It was the end of September and everything was going well for the trio. Dash was leaving the three of them alone. "Sure if you buy a nice corsage," Valerie said secretly bummed Danny didn't ask and yet looking unfazed by Tucker asking.
"Who are you going with Sam," Danny asked as they slowed down to do a cool-down lap. " I don't know if I am going. Freshman year we had the dragon incident. Sophomore year a guy poured punch on my dress by mistake. Last year my date ripped my dress assuming I wanted to have sex in the parking lot. I peppered sprayed him when he wouldn't stop. That week flew by and they all agreed to go in a group. It would be the senior homecoming court plus Tucker and Valerie. Hopefully, for Dash's sake, he'll behave himself. It was a Black Notch Lapel Suit with a white dress shirt, red vest, red tie, red pocket square, black pants, black socks, and black shoes. What threw him off was the red. Her hair was curled with her princess tiara front and center. Each girl on the court was provided a crown. Sam would cringe at the white suit when she saw it.
At the lake, there was a canopy in which Star, Kwan, and their parents. Star had a white blouson payette sequin beaded gown with slit. Her blonde hair was in a chic bun with a tiny braid in the front and was wearing her tiara. She had a corsage done in daisies. Kwan wore a black suit with a white dress, white vest, white bow tie, white pocket square, a daisy boutonniere, black pants, and black dress pants. Kwan had the biggest smile on his face and Star would smile for the pictures then demanded to see them worrying they didn't turn out good.
The Fenton headed inside to find Tucker and Valerie awkward posing in front of the grand fireplace. Valerie was wearing her orange sheath skirt and is styled with a high-low chiffon overlay. She was wearing silver high heels. Her hair was out of her braids and styled a natural stretching technique. She wore a yellow carnation corsage with an orange ribbon on it. Tucker looks good in his suit! It was black with a white dress shirt, orange tie, yellow carnation boutonniere, vest or pocket square, black pants, and black dress shoes. Plus everyone said I needed to buy this dress except Paulina. She wanted me to wear a giant puffy cupcake dress" Sam said changing the radio station.
"You didn't have to do that. Any color you can pick would have worked. I know you wouldn't be running around in a sunshine yellow dress or a hot pink dress" he said as he pulled into the parking lot. Danny insisted on open her car door for her and taking her arm to escort her into the building.
The decorations were done in red and white. The music was pounding and a lot of the students were dancing. Tucker, Danny, and Valerie found a table to sit at. Valerie was saying something about how people were dancing, but Danny was ignoring her.
