MLP FIM Season 10 Episode 3- Retirement Blues
As the sun rose over Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle has awaked feeling more mentally ready for the role of Equestria's leader. The events of recent had been awake call not to her but for those closest to her. Standing in front of her bedroom mirror she adjusted her new crown made up of Celestia and Luna's old crowns and took a deep breath. "You've got this, Twilight," She whispered to herself. "You've got this."
Stepping into her gold slippers, she made her way downstairs for breakfast when notice some sounds coming from the kitchen she went into the kitchen and saw Celestia making a stack of pancakes.
"Ah…Twilight," Celestia chuckled making a fruit face on the pancakes. "I thought you'd like this 'First Day of Ruling Breakfast; It always helped me whenever I began my day."
"Aw, thanks, Celestia your was always the master of pancakes," Twilight replied.
"I'll say these are the best pancakes I have ever tasted," said Yusei.
As three enjoyed breakfast Luna and the twins have walked into the dining room.
"Moring you guys, how Stygian's book? Luna." Asked Yusei.
Putting the book down and toward her attention to Yusei. "Very…interesting, to say the least. I must say that his struggle is a lot like mine." Luna replied.
As Celestia scolds Luna for reading at the dinner, the former princess of the sun was having a problem that concerns Trevor.
"Uh, Celestia is everything okay? " Trevor asked.
"I'm okay…is just that I having a hard time adjusting post-royalty." Said, Celestia.
"What do you mean?' asked Tyler.
"Well…look at it this way Luna as annoying as it… you've taken a reading," Celestia said.
"Of course I have a sister and don't forget my memoirs that I'm writing." Luna nodded as she used her magic to make a stack of paper appear at the table.
"Wow, I'm impressed Luna your writing talent." Said Yusei as stunned by the papers.
Hours Later at the shop where Scarlet and Cherry were stocking on supplies for school.
"You'll have to excuse my parents they have been longing for me to interact with ponies," Scarlet said.
"It's alright. Did you attend the coronation afterparty?" asked Cherry.
"No, it was too much for me to take in," Scarlet answered. " Cherry, there is something that you need to know about."
"What's that?' asked Cherry.
Taking a deep breath Scarlet whispered in her ear and said. " I have social anxiety, a mild case though."
"Oh that makes sense why you are edge when we first met," said Cherry Gem.
"Yeah interacting with people or ponies can be of a challenge." Said, Scarlet. "Ooh look at the time…I got to go see you later.
"Bye." Said Cherry Gem.
Meanwhile…Celestia was preparing for her weekend getaway to Silver Shoals until this happens.
"Oh, hi Starlight. What's up?" said Celestia as she heard her knocking on the door.
"Just thought I'd come into seeing how…with the idea of going to Silver Shoals for the weekend. Said the new Headmare of the School of Friendship.
"I have given some…do you think that creatures will want a retired alicorn princess teaching them? The students…want a teacher on their level." Said, Celestia.
After a mild-mannered conversation, the pony sisters have visited Sliver Shoals where they meet with Dusty Pages after they said their greetings they move to the activities.
First, they tried windsurfing. As Celestia felt the cool breeze of the ocean a small jumped out of the water and cause her to lose balance hurled into the water much to Luna and Dusty dismayed.
Secondly, they painting. Where Luna excels with painting the moon Celestia was having a hard time with a portrait of the sunset. After gardening and doing theater Celestia was fed up and stormed out of the auditorium to have a moment to herself as Trevor showed up.
"Let me guess Celestia you having a hard time?" asked Trevor.
"Yes, ever since that I retired I feel that anything I do it's not right for me." Said Celestia as she dropped a tear.
"Yeah, I can understand why but you know that Twilight send us here to help you and Luna to do now you have a lot of free time." Said, Trevor.
"I tried everything today and nothing was calling to me." Said, Celestia.
"Well if you want my suggestion do what you best which is teaching, after all, you taught Twilight all you know of magic, and deep down you always have the skills for teaching," said Trevor as he hugged her.
Realizing that he was right, Celestia made amendments to Luna and Dusty and have a nice vacation. After the weekend was concluded both of them went to the School of Friendship and told Starlight that there were going to be teachers. As the moment went on Twilight Sparkle walked in.
"I trust you're going to teach her after all. Well, I have somepony here that I would like you both to meet. This my protégé Scarlet Blossom." Twilight said.
"It's very nice to meet you both, professors." Scarlet greeted them while bowing to them.
"Scarlet Blossom," Celestia remarked. "I having to feel that this is going to be the beginning of a wonderful relationship between us: You, Twilight, Luna, and myself."
