*Another drop*

"Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn't stop for anybody."

- Stephen Chbosky, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"

Never thought in Wanderer's life that avoiding someone is hard.

It's not avoiding really, more like ignoring, as the following days the two went back to simply reading in silence. It's like their back to the first time they met.

And today, the Wanderer is talking to the "administrator" again.

"Then give me the reason why I need to do that! It's just that simple!" Frustratingly yelled the Wanderer.

"I can speak much, my child. All I could say is you must restrain Es before it's too late." The Structure replied.

"You said before that I should not trust Es. Why?"

"You can't fathom to understand what I'm gonna say, even if I try, my child."

This has been gone for a while as Rex wouldn't tell the reason behind all of this, and what's worse, it's that part of the Wanderer whispers to her that they are right.

In anger, she immediately went for the door back to the library and smacked the door closed in satisfaction.

"That's quite the strength you showed." Es called out from her counter the Wanderer assumed.

She… Is she talking to me?

The Wanderer marched in and faced the girl. Those stoic expressions she always showed in front of her.

For some reason, she doesn't like that expression she proclaimed beauty a while ago.

"Want, ahem. Want to continue where we left off?" The Wanderer asked. "It's been a while, you know?"

"You mean to go on, then."

"Yes."

"I, meanwhile, have been thinking nonstop about who I am."

"You do? But, I thought we established that." The Wanderer asked, puzzled. "You are you, existing in this world."

"Am I not the only existence in this world?" Es countered. "I think, therefore I am. I'm right here. What could be any clearer than that?"

I… don't like where this is going. "So… you're agreeing to what I just said?"

"But what if this is all just my dream I shaped?"

No...

"That Façade… and you, too, are mere dreams."

The Wanderer's mind freezed right there. Hearing such a proclamation with no hesitation?

"What are you talking about Es? I am real. I'm real like you." The Wanderer nervously laughs, "Is this some kind of joke? Cause, it's definitely not funny."

"Those words you spit, can be my imagination. My dreams. Because I, alone, am real.

"What proves to you that I'm not real?" The Wanderer asked.

"What's your proof that you are real and not a mere dream?" Es rebutted in.

A simple question.

But the Wanderer found herself hard to answer.

"Well?"

"Es, wait-

"Ugh. They're coming this way."

Why Rex!? Your timing is just fantastic!

"I'll be off, then."

The librarian declared by closing her book, and heading off to gods knows where she'll go.

"Es!?"

"Anyway, they're only... I'm... the only one..."

"Es, would you please notice me before you go to wherever you are going behind those shelves!?"

"Keep saving up EGO and I will see you soon."

The librarian was about to leave when the Wanderer practically yelled behind her.

"Es!" There's a sound of pounding as the Wanderer hammered both of her hands on the counter. "I don't know what's going on in your mind right now. But! Please… would you say anything that could possibly make me act in a million possibilities?!"

"We could talk to each other, when the time comes. Until then, I'll be waiting, my Wanderer."

And the silence stretched as the only sound present was the clanking of the girl's shoes before it faded slowly.

"... What just… What just actually happened right now?" The Wanderer speaks to no one.
