"Where do you get off sneaking behind my back Leroy Jethro Gibbs?" She had written something on a piece of paper in her hand.
She came over to him to leave it on the table for him to take a look at. "What the hell are you talking about Marcie sneaking behind your back? I told you that I had sent out the packages with Trent Kort's files?" he was livid. "SECNAV called me to say that he had received the package. What else is on your mind Marcie?" he will have to say to her.
"Look Jethro I have work that needs to be done and I need you upstairs to help me move things around?" She commented with walking up the stairs with her husband following.
Once he was out of the basement. She had shown him the bug that she was able to destroy. "I call McGee letting him know about this finding it in the living room bookcase. He will be here in 20 minutes Jethro."
"Why did you decide to use the wand all of a sudden?" he asks with concern in his stiff demeanor.
"I just felt after the packages were sent that someone might be listening in as you did at my office months ago? I think it's a good idea to be careful from now on. There is always a possible chance that Director Leon Vance will go after you knowing that Trent Kort had given you those files years ago?" she cried out with the response.
"No doubt he will Marcie!" Gibbs snapped at his wife before giving her a passionate kiss. When he broke the kiss to ask for the wand to check the basement once again for an electronic bug.
He had taken the wand with him to head downstairs to begin the sweep to find nothing at all feeling better for the moment. Even though he had been thinking about what Director Leon Vance is capable of?
Gibbs had gone back upstairs to see Marcie calling for Chinese food since she wasn't in any mood to have steaks this time. "Are you hungry Jethro for Chinese?" she suggested.
"Sure I am Marcie. Go ahead and call for me with needing the egg drop soup to be added as with the noodles. By the way, I found nothing down in the basement?" he exclaimed.
"Are you sure?" she snapped back with her angered response.
"Of course I am sure Marcie! What is wrong with you?" he snapped at her with the question.
"Damn it Jethro I am just concerned for the most part. I just can't stand it with every time you get involved with a case that something always happens. And now that SECNAV and others are behind in removing Director Vance from NCIS is a dangerous move?" she cried out.
"Look Marcie it needs to be done nevertheless. If Vance comes after me? I will at least be ready for him as with my friends that will be keeping an eye out on his location most of the time." he explained the situation.
"And what can I do Jethro?" after she was able to calm down a little listening to her silver fox husband.
"Nothing. I need you to listen to me and enter into the safe house to protect yourself and our baby for now? I know this is not going to be easy with your job and the Washington Post position?" he responded with a look on her face with not liking it one bit.
"No way in hell will I do this Jethro enter into the safe house and not be able to do my job." She was heading upstairs to lay down for a little while with the exhaustion setting in with her.
"I am going to be joining you with a bit of a rest Marcie. I will be right up with waiting for McGee to arrive to give him the electronic bug."
She left him to head for her nap. While Senior Field Agent McGee had arrived finally walking into the living room to see Gibbs working the fireplace.
"Boss is everything okay?" he will ask his boss and friend.
"Fine," he said with handing McGee the envelope with the bug inside. "There were no bugs down in the basement. Marcie found this one in the bookcase. I had no idea how it was able to get there in the first place Tim?"
"You do still keep the door locked?" he will have to say on the subject of his locking the door over the years.
"Of course Tim! That changed years ago. Thanks for coming. I have a nap to be taken having to be exhausted." Gibbs will comment to his friend not believing that he was telling him this in the first place.
He watched his friend McGee leave the house to head back to NCIS and the lab to hand the bug to Kasie to check out on whether she is able to figure out where it had come from for the most part.
Locking the door. He headed up to the bedroom. However, depending on if she is asleep. He was more interested in having sex with his wife.
Walking into the bedroom with the lights off. He had taken off his robe, slippers, and sweatpants to be nude completely. While getting on his side of the bed. Marcie turned to face him to not be asleep. "I missed you, Jethro?" she will say with love in her voice and demeanor.
"I love you, Marcie. I am truly sorry about earlier. I just hope to god that nothing is going to be happening with Vance?" he croaked out with his response before moving in closer to his wife to kiss her hard with an extreme passion...
