Chapter 38th

"Look Marcie, it's the truth for when it comes to your husband Leroy Jethro Gibbs having to be obsessed for when it comes to going after Paul Lemere or any other enemy of his. He's not been the same since the explosion of his boat."

"Jethro was desperate for when his boat exploded with him being thrown overboard. Having these types of therapy sessions to talk things out for the most part?" Marcie snapped back at the therapist with the shake of her head.

"However for Gibbs, he's not really said as much with his last session before he left for the operation with his team members from NCIS, and putting himself in danger along with everyone else," she responded with the truth.

"I realize that Doctor and my husband at times is closed off from his own emotions and including myself. It's why that I am frustrated for the most part." she had to exhale from the stress building.

"And unfortunately for your son Shane, he is the one to be suffering as with yourself? Even though he didn't even say the proper goodbye." she croaks out with the response.

"How well I know this Doctor Confalone and there was nothing I was able to do at that point in time before he left for Reston, Virginia to meet with the others at the hotel." she cried out in distress...

Marriott hotel Reston, Virginia

It was still relatively early with Timothy McGee, Torres, Knight, and most of all Leroy Jethro Gibbs. They had walked into the hotel to sign in since all of the suites had been paid by the D.O.D. and SECNAV using the monies from when Wynn Crawford having been arrested and the 350 million dollars in a special account.

Gibbs signed his name first by picking up his essentials from the floor and including his rifle and scope hopefully to be using it on serial killer/Paul Lemere.

McGee had to remind Torres and Knight that there was going to be a briefing later in his suite with Gibbs to be going over all of the details.

In unison..."Sure enough." they say before moving over to the elevator with McGee and Gibbs quietly moving inside with Torres to punch in the number floor.

Moments later they arrived on the almost empty floor. There was only one other moving out of their suites to be heading for the very same elevator. It was a redhead woman in her early fifties looking back at Gibbs moving into his suite with the key card. She liked what she was seeing with the SILVER FOX as she walked inside heading down to the casino on the lower level and shopping center.

Special Agent Gibbs had been concentrating too much on the operation in order not to notice the woman in the first place.

Pulling off his black leather jacket onto the chair next to the nice black leather couch to his liking. He sat down on the couch to relax his mind and body before moving off all of his clothes to be ready in the morning for the operation.

He was anxious nevertheless with a deep exhale before closing his eyes with his last thoughts of his wife Marcie.
