Hello everyone! I want to start off by apologizing for the long wait, but I'm so grateful for your patience. During this time, I was able to finish the school year, and get a lot of life stuff completed. I also ran into a bit of writer's block with this story, so while I wrote plenty of other Haikyuu stories, I couldn't for the life of me continue this one. But now I'm back! I'm glad I was finally able to do this chapter justice and I'm so excited for the next chapters. Now, enough from me, enjoy! Also, happy pride month!

EDIT- This chapter has not been proofread yet. If you see any mistakes, just let me know and I'll fix them.

"It's done. We're set up."

"Good. Who's got eyes on Bokuto?" Kuroo asked.

"Working on it now, Sir. He's still inside his compound, but a source tells us he'll probably be leaving soon."

"Alright. Dismissed." Kuroo spoke to the few people who were around him but reached out to grab Yaku's arm. "You and I need to have a conversation you're not going to enjoy."

"Understood, Sir." Yaku knew what kind of position he had put himself in by going to Seijoh, but Iwaizumi was the only person he trusted to pull their little stunt off without causing casualties. Kuroo released his arm. They would deal with this later, they didn't have time now.

Kuroo wasn't exactly surprised that the man had contacts in other families. Hell, he had spies in just about all of the families himself. What surprised him was the fact that it was the co-leader of Aoba Johsia, and that it was completely undocumented. How this "friendship" came about was beyond him and that needed to change.

He chewed his bottom lip as he walked through the long, winding hallways of the Nekoma compound, making his way to where Akaashi was. He was nervous about this plan. He had kept the circle of people who knew of this as small as possible, but having a double agent this high in the ranks of his enemies? It would be fatal if it went wrong. Not only would Nekoma lose Akaashi; they would start a war with Fukurodani.

"Akaashi?" Kuroo called through the door, knocking a couple of times.

"Come in, Kuroo-dono."

"How are you?" He asked politely, gently opening the door.

"Changing my mind." Akaashi replied without looking at him. Kuroo froze, he was afraid this would happen. He didn't want to force Akaashi to do anything, but now that things were in motion, they needed to see this through. At least the first part of the plan. If Akaashi wasn't in this anymore, there was no way this would look convincing. What the hell was he supposed to do now?

"No, wait!" Akaashi startled when he finally spun around to see Kuroo's face. "I meant about my outfit." Kuroo felt like he literally deflated as Akaashi tried not to laugh.

"I thought about wearing this," He gestured to the blue dress he was currently wearing, "but then I had a thought."

"Go on."

"I thought about wearing Fukurodani's colors when Bokuto-san "rescued me," but now I'm thinking I'll wear Nekoma red for the rescue, and then switch to Fukurodani's blue when you hand me over." Kuroo winced at the raven's choice of words; even though he was technically correct.

"It has a nice sense of symbolism; I'll give you that." The boss said instead.

"I agree. Help me?" Kuroo raised an eyebrow at him before realizing the shorter man was pointing at the zipper on his back. "I have a better outfit that will kill Bokuto anyways." He said evilly as he turned around again.

"Then it should kill all of us." Kuroo chuckled as he undid the zipper for him.

"That's just a bonus. Which one?" Akaashi held up two different red shirts for the boss to examine.

"Whichever one you'll be able to move better in."

"You are aware of what I do for a living, correct, Kuroo-dono? I can move in anything." Akaashi jeered at him. Kuroo shook his head at him but pointed to the top in his right hand anyways. "This one always was one of your favorites."

"It's fitting considering this is the last time you'll be wearing something for me. At least for a while." Kuroo's eyes softened at the end of his sentence. He really would miss the other man. Nekoma was about to go through a major change with him leaving.

"I won't be far. I'm sure I can convince Bokuto-san to let me come and perform on occasion. Just think of the Club's admission price when 'Special Performance by Akaashi!' is the title." Akaashi kept his usual face, but Kuroo knew him well enough to see the water forming in his eyes. Most people wouldn't think of the Mafia as anything to cry over when you were leaving, but this was Akaashi's family. Without them, he wasn't anything, destined to die on the streets. Nekoma took him in without expecting anything from him. That's why he had happily continued to perform for them for all of these years. He had gained and lost many things over the years, but he never thought he would lose his family.

"You're not losing us." Kuroo said firmly. When Akaashi stared at him with a look that questioned if he could read minds he continued, "Who knows you better than I do?"

"Maybe Kenma." Akaashi said softly.

"He always did, didn't he? I tried to get him to be here, I'm sorry I failed."

"No, it's probably better this way. I don't think my heart could take it if both of you were here." Akaashi looked at the ground, "If he told me not to go, I wouldn't."

"I know, 'Kaashi." Kuroo put a hand on his shoulder, "Blue Moon?"

"You remembered."

"'Course I did. I know what they mean to you. To the three of us. Blue Moon if you're good and Black Sun if you need out. Give the word and we'll be there." Akaashi gave him a small nod and accepted the hug when Kuroo gently used the hand on his shoulder to pull him closer to him. Akaashi sighed into the taller man's chest, he would miss this.

"I'm going out for a few."

"Hmm? Where to?"

"Old friend called in a favor. I shouldn't be long."

"Wow, the great Iwaizumi still owes people favors?" Oikawa teased him.

"You're not one to talk considering how many you alone owe me." Iwaizumi playfully snapped at him.

"That would hold a much greater threat if I wasn't a master of distracting you and getting out of those debts." The brunets smirk widened.

"One day, Shittykawa." Iwaizumi shook his head at him.

"I look forward to that day then." Oikawa giggled at him, not giving him a chance to finish the threat. "Be safe?"

"Aren't I always?" Iwaizumi smirked.

"If you were, I wouldn't have to remind you." Oikawa's voice was scolding, but a smile tugged at his lips at his words. Iwaizumi opened his mouth to retaliate, but Oikawa waved his hands in a shooing motion. He knew that if they didn't part now neither one of them would get anything done and would start there bantering with each other for the rest of the way.

Iwaizumi gave him a look to indicate that this wasn't over but proceeded to spin on his heel and marched out of the door. He pulled out his phone and quickly sent a text as he walked. He still didn't fully understand why Yaku wanted his own family members to be attacked just to end up being "rescued" by Fukurodani, but he didn't really care. Yaku had held the favor he owned him over his head for years. He was happy to finally be rid of it. Besides, he figured he could probably wiggle something out of Kuroo in return for this at the right time.

Bokuto had wandered around the halls of the Fukurodani HQ for a few minutes to clear his head after his conversation with Yamiji before finally giving in to the work he knew was waiting for him in his office. He nodded his head at the guards that remained outside as he pushed the door open. He signed as he entered, it wasn't like his office wasn't nice, but Bokuto just couldn't find himself to actually like the room. It was spacious, had a nice view outside of the windows, had an ungodly number of shelves and draws to keep him organized, and a large desk. It really was a dream office when you thought about it, but all Bokuto could think about were the memories of him and Yamiji in this room. At first, they were good memories, but they soured as the man had gotten older.

Bokuto scared at the scars on his cheek as he grabbed the new reports that had been left on his desk and stumbled over to the cozy couch pushed up against the far wall instead of dropping into the chair at his desk. His mind wandered back to his meeting with Terushima and the Johzenji leader's hidden room. He really needed to get himself a place like that just as soon as he figured out what earth-bending shit Terushima had down to get the secret door to open just by feeling adjoining wall.

Bokuto shook his head, not unlike how a puppy would, to clear his head of those thoughts. He needed to focus on these reports. At the end of Yamjij's reign as the boss of Fukurodani, he has grown paranoid and made rash decisions. One of those decisions involved the rapid increasing of Fukurodani's family members and territory. The members loved it, after all, it sounded like they were so much larger and stronger now- truly a force to be reckoned with. However, that was only on paper. In reality, Fukurodani had expanded faster than the family could handle. They were pushed all the way to the brink of collapse before Yamiji suddenly decided he wanted to retire and threw Bokuto in as the new boss to clean up his mess. There was a reason that Bokuto kept offering men to protect or assist the other alliances, he couldn't keep them! No matter how you looked at, Fukurodani could not continue operating with their current resources compared to the number of men they had. So, Bokuto got clever. Everyone wanted men, every alliance wanted some extra protection or people to handle some manual labor. Bokuto knew that if word of their unstable situation got out, they would be in danger of being attacked by other families that wanted to overthrow them.

Bokuto's plan was simple, step one- make allies and offer them enough manpower that he knew they wouldn't be able to refuse the offer. Step two- gain the much needed resources from the alliances he created while those families now housed his men. Step three- take advantage of Fukurodani having less men to grow the family resources as they continue to grow at a more reasonable pace to ensure that they remain stable. The boss was impressed with his own plan, he had to admit. With this in motion, the demand for resources on the family would decrease while his stockpiles could grow at a much faster rate due to the resources he received from the other families. The best part of this was that he could do all of this without revealing any weaknesses to unfriendly eyes. There was no one besides Bokuto who knew of the precarious situation Fukurodani was in and he planned to keep it that way. He was the boss, and this was his burden to bear.

He hummed at the numbers he was seeing as he scanned the reports. A fair number of his men had already been moved into Nekoma's territory for them to use as they wished. The loan from Datekogyo had started coming through, and soon he'd start using Johzenji to secretly move some product for him to further catapult his profits. So far, everything was going according to plan.

A sharp knock at the door drew Bokuto out of the depths of his mind. He rubbed at his eyes before calling through the door for the person to enter.

"Forgive the instruction, sir. We need to leave for the meeting soon." Bokuto recognized the man as a member of his security detail and scoffed at the words. He knew that this was coming from Kohona even though he knew he told the man to get some rest.

"I'll be out in a minute." Bokuto informed the man. He gave a small bow and exited the room. Of course Kohona wouldn't just get some rest. He wasn't actually hurt or anything, but Bokuto knew he must be tired after being on duty for so long. He tried to convince himself that Kohona wouldn't be waiting for him outside, but he knew that wasn't true. Bokuto stored the reports and walked out of his office to start the trek to his next meeting.
