Chapter 52th

Marcie needed to relax now that Doctor Garland had left for the evening. She waited for her husband to at least try to fall asleep.

But instead, Leroy Jethro Gibbs was interested in talking instead. "Jesus Jethro, what is it you wish to say to say?"

Moving in his bed with a better position with the pain medication taking effect. "One thing for sure is the fact that medication worked dulling the pain in my head," he tells her with a slight smirk.

"Really! Thank goodness to have an ex-agent for NCIS acting like a baby all of the time?" Marcie was saying with her comment putting him on alert with her mood.''

"Marcie, why are you saying something like that to me with the one getting injured in that god damn Coppermine?"
Gibbs was being pensive with his comment to someone that was exhausted.

"Nevermind Jethro, I am just too tired to be thinking straight in the first place after the long flight," she tells him with her words. "At least I am here nevertheless?" she was acting defensive for the moment.

"Marcie, I need to make that apology to you for the way things had been going. I really didn't think that I and Tim were able to be rescued after all that debris fell on us. This had to be one of the worst situations besides having my boat blowing up on me with the Contract killer Paul Lemere placing the explosive?" he noted with a deep breath with his memories coming full force for that particular moment.

"Jesus, Jethro, you will be needing to try and take it easy already. You're going to be out of here soon depending on what you're doctors have to say?" Marcie says with getting up from the chair to bend down to kiss her husband on his brow.

With the shake of his head with the bandages covering the gash on the right side of his head. "By the way since I am stuck here for now. How long do you expect to be staying here Marcie? I know that Shane can't be alone without his parents." Gibbs said as a father, husband, and provider.

"Shane will be alright Jethro with Madeline watching over him for the most part. As for your question, I might be staying three days at best depending on what the doctors have to say for when it comes to your concussion." she was miff for the moment.

"Meaning on whether fluid is developed with the gash and concussion with the brain stem since I am not a doctor?" Gibbs advised with a deep breath.

"Correct." she tells him with the truth..."It all depends on you and the doctor." she exhales with sitting back down on the chair.
