"I will stay boss." Mcgee needed to say to him with Gibbs taking out the extra steak from the fridge along with the mushrooms and onions. "What about Delilah and the twins?" Gibbs asked.
"They will be staying at her mother's place for the next few days. She knows what is going on and won't be saying a word, Gibbs." McGee exclaimed with a deep breath. "Tell me something how did you know in the first place that Andrews was working with Director Vance?" as he searches his reaction with seasoning both of the steaks.
"I had an inside man tell me by watching his movements with placing a tracking bug into his phone in order to trace his movements. He had several meetings with Vance at the local park every single time to set up plans to kill me or suspend me with setting up the dog ring leader with me getting angry to punch him out with Bishop trying to knock me off him," he says with annoyance.
"And you never even gave that apology to Bishop after that incident either boss?" Tim replied by watching his friend work with the steak while heading for the kitchen to put together the baked potatoes and salads.
"No. I never had the chance to make the apology with Inspector Coyle having placed me under arrest with the charges." he cried out with coming back to the chair to work with the two steaks. "Speaking of which Tim have you heard anything from Bishop after leaving for Bulgaria with Odette to rescue the children and Marines from the rebels?"
"Nothing for me. But I do know that she had text Nick telling him that she was on her way back to see if she is able to repair her relationship with him and NCIS. What about yourself?" Tim commented with sitting back up against the couch.
"The same text, even though she had said that she was coming to see me tonight at some point, Tim. I will be sure to be gentle with her and the questions?" he quoted with turning the steaks over.
"By the way how is Marcie doing Gibbs?" Tim needed to know for the sake of his friend and his mental state.
"She is going to be fine nevertheless with rest staying in the hospital until the doctors think the baby is going to be okay." he will say with extreme emotion coming out of his mouth and body language.
"I am so sorry boss this had to happen with Marcie collapsing from the stress of what has been going on the past few months and with Director Vance?" Tim was sincere when it came to his friend and boss having suffered a great deal during the past few years and recently with him having been shot in the arm and leg during an undercover operation.
"Thanks, Tim, I am hoping everything is going to be alright with Marcie and the baby. I don't know what is going to happen to me if and when something happens with the baby?" he cried out strongly with his emotions letting go for a change.
"I know Boss this is not easy for you after a number of years of pain and suffering on the job. Now that things have changed. I think it's high time that you finally try and take it easy at the Academy as an instructor?" Tim responded with the truth of nature.
"How well I know it Tim?" he said with heading into the kitchen with checking on the potatoes. He asked Tim to help him with setting the table with the essentials for the dinner and including placing the bottles of Budweiser onto the table, butter, salad dressing, and most of all the rye bread for the dinner.
"Everything looks good boss and smell as well?" Tim said with cutting into his rib-eye medium steak. Gibbs had taken a sip of his Budweiser bottle taking a large gulp with his cell phone sitting on the side of him.
There was further silence with both men enjoying their food nevertheless with nothing else said about the death of Director Leon Vance and the two inside the house.
"By the way how is Delilah feeling with the second pregnancy?" Gibbs asks.
"She doing really well Gibbs with having gained the weight to be 30 pounds, and having only one baby this time with all of the ultrasounds since the piece in her spine had been removed to have her walking with a cane now."
"I remember how bad it was for her with the both of us gone in Paraguay and being tortured?" Gibbs noted with McGee to say the following.
"How well I know it, Gibbs!" Tim said with taking a bite of his steak with the mushrooms. "I know how hard it had to be for you always being beaten and tortured for the two months until we were rescued."
"Do you know that the finger that was broken still bothers me after all this time?" Gibbs needed to have said to him by taking a large gulp with the Budweiser bottle.
"No, I didn't know this Boss." Tim needed to say to him with grabbing another bottle of beer. "Thanks, I could eat another half of a steak that is left on the plate he had made for them.
"Sure," Gibbs said with placing the half steak on his plate as a gesture for his friend.
"Thanks. I need to cook more often as with Delilah. Even though she cooks for the twins, while we order out as with the Chinese food." Tim will comment with a smirk on his face when it comes to his wife.
"You're blushing Tim?" Gibbs had to critically say to his friend cutting into the steak.
"I guess I am Gibbs. I just can't help it at times for when it comes to Delilah after all of the hard times we had in the beginning?" he noted with a slight grin.
