Chapter 33th
Marcie needed to breathe a little with stretching out in the back of the vehicle after being ordered by the D.O.D. agents. Her stomach had finally calmed down with the baby inside.
Lt. Janey Ascott's had to ask whether she was alright or not.
"I seem to be Lt. Ascott's." Marcie will have to say with her partner making the turn onto the highway heading for the Evergreen safe house.
Sergeant Miles Davidson looked through the rearview mirror to check on whether they were being tailed. "Is there something wrong Sergeant?" she had to say to him with concern showing in her voice.
"It's nothing. I was just being careful that's all." Sergeant Davidson needed to inquire.
Marcie had closed her eyes thinking a little too much in regard to her husband. When she was working on his story with the suspension she needed to find ways in order to talk with him. She just couldn't believe just how much of a pain in the ass he was. However, she changed her mind later on with her feelings deepening for the 69-year-old agent.
She felt a slight bump with Sergeant Davidson taking the exit with heading for the safe house. "Jesus! that was some bump?" she said.
"It looks like the state is once again working on the major roads?" Marcie cried out with sitting up now from Lt. Janey Ascott's orders.
15 minutes later they arrived finally at the main gate of the Evergreen safe house with Lt. Janey Ascott's with the paperwork to bring Mrs. Marcie Gibbs into the safe house. "Here you go," she said with handing out the paperwork and the passes in return in order to get in each of the sections of the safe house before reaching section E for where she will be staying.
"Before you go. Lt. Loreile Ann Baskins will be talking with you about the rules and regulations of the safe house. Your quarters have been stocked with your husband to be arriving soon in the Empress ambulance from the hospital." Lt. Joel Franks said.
"Thanks," Janey said while looking back at Marcie.
They moved off. "Do you know Lt. Baskins?" Janey had to ask the importance of the question.
"I believe she used to be Gibbs ex-girlfriend when he had come back the last time in Paraguay to be a real mess with spending two months in the hospital." Marcie needed to say.
"I am sorry to be hearing this Marcie." they had stopped at the first security checkpoint with showing the pass before continuing on to the next. "How did you wind up being Gibbs wife?" she wanted to know with her curiosity kicking in.
"It's a long story. Nevertheless, we both fell in love with each other during a very rough time of his life and the end of his career with NCIS." Marcie responded with emotion.
"What does he plan on doing now once he's feeling better and comes here to the safe house?" Lt. Janey Ascott asks.
"He's going to be an instructor at the NCIS Academy." Marcie cried out with the response before entering another security area and before moving again.

Doctor Cyril Taft had pushed his friend's wheelchair with making sure it was the real driver and technicians from Empress working for the hospital.
Gibbs's personal belongings were hanging on the back of the wheelchair while he was pushing his friend into the elevator. "I wanted to thank you, Cyril, for setting this up for me and my wife Marcie," he said with emotion pouring out of his heart.
"Just be sure that you're going to come out of the safe house alive?" Cyril Taft was concerned for his friend with the doors opening to be heading for the entrance of the emergency room doors.
"I will Doc," he said with closing his Black leather jacket with the zipper having to be cold.
Reaching the ambulance. Taft handed the paperwork to the driver telling him where to go with the patient.
"We know how to get there Doctor Taft and we will be sure to give a smooth ride for your friend." Technician Robbie Ellison said while they were using the ramp to raise Gibbs and his wheelchair into the back with tying him down securely with the belts.
Special Agent Gibbs was feeling better now that he was out of the hospital as Taft shakes his hand before the doors were being closed and the driver slowly took off with making the turn onto the street heading for the highway.
Gibbs was feeling the bumps since the transportation department was once again fixing the roads. The driver looked back to say. "Don't worry I will be sure to take it slowly until we reach the highway to the safe house. Just relax for now?" he will say with taking another street to head for the exit.
SAFE HOUSE
Lt. Loriele Ann Baskins arrived at Marcie's quarters to give her the brochure on the different activities of the safe house. She knocked on the door to have Marcie dressed in a flowery blue and green robe with her slippers.
"I am Lt. Baskins, I am here to give you this with the brochure of activities. I will be here in the morning around nine o'clock. I am hoping that you will be able to pick one activity as with your husband Gibbs. I heard that the ambulance has left the hospital with your husband?" she said.
"Thanks, I will take a look at it, Lt. Baskins," Marcie said with a tone to keep her cool, calm, and collective...
"Excuse me I have other clients to be seen. See you tomorrow," she responded with Marcie closing the door with a deep sigh with not wanting to be starting up a conversation with her about her ex-boyfriend Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
