Chapter 51th

Doctor Garland didn't like the way the vitals were being shown on the computer terminal up above, while Gibbs and Marcie had been silent.

"Gibbs what about your chest any pain there?" the doctor had to ask as well with the importance of the question.

"No pain in my chest other than the head doctor." he snapped back hating to be in this position.

"Jethro, will you please relax already with coming all this way with staying by your side?" Marcie had to coax out with her response.

"I am trying to relax after that bastard Anton Alexi and the others getting away from the authorities?" He cries out with his hand hitting the side of him.

"I don't understand Mr. Gibbs why are your behaving like this in the first place?" Doctor Garland will say to his patient.

"Doctor, I am an agent for NCIS for a very long time until I started at the Acemedy as an Instructor with the once in awhile OFF THE BOOKS operations letting the bastard that blew up the Coppermine with myself and another agent under all of that debris." he exhales with his blood pressure slowly dropping a little.

"And with you here in the hospital was one of those operations?" Doctor Garland just had to ask.

"Yes, for the most part. Marcie, do you happen to know how Timothy McGee is doing?" Gibbs asked his wife Marcie to stay calm and collected throughout the exchange.

"From talking with Nicholas Torres and Knight that Tim is okay with having a broken arm and right leg as well Jethro to be extremely lucky that the both of you were killed in the processed?" she said cryptically with her response.

"To say the least Mrs. Gibbs to be here and with your husband having a very bad concussion and a gash on the side of his head?" Doctor Garland needed to say to them with picking up the medical chart to write down a few notes.

"And the pain was almost gone in my head Doctor with that pain medication given. Hopefully, now I will be able to sleep without any further trouble. I should be used to it with being par for the course from over the years with my job as team leader for NCIS."

"It's almost like being a doctor as well Gibbs with all of the headaches?" he flippantly needed to say to him...

"Thanks, doctor for your help and for giving my husband the pain medication." Marcie was pensive for a few moments, as she watched him leave the room finally...

"Thank god, he's gone, Marcie!" Gibbs noted with his comment.

"No doubt, and expect you to try and sleep since you need to recover from those injuries of yours?" Marcie was being serious at the moment.
