Blown
Chapter Five
"What we are going to be doing is head for the hospital first before going with the second option?" Gibbs needs to say with a lump in his throat.
"And what exactly are we going to be doing Gibbs with searching for Brooks?" Ray had to ask with annoyance in his tone of voice.
Taking a deep breath with a sip of his Bourbon. "We each take the three different floors to search for this Brooks. And if this doesn't work. We will then use my other idea with a friend of mine working in the personnel office to place our resumes to take positions as technicians since we all have experience?" Gibbs noted with a smirk on his face.
His two friends weren't too keen on the idea of actually working after retiring from the Metro police.
"And what happens if we see him, Gibbs, while we are searching the floors for this killer?" James Davidson had to remark with sarcasm.
"You know damn well what we need to do after killing Marcie's friend from way back and others that I am only finding further Intel on. I was afraid to say anything further to my wife about it since she was so set with wanting to come with me with this endeavor." he had to say on the subject of his very stubborn and self-worth wife.
The three of them chuckled slightly. While Gibbs asks for another round of drinks before paying the tab to get going on their search for a serial killer.
SOMETIMES LATER PARKING IN THE UNDERGROUND PARKING LOT OF THE HOSPITAL
Special Agent Gibbs was the first to enter the lobby with asking for a pass to visit a patient. Even though he had given a real name having broken into the database of the patient's listings.
He had moved up to the fourth floor to begin his search heading for the labs. No one bothered to stop him since it was late night and very few of the personnel from the day shift were around.
There was no one around when he stopped one of the personnel working or rather cleaning one of the x-ray machines. "Excuse me do you happened to know if Donny Brooks works on this floor?" he had to ask.
"No. Donny usually works on the sixth floor. He should be coming in soon, sir. Who should I say is asking for him?" The young technician in his early thirties will say to him.
"Just a friend that's all. Thanks for the information on Donny."Gibbs needed to have said when he left the fourth floor to head up to the sixth for where he saw Ray checking.
"Hey! What are you doing here Jethro?" Ray needed to ask him the question in a low tone.
"I just spoke with someone that tells me that Donny Brooks should be in soon on this floor," Gibbs said with his heart racing along with a lump in his throat.
They waited with sitting down acting as if they needed to have a test or needing to see a patient.
Moments later the elevator opened with the serial killer Donny Brooks walked out of the elevator as Gibbs and Ray walked up to him. He was able to realize just who the hell he was in the first place.
"OMG! I saw your boat blow Leroy Jethro Gibbs?" he cried out as a revolver was placed into his back telling him to move back into the elevator.
"Move already. We are heading out to the park Donny." Gibbs coiled with his comment.
"And what are you going to do with me there?" Brooks said needed to have said.
"Now what do you think we will be doing?" Gibbs cried out. "Now moved again before I shoot off you're god damn foot right here." he pointed his revolver moving away from his back.
Brooks began to move into the elevator with Ray having called Franklins to meet them outside of the lobby of the hospital in order to take their suspect outside to the park and to shoot him without any police presence.
Gibbs's heart was racing as Brooks waved to the security guard as they were walking out into the chill with the quarter moon now out from behind the clouds.
Ray opened the back door by placing the cuffs on Brooks with his wrists placed into his back making it a little difficult to sit in the back.
Franklins will be as with Ray to be leaving their vehicles in the parking lot before coming back later after they had finished up with their chore.
Driving to the Alexandria, Virginia park five blocks away from Gibbs house after taking the highway with very little traffic with the lateness of the evening. There were a few times that Brooks tried to fight the cuffs and the two men watching him while Gibbs was driving with entering the park with no security and moving to the area of the park with very little lighting.
"Get out Brooks?" Special Agent Gibbs ordered strongly with his revolver in hand with a silencer on it so that no one will be able to hear the noise of the gun.
Moving along to a bunch of trees with Ray and Franklins to be taking part. They had placed duct tape on his face while placing him up against the trees with a look of being scared. Even though he had no remorse for killing those six people during the past three years.
Gibbs fired as with Ray and Franklins as Brooks was hit in the head, chest, and legs to die instantly falling back up against the trees spatting the blood. They had placed a note on his body telling the police that he was a serial killer. It was written when Gibbs had placed on his gloves in order not to give any type of print.
"Let's get the hell out of here now before we get caught?" Gibbs needed to say with no remorse of shooting Donny Brooks.
