A/N I must admit I'm living for these reviews right now x love you all x

"Your Mother doesn't like me anymore it seems" Paige whispered sadly as Walter passed her a cup of tea. "Of course she still likes you. You're just nervous that's all. It was a hard night" Walter replied kissing her cheek.

Paige gave him a look "She called me the Whore of Babylon and told me to keep my Harlotry to myself inbetween repeatedly telling me I'm not good enough for you and accusing me of just being after your money. I must be reading into that too much then hmm?"

Walter winced. It wasn't often his mother had an negative opinion of anyone but after her comment last night about Paige not being good enough for him Walter found himself believing his mother capable of such harsh words as he couldnt deny that she'd taken a dislike to Paige at that moment. Louise had been careful to make the comments out of everyone else's earshot so far, but now he was going to watch her like a hawk. If they had to leave early they would. "Sorry" he answered "I'll talk to her".

"Sweetheart don't worry it's not your fault." Paige frowned before continuing "I'm going to go out for a bit. Do some shopping." She looked down at what she was wearing "I need some more... Well you know". Walter gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead "D-do you need any help?" He asked softly. "No I'll be OK...I think the time alone will do me some good... Allow me to process you know? I love you" she kissed him "I'll be back later today" she kissed him again more deeply this time "Hurry back" Walter whispered trailing hot kisses down her neck "I can't bare being away from you too long"

"Where is It?" Louise asked as Walter joined her in the kitchen. Walter was confused and immediately started wondering if he'd forgotten something. "Where's what?" He asked innocently. Louise slammed the dish towel she was holding down on the counter before facing her son angerily "You know what! That Whore you brought into my house!" She shouted angerily.

Walter stared at his mother for a moment in shock. It seemed they were going to have that talk sooner than he thought "Don't talk about her that way. She's the love of my life Mother. She's made me a much better person- she deserves respect" Walter demanded. Louise huffed and slightly stared out into the fields before continuing the argument "You don't know then hmm? Probably back with him already the filthy sl-" "THATS ENOUGH MUM!" Walter raised his voice to Louise for the first time ever "She's out shopping because Tim destroyed her clothes" he held out his hand "and before you start she's using her own money" he finished.

Having Heard the raised voices Sean rushed in. "Whats going on?" He asked concerned "It doesn't matter we won't be staying much longer" Walter declared. "I'm going to pack my things. When Paige gets back we'll go elsewhere. She doesn't deserve the treatment she's been getting" "Walter please" Louise begged "Can't a mother want what's best for her son?" Walter looked back speaking sadly before leaving the room "Yes mum. But that's not what you're doing"

Walter rubbed at his eyes furiously. Angry at himself for being upset. It wasn't like he was close to his parents before. He just thought perhaps this time things would be different. Now if anything things were worse then ever. He wished for once everything would be less complicated.

A sudden knock on his bedroom door brought him out of his musings "Go away Mum" he answered automatically before turning back to his packing. The door opened anyway. "Its me" Sean announced "can I come in?" Walter shrugged "It's your house" he sulked.

Sean sat down on the bed and patted the space next to him.

"How are you doing lad?" "Fine I guess" Walter shrugged and sat down but didn't look at him. Sean didn't blame him. They'd not been the best of parents recently. Sean knew he should try better. He failed Walter. He didn't know much about parenting but he recognised that. "Dont go yet" Sean asked to Walter's suprise "I'm going to speak to your mum. She doesn't have all the... facts. She didn't see what he was like."

Walter rolled his eyes at his father's words. "She knew enough" Walter fumed "She saw Cabe's face when we came back" Sean looked at Walter in suprise "You mean Paige didn't tell you?" Walter looked back at his father in confusion. "Tell me what?" Sean took a deep breath. Knowing this could make things worse but needing to be honest with his son.

"I was the one that hit Cabe".
