Chapter 25th

Special Agent Alden didn't bother to make the call for the nurse's station. "So what is it you want me to do anyways Gibbs?" he stood in front of him.

"Nothing at all. I just don't like to be podded by the doctors and nurses always looking for something new with my health condition. It's bad enough that I had the double bypass?" Gibbs barked.

"I don't understand Special Agent Gibbs?" Alden needed to ask with not understanding what he was trying to say to him.

"My friends, wife, and co-workers for years had been telling me that this might have happened to me with all of the stress I had been under with each and every case. But I just didn't listen to them and including recently with my wife Marcie telling me."

"But didn't your wife collapsed due to the stress unlike yourself?" Alden needed to reply with the question.

"She did and is home now resting. That's if she is resting while I am here recovering from the double bypass. My wife is very important to me Special Agent Park, what about Catherine?" Gibbs needed to know the answer to be curious.

"Of course she is Special Agent Gibbs after 20 plus years of marriage with two grown boys in the service and now that my wife has been trying to tell me the best news that she is pregnant with our third child after all this time?" he smiles thinking about it having to be her silver fox just like Gibbs.

"That's amazing! I was surprised to find myself to be a father as well at age seventy years old, even though Marcie is only 55 years old?" he smirks.

"I understand you had a daughter 30 plus years ago? Fornell had told me some of it with what exactly had happened with her death and your first wife. Even though now the both of them are alive with having to be hiding all of these years in the Witness protection Program from the Cartel leader Pedro Hernandez." he takes in a deep breath.

"Did he tell you who had shot Pedro Hernandez back then?" Gibbs signed with a deep breath with waiting to hear his answer to the question.

"No, he didn't Special Agent Park. I understand it was a long-range sniper that had taken put the Cartel leader at the time. Even though he was involved with killing my wife, daughter, and a NIS agent driving them. Even though as it turned out both Shannon and Kelly had called the Witness Protection Program to be taken to a compound in Italy for 24 years, and ten on their own with all new lives." Gibbs sighed mostly.

"Were you able to meet them, Gibbs?"

"Yeah, they did Special Agent Park. Kelly was the one to come and make contact with me while I was in the hospital as with Shannon. Having found out the complete truth. Kelly had been fighting with her mother for years letting her know that she was sick and tire of hiding and came to see me." he raked his hand through his silver-fox hair.

"Where does your daughter live Gibbs?" he will ask with all of the questions.

"Orlando, Florida with her husband Colonel James Hawkins of the Witness Protection Program with their two boys, even though my daughter is pregnant with her third child," he said with pride.

"My son Jack is in the Airforce down in Orlando at the Air Force base during the past three years as a pilot, while my other son Anthony is a Marine at Camp Pendleton as an instructor."

"When was the last time you and your wife have seen them Special Agent Park?" Gibbs will ask the question about his family.

"Prior to transferring here to Washington, D.C. and the regional office for the F.B.I." Special Agent Park will say with the information. "They were only able to stay a few weeks before heading back to California and camp Pendleton. "Weren't you there for when you're a marine?" he will ask.

"I was there with a lot of memories from over the years and many of those marines I have known are dead or having been murdered." Gibbs sighed with a deep breath having to remember about Laura Macy being murdered.

"I am sorry to be having brought up the memories of Special Agent Gibbs?" he said with emotion.

"It's okay, I am over those feelings since the case was closed years ago with the Cartel having to be behind it and so much more."

"It must have been hard all of these years with having lost so much in your life?" this was a question Gibbs didn't need to think about at all.

"It was Special Agent Park, but I was able to survive for the most part and with changing my life with the suspension and deciding to partially retire and with working as an instructor at the Academy." he takes a deep breath.

"Amazing! Special Agent Gibbs you're lived a rich life mostly?" he smiles with turning slightly.

"I highly doubt it. Besides, I have lost a great deal in my life. Lately, it was shooting Senior Field Agent McGee during an undercover operation, Breena dying from the virus, Emily from a drug relapse, Doctor Jack Sloane leaving, and then my suspension, along with the explosion of my boat with me being injured badly. My wife Marcie tells me that I was lucky to be alive."

"I say, Gibbs. When I was working in Northfork and other cities on different kidnapping cases. There was too much bloodshed with the different children being killed instead of being rescued alive. I had decided enough is enough and decided to transfer into the Washington, D.C. bureau. My wife Catherine had thought it was for the best with all of the stress between the both of us with our marriage."

"I assume things are better now?" Gibbs needed to ask...
