antics seeing the food was here making them excited, going to the kitchen sitting at the table only Tom's eyes widened seeing Sable had given Cherry a gift makijg Timmy and Tommy exchange a look makijg her confused.
"It's nothing cuz, don't worry about it." he reassured her eating quietly.
Cherry then squeezed his paw gently, which helped smiling a little.
