MLP FIM Season 10 Episode 6-Student and Teacher
Rarity went about her morning like any other day. Getting her flagship store ready for another day of business in Ponyville. But this day as the fashion unicorn looking for the arrival of her biggest fan.
"Rarity," Yona greeted as she walked into the shop. "Yona hear that another pony coming to Ponyville?"
"Of course Yona." Rarity replied turning to face the young yak ."He is a pony I met a while back…needs to learn to tame his talents through focused study. Pardon me, I quoted Celestia when she took on Twilight. But I would like to have you and Jackie lend a hand and be supportive."
"No Problem, Yona can be supportive. That what makes Yona a good cheerleader!"
A couple of hours later that Pistachio had arrived in Ponyville.

At the Carousel Boutique.
"Well now Pistachio how about this? Let's see if you make an organza scarf?" Rarity suggested.
"All right I can do that." Pistachio nodded.
Sometime later the colt was hard at work while Rarity, Yona, and Jackie were overlooking his progress.
"How is he doing?" Jackie asked.
"Shh, let him focus.' The unicorn whispered to her.
FIVE Hours Later Pistachio had finished and shown the scarf to them.
"So what do you guys think?"
"Very impressive my good sir."
"This isn't bad… it accepted to a degree." Rarity added. "If you don't mind if I showed this to my friends?'
"Of course," Pistachio excitedly answered. I'm sure they love it."
Later that night
"Well, Rarity I don't under fashion at all but man he's good." Applejack and Jaden said as they look at the scarf.
"I know but Pistachio he a lot to learn especially when comes to work with something outside his comfort zone." Rarity said.
"In other words, he needs to be tested, " Twilight commented, as she also studied the hat. "Kind of like how I was tested back in the day."
"Exactly,' Rarity nodded. "But I fear how will react when I have to criticize him." Dreading the possibility.
"We're always criticizing the recruits at Wonderbolt Academy, but l learned to accept it, Let the dude make mistakes. Part of the failure is learning how to improve for next time." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
At that moment both Celestia and Luna walked in.
"Well everyone how is every doing this fine evening?" Celestia asked.
"Just great, oh by the way Rarity has a new fashion student and he seems got something to show for it." Bonnie said she showed them the hat striking Luna's interest.
"Let me see that," as Luna took the hat placed it on her head then suddenly she fell a little itchy and hastily took it off. "My deepest apologies, Miss Rarity, I just can't stand wool. It makes me itch."
"Yeah, should have mentioned this earlier wool makes me break out in hives." Said Lana as she shows hives.
"Well look like you got him to work other kinds of fabric other than wool." Said Sonic.
"Very well." Rarity said as she knew that he had so much to learn.
The Next Day
"All right, Pistachio, you're probably wondering how your hat went over with my friends." Rarity said.
"Yeah, How did it go?" He asked.
Taking a deep breath, Rarity kept her composure. "Most of them…liked it."
"Just..liked that? Are sure about that?" Pistachio asked her.
"Well if I can To be blunt it would seems that your fondness for wool is…probably not enough for some ponies."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well if you stick to one kind of fabric, you quickly lose your creativity as an artist. Now I'm going to give a much harder task to do." Rarity said. "I want you to make me a gala dress!"
Pistachio let out a sharp gasp "But…but I've never made one before!"
"Well there's no better time to learn than right now, darling, and remember as your fashion mentor I must challenge you accordingly." Rarity said. "And I won't be the only judging your work, Coco Pommel my friend from Manehatten also had agreed."
Right away the colt began his worked causing the yak to be confused.
"Yona wondering if this good idea," Yona remarked.
"Of course it is, Yona," Rarity insisted. "He has ambitious, but he had to be brought down to better."
"All we can do is wait to see if he is up to the task." Jackie is concerned for Pistachio.
Hours Later Pistachio had shown his gala dress to both Rarity and Coco unfortunately neither Rarity nor Coco was not impressed causing him to not wanted. After some time Coco followed him trying to comfort him.
"Look, I'm sorry that didn't go well." Coco apologized.
"Apparently I need a lot of practice, look I just want all my creations to be perfect, Coco." Pistachio sulked.
"To be honest with you, I used to be like you striving for perfection but unfortunately all it did would bring me confidence down with work for Suri Polomare."
"No way! You used to work with Suri!?" Pistachio asked.
"Yeah, until Rarity and I gave the confidence to accept criticism. And it's made me not only a better fashion designer, but also a better pony in general."
After Coco and Pistachio talked things out the asked Rarity that would be better than she took him under her wing.
One week later at the Castle of Friendship
"Well has been a long time that seen Coco in a time." Said Trevor.
"Speaking of Coco what happened to Suri Polomare after she lost Fashion Week all those years ago?" asked Spike.
"Who knows, but I hope she doesn't have the nerve to get back in the fashion game." Rarity declared.
Little did she know that Suri Polomare was already getting back in the action by opening a new fashion shop hoping to run Rarity business out of Manehatten.
"Just you wait Rarity considered yourself expired." Said Suri as she laughed to herself.
