The hallways of mckinley high school is crowded in between classes as usual. A plumpy cute black girl walks to a boy who is standing by his opened locker. Mercedes looks at Kurt as he sprays his hairspray . 'Hey baby! Doing your hairspray routine?' .

Kurt turns to her with a slight smile,'As you know, ' cedes'. Mercedes notices a slight sadness under just smile. 'What's wrong with you ,boo?why so upset?'

Kurt stands there thinking for a minute 'uhh...nothing'. Mercedes puts her hands on his cheeks and turns him over to her. 'Spit it now' she says. Kurt takes a deep breath and says,' Well,I took part in the online auction for some clothes online and I lost it' he says it even more sadder.

Mercedes gives a laugh -' You will never change Hummel. And that is why I am your best friend'. Kurt smiles back -'Come on! We will be late for the class'.He pulls her through the heavy corridor.

Mercedes and himself has maths as their 2nd period. Kurt has no problem with his academics . He excels in them with an average of 4.0 G.P.A. What awes some of them is that Kurt dresses so fashionably and they know Kurt makes most of them. He is a charming boy with smooth skin due to his skin routine, kind hearted , perfect hair . But,his happy place at school is the glee club. Kurt loves singing and acting and that is the only place he can show both.

Afternoon comes and the glee club members are sitting together in their usual lunch spot. The whole school considers them nerds and weirds and are discriminated. Kurt takes his food tray when he gets a call-

'Oh hey Carson! How are you? You did forget me ,didn't you?'Kurt speaks

Kurt's twin brother is on the other side ,'Hey Kurtzie! Busy?'

'Yeah Carson,I'm in school. Wanna talk?'

'Yeah,if you can'

'I can spare .it's lunch here. How are you doing in New York ,your dreamland?'

'Pretty well! Paving way to become a writer for new York Times, Chicago Times, become a columnist. Working hard for a G.P.A of 4.2 . I haven't made more friends. But I feel like I escaped from a jar. I hate lima for god sake ! How is dad and carole?'

'Yeah,dad's eating healthy though he hates it and carole is doing good. She's sweet. And you should watch your tongue Carson. You need friends.'

'Not when I have you as my best friend' Kurt get slight tears in his eyes.

'Fine,I wanted to see you Carson.i miss you'

'I miss you too,kurtzie .I miss carrying you on my back. And hey,I might be coming to lima after 3 months'

'Seriously? I am waiting for you.I love you.'

'Love you buddy,take care!'

Finn stands behind kurt with his tray.'Carson?' 'Yeah finn,he might be come to lima after 3 months' kurt says. 'That's great! ' finn says and goes to sit with rachel.

Kurt joins them too and notices them chatting about something. 'What's are you guys talking about?' Mercedes sees him and moves for him ' we are talking about camping. We are planning to go on a camp'. 'Where?' Kurt asks.

'Near the bank of Ottawa River. There is a forest area' Artie says. 'You're going Artie?' Kurt asks suspiciously.

'I am. Sam ,Mike and Puck said they would be coming and helping me.' Artie says .

'Are you coming lady lips?'Santana asks.

'No,I have auctions online.i can't afford to miss them'kurt says. He eats fast and gets up for the next class. He walks through the mckinley hallway to his locker. He feel a bad vibes around him. He turns as he senses something wrong. He finds himself rubbing his shoulder in pain after he gets hit by azimio.

'What's up fag?' Says Azimio as he laughs and kicks kurt. He moans in pain ,but doesn't say anything. Kurt finds himself terrified . He finds his legs burning as he sees azimio leaving with a victory. He gets up and pushes himself to walk to his next class. Tina sees him as his face turns red with anger,helplessness ,pain and tear.

'What happened?'Tina as she rubs his shoulder. He controls his anger and says' I want to come with you guys for camping.I love to' and he walks fast to his next class. She is surprised.

'Mercedes, I cannot believe he wants to camp with us. And he's acting weirdly lately' Tina says as kurt walks in for the glee club.

'Hey boo! Did u say you wanted to go with us?' Mercedes says.

'Yes,any problem ?'Kurt snaps and he regrets soon.' I am sorry effie. Bad day'.

'That's okay Kurt,let's go for a shopping after class' Mercedes says.

'Sorry boo,I am busy today. Maybe any other day?'Mercedes nods with frown as kurt says this. The glee club gets over and kurt gets into his car.

He drives far away while playing some melodies on the radio. He is not listening to them as his mind is preoccupied with hurt ,pain and his love towards his mother. He reaches to a place and steps out as he walks through fresh grasses with flowers. He sits near a tomb stone and breaks out suddenly.

'I..I can't mom! I can't anymore! I am trying to cope up with all the shit they throw on me everyday and I am trying to handle it. It gets out of hand and I don't know what to do'. Tears falls like a cascade on the tombstone of his mom as he hugs and lie on the tombstone. He spends a good hour lying on the tomb. This gives him a sort of good comfort after a bad day.

'Oh ,and mom,Carson may come home after three months. I am waiting and I am sure you want to see him too.' kurt says as he got up,smiling. He looks at the tombstones,feeling a little healed and goes back to his cat to drive back he. Kurt does this twice in a week.

His mom died when he was 8. He still remembers the news,the funeral,him lying on Carson's shoulders. Carson didn't want to stay in Lima,he thought it was not the place for him. Though he didn't want to leave kurt,he thought that was good for him and forced his dad in pursuing his studies in new York. He is in a boarding school. So,it is kurt and his dad from then. Burt got a heart attack in Kurt's sophomore year and that shook kurt a lot. Burt and kurt are coping up together with kurt being extra protective on his health. Burt married Finn's mom carole earlier this year and it was one of his happiest days

Though carole is like his mom and a friend,nothing can replace his mom. He writes a diary to his mom everyday,telling all his thought and his days.his mom knows every little secret of kurt. Carson became busy and couldn't be in every occasion with kurt. Kurt feels lonely sometimes though he writes to his mom.

He drives home and enters the house. 'Hey honey! You're home'Carole greets him with a smile. 'Want something to eat?'

Kurt smiles and looks at her,' uhh...yeah.i'll come back after refreshing' he says and notices that finn is missing. He remembers that finn is in the football practice. He walks up and just lies on his bed .

He realizes that he wishes for a person whom he can hug close and tell him that he loves him . He just needs a shoulder to cry on.
