Doctor Garland in charge of Special Agent Gibbs had made sure his vitals were doing after being placed in ICU after spending an hour in recovery. From his understanding is the fact that his wife was on her way over to the hospital flying in on a flight for American Airlines.
Walking out of his private room to speak with his friends from NCIS after talking to the other doctor working on Special Agent Timothy McGee. He was standing in front of the waiting area walking inside to see three tired agents asleep.
When all of a sudden Nicholas Torres jumped up asking about Leroy Jethro Gibbs. "How is he, doctor?" Nick will ask with his concern showing.
"He's going to be alright in time. Even though I am more concerned with the fact that his concussion will be the problem along with the gash on the side of his head. We will be needing to be keeping a close watch on him with possible fluid building up." he says to them.
"When will you know anything Doctor Garland?" Special Agent Knight had to ask with seeing his nametag.
"Mostly a few days. By the way, when is Mrs. Gibbs supposed to be arriving at the hospital?" he will ask them.
"Marcie sent me a text message letting me know that she was able to board her flight an hour ago Doctor Garland. So it's going to be a while before she gets here?" Special Agent Knight will tell him.
"What about Special Timothy McGee and his health?" Lt. James Brown just had to ask the question.
"He's going to be fine with a broken right arm and leg. Otherwise, there are no other problems to speak of right now. Has anyone contacted his wife?" Doctor Garland will say to them.
"Delilah is unable to make it with her being in a wheelchair right now along with being in the later stages of her pregnancy. " Special Agent Knight will advise him with the information.
"Smart move with having a woman getting ready to have a baby is not a good thing. But does she know about her husband's condition?" he alluded with the rubbing the back of his neck after such a long day for him.
"She knows Doctor Garland," Nick says with closing his eyes for a moment exhausted.
"If you need to sleep. There is a motel and hotel ten miles south of the Medical Center and the prices are low for visitors?" he will be preceded with the information.
"I think we will do this Doctor Garland. By the way, when do you think both men will be waking up?" Knight had to ask him being concerned for both men for NCIS.
"Five to six hours at best. Nurses will be ordered to check on them every hour with checking their vitals for any problems with their breathing. By the way, I understand that Doctor Cyril Taft is Special Agent Gibbs heart specialist and Primary Care physician?" he had to say to them.
"That is correct Doctor Garland. If you want you can call him at Bethesda, hospital?" Special Agent Knight had his business card in her purse as she pulls it out to be handed to him.
"Thank you," he said. "I will call him to let him know the situation with his patient and no doubt a friend?" he presumed with his comment and question.
"They are Doctor Garland!" Nick said with a yawn.
