GH5 15: The Search.
10:15 AM
Dad, aunt Candace, Layla, Isaac, Copper, Adam, Chelsea, Emma and i walked through the forest with the sheriff, the cops, and the town's people in search of Connor. Among the people were Adriana, who i had called, Harper, her Mom, her Dad, who had brown hair and brown eyes, and Seth. We didn't eat breakfast before everyone came out to help us look for Connor because we didn't feel hungry. I know that's not healthy, but let's be honest. Who could eat in a time like this? Connor was probably somewhere starving right now. It had been eleven hours since he had been reported missing, and i knew we had to find him before those eleven hours turned into 24.
Seth wore a yellow short sleeve t-shirt, his black watch on his right wrist, blue pants, and black sneakers with white laces and white trims.
"Connor!" Chelsea called. No answer.
"Connor!" Adam called. still nothing.
"Connor!" Emma called. No reply.
"Connor!" Adriana shouted with her hands to her mouth. No response.
"Connor?!" Dad called.
"Connor?!" Aunt Candace called.
"Connor?!" Layla called.
"Connor, where are you?!" Isaac called.
"Connor?! Hello?! Are you there?! Answer us! Connor?!" Harper called.
Still no answer.
As we ventured through the forest, i thought about everything Adam and Chelsea had shared with us earlier about their son. Connor claimed the Bog-Man had pushed his sister out of a window in 2020. Now, Connor had vanished. But where to? Where did he go? Where was he now? People didn't just disappear, they had to go somewhere. But where was Connor? Where? I then started thinking about Harper's research about R.L. Bogman and the hidden passageways in the house. Then i started thinking about the mystery guy living in the walls of the home? Could he have been the one responsible for Connor's disappearance?
"Hey!" Came the voice of Seth, snapping me out of my train of thought, and i looked to see him now walking along side me and Copper. "Where were you just now?" He asked.
"Seth. Oh, nowhere, i was just...i was just thinking." I said.
"About what?" Seth asked.
"Suppose what Harper said is true? Suppose there really is someone else secretly living in the house and is living in the walls of it and is getting around through the hidden passageways? Someone who's supposed to be dead." I said. I hadn't shared the information of the mystery guy living in the walls with anyone, as he had threatened to take Harper and Seth if i did. But finding Connor safe and sound was more important than keeping a psycho's secret, especially if that psycho was the one that took him.
"R.L. Bogman? The dude that was arrested for the disappearances of five boys in '84 and escaped prison on Halloween night-1988, and was later presumed dead?" Seth asked. "Awesome. I wanna see him."
"No, you can't. He threatened to take you and Harper if i said anything." I warned.
"Hey...he can take Harper anytime." Seth said.
"Seth, this isn't a joke. Besides, even if i could tell anyone, there's no way they'd believe me." I said.
"Seems to me you only got one option." Seth said.
"I'd love to hear it." I said.
"I'm glad to hear you say that." Seth said. "Say bye-bye to the dude in the walls." He said before he began to fill me in on what i should do.
