Chapter 21th
Knight followed Special Agent Alden Park into the elevator to head downstairs to leave for the parking lot and the Naval Yards. "Wait up Alden!" she cried out to him with his silver hair just like Gibbs.
"What is it Special Agent Knight?" he sounded annoyed with being stopped.
"I really like to know just what had happened in Bulgaria? " I am begging you. She noted with walking out towards the entrance of the double doors to outside of the parking lot.
"Look all I know is the fact that Odette this ex C.I.A. operate was shot and killed by the locals while they were rescuing the children and marines from the compound. And why Special Agent Bishop had come back into the fold," he noted with a deep breath.
"Didn't she lose her job with NCIS after someone had placed the file from NSA?" she had said to him with exiting out into the chill of the air with a possible chance of rain once again.
"No, she didn't Jessica. It was all part of a plan involving Gibbs and Vance. Even though for Vance it was another matter with his treason against the United States government and NCIS. He was taken out for a reason?" he noted.
"And how did you know this Special Agent Park?" she was concerned with having to ask the question.
"There are a number of sources and Intel that had lead to Director Leon Vance to be killed in the process with the treason. There were a number of files that were sent to the F.B.I., NCIS, and SECNAV that had advised them of these facts in what Vance had done in the past," he exclaimed with closing up his black jacket.
"OMG! I just can't believe this at all? So my position as a special agent was mostly political?" she was pissed.
"It was Special Agent Knight, and there is nothing you're not able to do anything about it except go back to being a R.E.A.C.T. agent instead?" he cried out with his displeasure with the woman.
"No such luck Special Agent Park! I tend to prove to the director and everyone else that I am able to be doing my job, while you do yours during the time Special Agent Tobias Fornell is on vacation needing it after the death of his daughter Emily."
He turns to face her with venom in his eyes. "I tend to do my job Special Agent Knight! now if you will excuse me I have things that need to be done before heading back to the regional office," he noted with heading for his car.
He had driven out of the Naval Yards to meet up with his partner Jordan Montgomery at the diner the very same that Special Agent Gibbs attends. Moving into the parking lot of the very busy diner. He was able to see his partner sitting at the counter.
Jordan sees him coming over to him. "What took you so long to get here?" he cries out with sipping of his hot coffee his second.
"I was stuck at the Naval Yards speaking with the new director of NCIS. I have new cases to be involved with Jordan and I need for you to check all of the databases for why the Local cartel is out to kill Special Agent Gibbs once again ever since he was injured at Crystal Lakes to hide for six months?"
"Sure enough Alden. So the new Director really had your ear?" he had to say to his friend and partner.
"It wasn't that Jordan was the fact I had it out with a new agent named Special Agent Jessica Knight telling me that I need to be doing my job and vice versa."
"Really! Is this woman married?" Jordan will ask him since he's single and currently not attached to anyone at the moment.
"She's married and from what I know is very dedicated to her husband working at home for the past five-plus years for the Pentagon."
"That's too bad! Anyway Alden I will check it out at the office and I will let you know. But what are you going to be doing?" he commented towards his friend.
"I have errands to run for my wife Karen since she is unable to do with being in bed for a few days with the baby pressing. She is about ready to be delivering the baby boy in a few days."
"Aren't you nervous about it Alden?" his friend will ask him seeing his expression.
"Of course I am nervous Jordan. This being our third child at our ages now." Alden is 62 years old and with his wife ten years younger after having two boys in their earlier years of marriage.
They continued to talk for a few more minutes. Even though Elle finally had come on over after being really having to be short help. "Can I help you, sir?" she needed to say before he was able to introduce himself to her.
"I am Special Agent Alden Park for the local regional office for the F.B.I., I am taking over for Tobias Fornell currently in Costa Rica."
"Okay, and good luck with taking over? What would you like to have Special Agent Park?" she will have to ask him.
"I will have the scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries with toast, coffee, orange, and water please?" he said with a half-cock of a smile.
"Excellent! I will be sure to turn your order into the kitchen, while I will get your drinks?" she said with asking Jordan whether he needed anything else.
"I will have another coffee if possible along with a bagel toasted with butter to be a plain butter," he noted with his tastes.
"Of course as soon as possible!" she says with walking away to head into the kitchen to turn in the order.
