Lima Town is in the season of sharing. Snow has started to come as an uninvited yet adorable guest. People start to decorate their households, neighbourhoods, and their shops with serial lights, ribbons, bells, and other things. The Hummel shop is no exception, the employees there are decorating for the seasonal greeting and Kurt is ready to help them -for some distraction and of course, his extra pay. He can't think of decorating his house- It reminds him of Carson as Carson would never miss any of the Christmas holidays to stay with his lovely brother.

In fact, Nobody at the Hummel house thinks about it. Does this thanks-giving season spare him from all the harm? Absolutely not! and Like a cherry on an ice cake, The cold weather and snow add themselves to make Kurt more miserable- He uses a shitload of concealers and it is clearly starting to damage his porcelain skin. But he isn't gonna stop applying it anytime soon. It is his necessary evil.

Dave couldn't see his friend, reaching another level- getting drunk. His pain is getting so intense that drinking and cutting are his only way of escaping. It's been a month and a half since Kurt and Blaine met each other. Kurt comes to know about Blaine's drinking problem through David.

Do you think Blaine doesn't know about Kurt? Mercedes has been updating him. It was when She called him suddenly, one fine day to the park. Mercedes showed the school journal to Blaine and he was in complete shock. He hated the fact that the paper is calling Kurt a slut, and hooking up was not true. Blaine could have burned that paper with his rage but Mercedes stopped him as they needed it for the evidence. Blaine was happy that his friends are helping him, but there is a part of Blaine, that desperately need to help his secret boyfriend.

Blaine's and Kurt's grades are dropping at school because of their problem and everybody is surprised. Blaine's dad has been getting so many complaints about Blaine and every time he gets one, Blaine is called to his house and Blaine gets a dose of beatings and wounds. His clothes are a shield now for Blaine, He always wears full-sleeved clothes, as before.

Little did they know that The coming Christmas is going to change everything.

Kurt sends a text message to David conveying 'done'. Blaine is researching lawyers just in case Kurt would need at any point- Blaine suspects Kurt is getting terribly harassed.

We have reached December 18. This is the first time after a month and a half gap that Kurt comes to the park again, waiting for his man. But no sign of him. Maybe, he's stuck up in the regionals practice.

It's been 5 days- Kurt comes to the park: The Lima park which is decorated by the snowflakes, lights, and snowmen that the children are making. Kurt's skin isn't approving this weather, yet waits for him. He decides that the wait is over and he decides to call David.

David has no idea as to where Blaine was. Blaine was going somewhere right after school but comes back quite drunk often. Kurt picks up David to search for Blaine. The winter break starts from that day for Kurt and he needn't have to worry about getting late. They search in every place they know, In Lima and Westerville.

After an exhaustive search for 2 hours, they sit in Kurt's car.

" Oof, it's been two hours. Where did he go? Dave, any other places?", Kurt in a tired state.

" Let me think, I'm quite tired," Dave says in a drowsy voice.

" I'm sorry, David. I'll buy you some Lemon chai, wait" and Kurt gets off his car. This gives David some time to think and indeed, he got struck by a thought.

Kurt gets into the car after buying when David bursts out his thought," Maybe we should search in bars and pubs. Do you remember me telling you that Blaine has developed a drinking habit?"

Kurt doesn't want his man to be in a bar, in a pathetic drunk state. But He has no choice, But to agree with David. And thus, their search for Blaine continues, till they stop at 'Ray's Place'. They have to excuse themselves and sneak in as children who are searching for their dad, which is so ridiculous to hear because they are obviously not related, not even in a remote way in their looks.

Kurt couldn't believe his sight. He sees his all charismatic Blaine, in a miserable state, knocked out by the drinks. They run towards the chair to hold Blaine when the bartender demands them money. Kurt pays it and catches Blaine's hip and Dave's hand on his shoulders. They have to practically drag him to their car and the task is made quite difficult as He is a little heavy.

Both Kurt and David can't digest their sight, having a drunken loved one on the back seat is pathetic to watch. No words are spoken during the entire journey, it's just their eyes talking and body movement or just whispers. Both of them know that they are getting into the climax and it's high time that they use their secret weapon.

David gets down and rushes to their dorm as they reach Dalton. Kurt keeps staring at Blaine in concern: He just want to hug him, give him the world's most passionate kiss and tell him that he's gonna be alright, but It's just a dream

David rushes again to the car, handing a bag to Kurt's hand.

" Here, Take care of Blaine. And update me of the happenings, Kurt. I am all ears any time." David assures.

" Yeah sure, David. Happy holidays, David. Drive home safe!" David nodes and pleasantly shake Kurt's hand into the window as Kurt wishes him, " You too, Kurt!"

David sees the car leaving, anticipating the next update.

Kurt is exhausted with all the driving, searching and of course, the weather itself. Kurt can't stop looking himself at in the rear mirror, It has like his OCD. Snow is making his travel difficult .but Kurt somehow manages to drive through the snow and reach his house. He gets down to help Blaine get into the house without disturbing anybody. He opens the back door and as he tries to pull the mumbling Blaine towards him, Kurt slips and falls on Blaine himself, feeling the warmth of his body.

Kurt regrets falling on Blaine and tries to straighten himself, when he notices being pulled, being pulled by Blaine. Blaine is holding Kurt's collar in his subconscious state and the next moment is unexpected- he pecks a small kiss on Kurt's cheek, Kurt can still smell the alcohol in Blaine's breathe, and he is getting nauseous. Just then, Burt opens the front door from the inside.

"Hey, buddy. You're late. What happened?"

"Dad, Blaine is drunk. He cannot help himself. I will tell you everything. Can we let him stay with us here for the night?"

"Wait, are you drinking now?"

"No dad, eww. I didn't drink. This is a different story. I will tell you, everything dad, I promise. But for now, can you help me?"

"Sure, go get the guest room ready, I will carry him and come" Burt assures.

Kurt smiles take his bag and leave the scene in the house. Burt pulls Blaine gently to get to a comfortable position and pulls his hands under his knees to lift him. It isn't a big deal for Burt until he reaches the staircase. The guest room is next to Kurt's and it's upstairs.

Just then Kurt comes cautioning," Dad you already had a heart attack. You shouldn't lift heavy things. Put Blaine down, please. I will help you."

Burt doesn't want to argue cause he knows Kurt was right. He lowers his hand to make Blaine stand and Kurt slides his hand around Blaine's waist immediately. Blaine can't help standing by himself, he is too drunk. Just then Finn comes in, gesturing for Burt to move and let him take his place.

Kurt and Finn climb the steps slowly dragging Blaine. They somehow manage to climb the stairs and make Blaine rest on the bed. Finn leaves Kurt to arrange things for Kurt. Kurt keeps hearing Blaine mumbling something in his breath. Kurt leans down to hear his mumble clearly...

"K-Kurt...Kurt...Kurt"

Kurt stays in the same position, still shocked. His name softly pricks his ear. Every time he hears his name, He feels his heartbeat rising, his hoping rising on one hand that Blaine might love him and his doubt on Blaine possibly being at least a bisexual rising.

No, Kurt. Don't make a fool of yourself again. He loves his girlfriend and he will never love you

One part of his mind keeps striking him with his thought, but the other side of his mind defends its opposite side and Kurt can't help it. He turns to walk away downstairs after pulling the bedsheet over Blaine, he couldn't keep one step further. He turns back, leans, and gives Blaine a kiss on his forehead mumbling-"It gets better, friend. Nothing's gonna harm, not while I'm around."

Kurt goes downstairs to find his dad, waiting for the promised talk, with Finn. Kurt sits down, finding words to talk before he suddenly breaks the silence-

"I cannot say more things now, Dad. I have to find what is going on with Blaine, dad. He is in trouble, I am sure of it. I want to return the favour, dad. I will tell you everything when the time comes, dad."

"Yeah, that kid seems to be miserable. Alright, I will trust you but you must promise me that you will tell once things are sorted, Alright?" Burt asks with concern for the other kid. Burt takes him as his son, especially when he helped his own kid to cope up.

"Sure dad. I would. Thank you for helping him. And I have to tell you something, Dad. We are going to have a guest tomorrow at our home. "

"Who is it?"

"It's a surprise, dad. She will be more of a surprise to Blaine. But I think guests are welcomed at home, ain't they? "

"Yeah, sure. Until they don't blow up the house is all my concern."

" No, dad. They will not. And please don't ask Blaine about his drinking problem, Dad. And you too, Finn." Finn jerks his eyes from the wafers as Kurt requests them.

"We won't, Kurt. Now go to bed, looks like you will get knocked out here". Burt trusts his son and he knows he is not doing something wrong. All he got to do is to wait for his words.

Blaine finds himself standing yet again in a white space after a long time. But this time, he wasn't standing, but lying on the floor. It is not just him, there is another figure lying beside him, smiling at him softly. His porcelain skin, his glasz eyes, His vanilla-scented perfectly coifed hair lying on a lawn of freshly mown grass, with fireflies flying like sparks around them. The whole ambience is great. Blaine tries to get up but he can't. He isn't disappointed, not when his hand is held tightly by the love of his life. Both lie on the ground, passionately looking at each other. Blaine can smell vanilla as he sees his firefly sight boy leaning towards him and suddenly...

Blaine feels his lips being stuck on to another pair from the familiar figure. Blaine enjoys the kiss from his boy, reciprocating the passion. And then suddenly, the boy of his dreams disappears as golden dust once again...

"KURT, KURT!" Blaine wakes up with a jerk in panic mode, shouting his name.

"Blaine! I'm here, don't panic", Kurt sitting there, beside the window doing something.

"Ahh...Where am I? What am I am doing with you?"

"Well, You were knocked down by booze and I don't know where I should take you. People were crowded at your school, and that's not a safe place clearly, so I had to bring you here."

" I am sorry,kurt. I gave trouble. I am going."

Kurt comes close to Blaine, holding his hand.

" It's Christmas eve, Blaine. Having my friend staying with me this time is such Bliss. Can you stay for me?"

Blaine thinks for a while before he opens his mouth, "Alright, just one night, cause I should be at my house tomorrow."

"Deal! So, do you have a headache or something?"

Blaine looks at the clock, checking the time. It's 1 pm. "Oh shit! I've slept for so long. "

Kurt is staring at him just like that. "Oh no, Kurt. This slumber is more than enough. I am hungry." Kurt spontaneously gets up and nods as he leaves the room saying, "I'll be back."

Blaine rests there on the bed, rubbing his forehead and eyes, trying to regain his memory but in vain. All he can remember is the drinks he was having and the dream just before he woke up. He scans the room all around and notices something to be different. The room is almost decorated with ornaments-bells, figurines, etc. He is sure that it's Kurt's work.

Kurt walks in, pushing the door with a tray. "Seasonal treats are being served!" Kurt says enthusiastically in a sing-song tone. Kurt places the tray on the table.

" Thank you, Kurt. You are the best. But why are your eyes red? I was the one drunk." Kurt can see Blaine getting embarrassed, he doesn't want to ask honestly.

" Sleepless night. Thinking of all last-minute decoration ideas." Blaine can see Kurt is laying. And he is, though he was exhausted. He strangely couldn't get his sleep and all he did was to check Blaine now and then, well to see him sleeping adorably like a baby.

" Blaine, Your bag. I got it from your dorm. Go, get refreshed, and have your food." Kurt hands the bag. Blaine loves brushing his hand again, it's getting difficult for him to hide his feelings day by day.

All his bathroom time goes with his body put on auto-pilot mood to go the needful and let his mind wander on what to say if Kurt asks him why he has been drinking or why Kurt didn't ask me still. Blaine has to make a move to start living his life devoid of lies, but don't know-how.

Blaine comes out to find Kurt doing something beside the window. Curious,he goes near Kurt and looks over his shoulder. "What are you doing Kurt? "

"We are not having a Christmas tree this time because of you know... But this is the only way I can cheer up myself now."

"They are beautiful ,Kurt! Can I help you?"

" You can after we have our food. I am hungry too. " Blaine sits on the bed having his food and forcing Kurt to take some, but Kurt keeps on refusing. Kurt sits there eating his bowl of salad. The rest of the afternoon goes with Kurt decorating the guest room and Blaine staring at his perfect ' Boyfriend' as he talks about the ornaments and his connection.

The evening arrives and Carole calls them for some snacks. Soon the living room is filled with Burt, Carole, Kurt,Blaine and Finn. Hot chocolates and cookies straight from the oven are served. Blaine stays there, having his snack while he sees Kurt leaving the room ,upstairs.

20 minutes later ,Blaine excuses himself upstairs. He stops at Kurt's room and peeks slowly through the slightly opened door. Kurt is hanging some ornaments and tiny perfume bottles on a decorative thread hanging from his window.

He gets lost by the sight he is seeing- His gorgeous face, his focussed and pondering face ,hanging through the memory lane.

Blaine feels a heavy hand rest on his shoulder." Kurt is doing this after a long time since his mom's death. I still remember like yesterday, when I forgot to buy a Christmas tree that year after his mom died and little Kurt was having his own Christmas decoration by hanging these. Those perfume bottles remind him of his mom's scent. " And indeed Kurt is showing the signs of enjoying his mother's scent.

Blaine turns to see whose hand it is . Burt is standing there, smiling presently."Why don't you go and help him? He will be pleased ." Blaine nods and enters the room.

" Oh hey there Blaine! I am going to ice skate this night. Care to join me?"

"Uhh...I don't know to skate Kurt." Blaine says with embarrassment.

"Consider yourself lucky. Cause,I'm gonna be your tutor this night and I have got a surprise for you!"

Blaine looks at Kurt, trying to know what it is. "Don't even try Anderson. You are coming with me to find." Blaine has to node ,forcing himself to wait. The rest of the hour went with Kurt and Blaine decorating the room and shooting some random facts and laughing.

Kurt and Blaine get downstairs , biding goodbye to the living room residents. Kurt drives the car the place where are supposed to go. Blaine thinks that the place is the surprise. He drives with Kurt, without knowing that it is a person.
