"What's that, a package for the boys." Cherry asked.
It was morning at the upstairs apartment in the Nook's Cranny, and the postie had brought a package for Timmy and Tommy from their birth-mom, Tina which made Tom very flustered, going to the attic finding a chest opening it which was full of packages from Tina over the years, as he hadn't wanted to reveal to his little Nooklings they had been adopted in case they might freak out and get upset which he couldn't bear to see.
After doing that, he went back to where Cherry was in the kitchen makijg tea for her and Tom seeing he was quiet guessing it was about the packages listening to him explain why he hid the packages making her understand thinking it was sweet how much he cared about his boys very much knowing they might understand seeing Tom frown.
"Please don't tell them, I don't want to see them hurt or upset." he replied softly.
Timmy and Tommy wondered what was going on, as their dad was quiet not knowing why he was upset or that they had a package from their birth-mom eating lunch makijg Cherry sigh, she hoped that they would not figure it out assuring them their dad was alright relieving both kits as they were leaving to help Tara catch butterflies makijg Tom chuckle in reply for the first time today.
"Somethijg's up with dad, he and our aunt were acting strange at lunch." Timmy said.
"Maybe he was stressed, from working too hard." Tara replied.
Timmy and Tommy guessed she had a point, as they were catching butterflies with nets being careful not to hurt anybody with them, which their dad had told them about making Tara excited.
"Thanks guys as they're going to make awesome pets." she replied to them.
"You're welcome as we know your mom would not let you have a shark." Tommy told her seeing her nod.
