Alec went in to see Max and Biggs went to command to see what groups were leaving or had already left. He was surprised to see three groups were heading out.
"Mole," said Biggs, "Three groups going out?"
"Four," said Mole, "I sent the first group an hour ago. Waiting on intel and then sending the next. They all going different routes as not to raise suspicion."
"Good." said Biggs, "How many more are there?"
"2 more groups and then we are clear except for a few stragglers." said Mole, "We are getting clear of here then we are burning the place down."
hours later Max pushed herself up from the bed and looked around trying to figure out where she was. TC "Bout time you're awake," said Biggs, smiling at her. "Alec will be back he out talking to Mole."
"Logan...
"He won't be a problem anymore," said Biggs, keeping his anger to himself.
"The others?" said Max, wondering why Mole was back here.
"Four groups have left today got two more to move out tomorrow and then the stragglers," said Biggs, knowing Max wanted to ask what happened at the warehouse but didn't want to know either. "How are you feeling?
"Been worse," said Max, Biggs taking the hint, knowing he didn't like when anyone asked how he was either.
SHOTS FIRED Max and Biggs both got up and ran from the room, They went in search of the gunfire. "Alec, what's going on?" asked Max, still not completely stable on her feet.
"We found the insider who Logan was paying. She dead..." said Alec, "and so is doctor carr."
"Wha...What why?" asked Max, wondering what she was missing.
"When doctor Carr wouldn't give you the cure, Logan had him set up for the kill," said Alec, wondering why Max was already up.
"Princess, The last 2 groups are ready to go." said Mole, "Once the stragglers go we blow this joint."
"Send them out," said Alec, knowing he was taking over for Max at the moment. "Max anything you want to take with you?"
"My bike," said Max, already knowing her jacket and fav things were already in her bag.
"Mole, make sure everyone in command in 20," said Alec, Everyone to leave no stragglers is to be left behind."
They went in search of all the buildings to make sure no one was left behind. When Alec came upon Asha's body lying against the building, She had a broken neck. She never made it out of TC. She had been caught and it had to have been the one person that Logan had been paying.
The new TC Original Cindy was walking around the new TC and couldn't help but feel unease. Something wasn't right but she didn't know what it was. Seeing Joshua she walked up to him and saw he was uneased as well. "Hey Joshua, what's up?" asked OC, wondering what was going on.
"Something not right. Alec not here, and Biggs left with him." said Joshua, "Alec went to get Max. No one finds her."
OC now knew why she felt uneased. She knew something wasn't right and it was because her homegirl wasn't here and she knew if anyone could find her it would be Alec.
She grabbed her cell and called Alec, she needed to know if he had found her.
"Go for Alec," said Alec not bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Alec," said OC, "Have you found Max."
"Yes, she is safe now," said Alec, wondering if she knew what had happened. "We are on our way there now."
=============== few hours later Three vehicles pulled in to find a crowd gathered waiting for them. They welcome everyone who came out of the vehicles happy to have everyone here. The only ones that weren't there were Alec, Biggs, and Max. OC and Joshua weren't happy until they heard the Bikes. They knew their leaders were home, now they could say it was home.
Alec watched Max dismount her ninja watching to make she was okay without being too obvious about it. Max could feel his eyes but didn't meet his eyes. She didn't want him to see the way she was feeling. But she was happy to be here and away from TC.
Max went straight to Mole, and said "Thanks."
"No problem," said Mole, unsure of Max. She never said thanks and truthfully he was just glad she was ok.
"Mole, we need to know if anyone is missing," said Alec, coming up behind Max, lightly placing his hand on her shoulder to give her strength. "Someone isn't here and we need to know who? "
"OK," said Mole, wondering what was going on but knowing Alec would tell him at another time.
Dix was busy finding places for everyone to live. Alec already had a place, well him and Biggs. Alec had picked the only 5 bedroom house on the entire island. He knew he wanted to keep Max close and where max was OC was sure to follow. Which meant Sketchy would be there too.
Max walked around unsure of what to think about anything soon found herself on top of a water tower sitting there watching around her. She like the view here and wondered how she never knew about this place.
She tried not to think about Logan and what he did but everything was fresh in her mind. First, he betrayed Alec and then turned on her. She wondered why she didn't see it coming. Logan hated Alec and was always jealous that Alec could be there for her, as she was just like him. Alec understood her when no one else could or even took the time to.
She decided she needed to see where she was staying and find OC. She missed her homegirl and knew she needed to get back to being the leader of this group.
"Boo, there you are," said OC, smiling as she found Max. "Guess we are shacking together."
"Really?" asked Max, wondering who worked that out.
"Yep, your boy chose the biggest house which is more like a manor to house him, Biggs, you, me, and sketchy," said OC, smiling when Max didn't say he wasn't her boy.
Max started shaking a little from everything she had been through the last few days. OC hugged her and Max welcomed the embrace. She needed reassurance today.
"It's alright Boo. Oc ain't going nowhere," said Oc, turning Max to head towards their new home. "You need to relax."
"I don't know what I would do without you," said Max, smiling at OC.
"You never have to find out." said Oc, "Knowing she needed to get her girl to relax and rest so she can get better."
"Your boy will be looking for you," said OC, knowing Alec always kept eye on Max, even though Max was obvious to it.
"Princess," said Mole coming into the new command center. "We had one X5 and x8 series missing."
"Who?' said Alec, turning on his heels faster than Mole, could see.
"Brit the X5 and rit the X8." said Mole, "No one has seen Brit in almost 2 weeks, and Rit since three days ago."
"We need to find them," said Alec, already figuring they were already dead.
"Alec, Brit is dead she was found yesterday." said Biggs, "She was found by the ordinaries yesterday afternoon, by the Cale penthouse. She had needle marks on her neck."
Alec now knew that Brit was being paid because she hated the 09ers and she blamed max for her mate dying in the manticore fire. She hated Alec for not being his mate and having to be the mate to 473. 473 wasn't exactly the easiest or nicest man to mate with. He only cared for himself.
"We need to find Rit if he is still alive," said Alec, knowing he would try though he knew it was probably a loss cause he wasn't going to let anyone be left behind.
Would they find Rit? Did Rit want to be found? Was Logan dead, or would he come back? Who killed Asha?
