"Look Jethro, I know it's not going to be easy for you with the surgery. This will not stop you later on once you're able to recover. One thing you need to do is get your head on straight for when it comes to your partial retirement."
"Please! Will you stop it already with that subject? I know what needs to be done?" he cited with his response.
"Do you really Jethro?" she inquired.
"I understand what you're saying Marcie and I do love you nevertheless! Things like this are never easy for me after spending years searching for suspects with my job at NCIS." he said strongly with his emotions.
She is closer standing up a little to kiss her husband to make sure that he knows that she loves him as always. These past six months have been a real whirlwind when it comes to their romance. And this all started with walking into his favorite diner in order to get a story on his suspension.
"Do me a favor before Doc comes back to take it easy and behave while I am in my own room? I am hoping to head home sometime soon?" she noted with a slight smile showing on her complexion.
"It's not been easy trying to take it easy here as well with all of the distractions with everyone coming into this room with all of the tests for the surgery to be done?" he had expressed himself to his wife exhausted.
"Listen, Jethro, I am tired and in need of something to eat. Since you're not gotten your food tray as yet? I will head outside and wait for Doctor Taft to take me back to my room." she said withstanding up to kiss him again lasting longer before being interrupted by Cyril Taft ready to take Marcie back.
"Okay, enough Jethro. I am taking your wife back needing her rest? There is going to be another test coming up with the EKG to continued checking your heart rate. They will be here in a few moments. Understand?" he responded by rubbing the back of his head.
"I certainly do Doctor! Now be careful with bringing my wife back to her room?" he noted with annoyance in his tone.
Later with the rest of the tests done. It had shown that the oxygen levels with the heart valves have been shutting down to cause the pain in his chest and why he's going to have the double bypass within the next hour or so with Doctors Cyril Taft, Sinclair and Silverton are conferring with the best options in order to save his life.
Marcie was at home resting when she was given the news about the surgery after the fight she had in her husband's room and his cardiac arrest.
"Thank you for telling me," she said laying down on the couch missing Phineas and Lucy a great deal after he had given Lucy to Phineas.
While at NCIS...
Jessica Knight, Alden Park having arrived at NCIS late to the Naval Yards will be taking over for Bishop and helping McGee, Torres, and three from the night shift.
Alden Park and the F.B.I. came to help out with two of the NCIS team with Special Agent Tobias Fornell on vacation in Costa Rica for a month.
Taking the elevator up to the fourth level to speak with Director Anthony Lowry. For Knight to be told that she has been promoted to a special agent to be taking over for Bishop.
While F.B.I. agent Alden Park to take over for the region for all cases involving the Local Cartel and the recent Serial killer.
"Come in Special Agent Alden Park and Knight." the director needed to have said with a pile of paperwork on his desk since taking over for Director Vance.
"Sir, since Fornell is in Costa Rica, I need to know whether there is anything I should know for when it's involving the Local Cartel or anything on the recent killings by the serial killer?"
"Matter of fact I have an entire file that needs for you to read and to be updated Special Agent Park?" the director had to say with a slight smirk on his face. "As for you, Special Agent Knight congratulations on becoming a full special agent for NCIS instead of R.E.A.C.T., You're going to be working on this case with McGee, Torres, and Lt. James Brown in the morning." he hands her the file, as well as she, is told to read at home."
"Thank you, sir. I am just sorry this had to happen with what had happened with Special Agent Bishop leaving for Bulgaria?"
"Me too, Special Agent Knight. I just hope to god she is going to be coming back in one piece with the rescue mission?" he had given it away to both agents sitting in front of him.
"What is that supposed to mean with what you're talking about?" Jessica had to say to him.
"I have already said enough on the subject. I suggest that the both of you get out of here now and come back in the morning?" he noted with anger.
