Christine drove to Langley; she was thinking about how to do it, then she decided, what would Dad do?

She parked her car, and she walked through the front doors. Everyone knew you didn't walk into Langley; you had an appointment. You had a handler.

Having someone walking in was a highly unusual item. The cameras had the facial ID the AI would make quick work of it. There was a series of alarms on the higher floors of the CIA; Christine Booth had walked into Langley looking for someone to talk to. Finally, a middling agent walked up and said, "Ma'am, can I help you? Are you lost? We really don't do walk-ins."

She walked over to the agent and said, "You've got five minutes to help me. After that, I'm going to go public. And I'm going to tear down this world. I don't care."

The agent was a little bit taken back. "Okay, let's just rephrase it. Get me, Danny Beck, right now! Her voice carried through his mic that had been open and on an open channel. The calling for Danny Beck echoed through suddenly silent hallways. A voice came through the agent's piece. "This is Beck. Can you verify that it's Christine Booth?" The agent looked at her and said, "it looks like her" looks like her. Again, the voice askew, "is she carrying? The agent asked Christine, "Are you carrying a weapon?" She nodded her head, "Yes."

"Okay, I'm coming down.

So, four minutes later, Danny Beck comes down with eyes alit with fury "your insane girl! I was your father's friend. I was Father's buddy. But you just can't walk in here and make a house call."

With dead eyes, Christine said, "you know I don't do house calls. Do you have an information suite? We need to talk."

Danny brought her to the information suite on the second floor. And she began telling him the evidence they had collected over the last few months. As Danny sat with a shocked look on his face, he would type on his phone. His encrypted phone that he held on to and slowly but surely, analysts from other departments would come in and sit listening as Christine would give an overview of the case. Names, dates and then finally she passed over a pen drive; "this contains all the transcripts of the recordings made by the now-deceased Hannah Burley." Then there was a shutter in the room. One of the analysts said, "They killed her."

Christine said, "no, they didn't just kill her. They tortured her. I have her on the slab in the Jeffersonian right now. We have HER positive ID, and I'm sure she's been tortured she's been They've used tortures On her. She turned to Beck, "think of the worst tortures they did it all that you know very well back begin to read it Do you know what variety of torture information gathering. They broke her feet. They broke her arms, her hands, gave her several heart attacks, and resuscitated her. Her face is broken. Analysts sat there blushed. Couldn't believe the brutality. "If you want pictures of the autopsy, I can give them to you, but they're not getting much better than what I'm explaining."

Beck then, "Did you do the positive ID? She nodded. "I did the preliminary work. Then I called my mom, and I knew you wouldn't trust me to be this close to the case. My mom, there's no one better. Beck, holding his head, thumbing through the material that had just been printed by one of the analysts, popped up. "you got to be kidding me. This is far worse than I thought."

Then Christine looked at him and said, "Worse than you thought! You guys are the CIA! You guys had to expect to be something this insane.

Danny continued, "your father, with your mother and the rest of the gang at the Jeffersonian, cracked a major case of blackmail and corruption years ago. That ended with the death of one of your father's closest friends, actually a kind of surrogate brother, Dr. Sweet. This is the same thing; these names are all related to that original group; These are all related. This is an attempt by the same group of people to get back what they felt was their inheritance."

Christine nodded. And said, "Well, we all have an inheritance. I inherited a good mind and hopefully a steady heart from my parents. But we're going to take these people down."

Then Beck said, "but we can't do it. We don't do Nation based work. It's the FBI. And considering all these people, the FBI is not going to be helping anytime soon. Christine asked; I met an Agent Smith this morning. He was of great help, he called in the body. Can you confirm that the fake agent was one of yours? Was he one of the shadows that you had on Hannah and me? I'd like to thank him because it wasn't for him. We'd never find the body." Beck says, "I can't confirm it."

"But I could suspect it, and that's why he didn't care if he was blocked and what would happen afterwards. Agent Smith will end up having to go somewhere else for a while because there's going to be retribution.

One of the analysts who's going to the material quickly shut it out, " Beck stop. This is way bigger than we thought."

" What do you mean?"

"The one who met with Hannah Burley is Scott Gordon, the secretary of state; he was former FBI. He's a big player in this game. He's talking here about taking down the Jeffersonian. He's talking about having his revenge on the whole family. This is ugly. This is really ugly."

Beck says quickly, "okay, this is really great material, but what are we going to do? We needed to call up a special assistant to the director of the CIA."

Within moments, the top brass walked into the room. They all stood up. They asked them to sit down. Beck, You understand what predicament we're in right now."

Danny Beck nodded his head, "Listen, Booth and I, we trained together; he helped me out, I helped him out on some of these cases. We were somewhat close. The director didn't like what he was hearing. The guys who had been in special forces fought with Booth. We weren't happy that no one was really investigating Booth's death. And when they threw Christine out of the FBI, we were a little more upset."

" Understood."

" But this proof here is insane." At this point, the assistant to the director said, "but we can't legally act on it."

Then One of the analysts said," I have an idea. Forget about the Booth angle for a second. The Secretary of State is a risk to the President? The three other analysts began going through the material, and they said if he's involved in a coup of sorts, that would be treason against the Nation. This is assistant to the director understood, who nodded his head. "Exactly." We're going to have to go down this road to turn back and catch the rest. Who can be our foot soldiers? We can't do it ourselves. I'm going to have to speak with the director. I'll be back with you in 15 minutes. A half-hour later, There was a video link there were two faces. There was a Secretary of defence, and the President looked furious. We quickly went through your material. We'd like to thank you, agents and Doctor Booth. I have directed the Secret Service to take over this investigation element. I've spoken with the director there will be a covert element of this because I will not let this slide. Too many good people have been ruined by this; Too much evil has happened. But we also don't need it in the media. Imagine if it comes out that the FBI tortured to death a prized journalist in the Nation's capital this would be a disaster of epic proportions. So, I've authorized different elements on a volunteer basis to begin to clean up. We'll be using Gitmo as our hospitality suite for these individuals, and then we will find out if there are any more roots to this disgusting conspiracy. I'd like to thank you again, But we cannot be seen together. The President turned to Dr. Booth. You have been a very courageous young doctor. Please go back to the lab and guard those remains figure out any evidence that can be used. We are still a country that believes in justice and the rule of law. But we need to make sure we get these individuals. The link was terminated.
