They soon continued along in the snow with their added company.
"I never knew Christmas Eve could be so tiring and adventurous," Jack said before looking over to his twin sister. "You all right, Jill?"
"Oh, I'm fine," Jill replied. "I'm just wondering about this whole Christmas thing. What does it really all mean."
"That's a really good question," Jack said softly. "I'm sure I'll get an answer sooner or later, especially with Aunt Alice, Uncle Hatter, and even Mother and Father. However, I do happen to know one thing."
"Tell me." Jill said to her twin brother with a small, but still visible smile.
"Well, I may know about Christmas as much as you do which is very little, but I do know that one thing is that you give someone a Christmas present and then it shows that you really care about them." Jack then said as wisely as he could.
Jill began to look very soft and thoughtful about what her twin brother just said to her. "That sounds like a good thing." she then said softly.
"Yes, it sure is," Jack nodded. "Maybe we'll go ask Aunt Alice more about it."
And at that, Jack and Jill then followed Phillip, Jingles, and Clara across the bridge since they had a key to find. Jill still looked thoughtful and curious, but she felt somewhat better than she did before as they continued to enjoy their brand new Christmas adventure as much as possible. They then crossed the bridge and made it into a dark forest surrounded by mushrooms which looked like what Jack and Jill imagined what Wonderland would probably look like as they rode on the horse with Clara as Phillip led the horse around the forest.
"Guess we're not in London anymore." Clara noted as she looked around their new surroundings.
"London? What's London?" Phillip soon asked out of confusion.
"It's where I'm from." Clara informed.
Phillip nodded before he then looked over into the woods. "Clara? What are we looking for?" he then asked the young girl.
"A gold key." Clara replied.
"It must be important, this key." Phillip said as he looked around as they explored the woods.
Jack and Jill felt nervous at the woods, but they stayed brave as they faced worse than this and even had special Looking Glass training.
"It is. Very," Clara nodded to Phillip before she looked at him and seemed to sense something hidden deep down. "Are you scared, Captain?" she then asked cautiously.
"Me? Never." Phillip replied until Jingles snorted, almost as though the horse disagreed with that sentence.
"This has to be a dream, right?" Jill asked her brother. "There's just no way that this could actually be happening, like with Clara being a princess."
"I don't know, but I don't think so, Jill," Jack replied. "We've seen stranger things with The Avengers Grimm and Aunt Alice's Sinister Squad."
Jill looked unsure, though she nodded as she had to admit that that was true about both of them.
"I'm afraid it's all too real." Phillip told the twins.
Jill then looked at him a bit curiously. "Are you out here all by yourself, Captain?" she then asked the soldier.
"Of course," Phillip replied. "I'm the only nutcracker in the entire kingdom."
"Don't you get lonely?" Clara then asked.
"Lonely? No. I know my place," Phillip replied. "That's good enough for me."
"You're lucky," Clara said with a sigh then. "I wish I knew mine."
As they continued to travel, a group of mice squeaked and came into the scene as one of them clearly had Clara's key still in its mouth.
"But you're the daughter of the queen," Phillip reminded Clara. "Surely you know your place."
"I'm afraid not," Clara told him. "That's why I have to find that key."
"How about you two then?" Phillip then asked the twins.
"It's a bit complicated for us, but I'm sure that we'll be able to manage." Jack replied.
"Then we shall do exactly that. Finding Clara's key for her." Phillip then said to them.
"We'll help out as much as we can." Jill added.
"That's the spirit." Phillip smiled at her enthusiasm.
Jill smiled back as she began to feel proud of herself.
"Clara's mother was a queen?" Jack and Jill asked in surprise.
"Oh, yes," Phillip nodded truthfully. "Queen Marie Stahlbaum: ruler of The Four Realms."
Jack and Jill just looked amazed at their new friend, though she was probably more surprised and amazed than they were about the news. As they continued along the path, a mouse soon scampered out and squeaked at them before they got too far away.
"Stop!" Clara suddenly called out at the sight of the mouse before she hopped off of the horse with the twins.
"Stop that mouse!" Jill added. "He has Clara's key!"
"Mouserinks!" Phillip called out once he saw the mouse in question. "That diabolical little rodent."
"You know that mouse?" Jack asked Phillip.
"It's a long story," Phillip replied as he drew out his sword. "We need to approach with extreme caution!"
Jingles was neighing and soon got away from the scene as the kids went after the rodent who had Clara's key.
"Coward!" Phillip complained to the horse before looking worried for the young ones instantly. "Children, wait!"
Clara and the twins continued to go after the mouse who had Clara's key and was trying to hide from them against a tree stump.
"Give me my key back, you horrid little mouse!" Clara ranted as she scolded the mouse. "That key belongs to me! Come on out of there! Come on!"
Jack and Jill came to Clara's sides as they tried to help her out, but they had bigger problems right behind them. There was a squeaking sound heard, but it was louder and even scarier than it once was before. The kids then looked over to see what looked like a giant mouse created in the form of other mice who looked rather terrifying and uncomfortable to be around. The giant mouse monster then swarmed the kids, but mostly took the girls which made them scream.
"Jill! Clara!" Jack called out in concern.
"Let me go!" Jill cried out.
"Put me down!" Clara added. "Put me down! Captain! Captain, help me! Captain!"
Phillip soon rushed in with his sword to scare away the mutant and beastly mouse.
"Okay, Jack... Jill's in trouble... You're her big brother... It's your job to look after your little sister," Jack said to himself before he took a deep breath and tried to channel the inner superpower he learned about with the rest of The Avengers Grimm. "Shape... Of... A big cat!" he then called out before he changed in form and size into a cat to go after the monstrous mutant mouse. He then hissed and yowled and lunged out suddenly, tackling the monstrous mutant mouse to the ground and began to fight it.
"What on Earth?!" Clara gasped once she saw the giant cat.
"Way to go, Jack!" Jill soon cheered thankfully in relief.
"Jack?" Clara asked out of confusion.
"Run!" Phillip told the girls before he took them away for their own safety.
"What is that thing?" Jill asked after they were taken away from the beast that attacked them.
"It's The Mouse King, but I'm not sure what that other thing was," Phillip replied as they began to escape. "Don't look back. Just keep running."
Phillip, Jill, and Clara then continued to run before Jack soon changed back into his human form and smirked at himself. He then looked around before he saw where the others went and went to run off after them after "The Mouse King" was defeated, though they still had Clara's key which would probably be saved later. At least hopefully.
"I think we've lost him," Phillip said hopefully until he heard a branch snapped which startled him as he drew out his sword suddenly. "Show yourself!" he then demanded.
However, it was luckily not a threat and was just a rather comforting and friendly new friend in the form of a horse.
"Oh. Jingles. Jingles, good boy," Phillip smiled calmly once he saw who it was. "Children, we need to go." he then urged the young ones, especially Clara.
"Not without my key." Clara pouted.
"Is it worth it anymore?" Jill asked with a sigh. "I mean... I know that Mouse King is gone now, but is it worth going through any more trouble just to get it back?"
"Well-" Clara began until they heard background stomping and someone seemed to be peeking out from behind the fog deep into the woods.
"Who's intruding in my realm?" A booming voice demanded from behind the woods.
"Okay. Maybe going is a good idea." Clara then suddenly said to Phillip and the twins.
"Good." Jill nodded then.
"Is that you, Clara Stahlbaum?" The voice demanded while echoing. "Why are you here? I have your key."
"I don't like that whoever that is that they know who Clara is." Jack commented.
"Me neither." Jill added.
"It's a trap," Phillip warned the young ones. "If you go, you'll never come back. No one ever does."
"I definitely don't like the sound of that." Jack and Jill replied in equal agreement.
"Me neither, now come along," Phillip said as he helped the kids onto the horse's back. "You two might be in trouble too."
Jack and Jill nodded as they joined Phillip and Clara onto Jingles' back.
"Clara! Come here and get your key!" The voice demanded as they soon escaped on the horse. "Clara!"
"Well, I definitely don't like the sound of... Whatever that was." Jack remarked.
"No one's disagreeing with you," Clara said to Jack before she looked back at the soldier who helped them escape. "What was that?" she then asked the adult man.
"That was Mother Ginger and she doesn't like intruders." Phillip informed as Jingles galloped away, allowing them to make their escape from the one called Mother Ginger.
Clara glanced over one last time into the fog as they continued to escape. As they got away, a certain owl seemed to be watching them before leaving its tree and it then flew off after them as they left the forest and went over to some sort of palace. It was a lot bigger and even more grand than Queen Snow and King Charles' kingdom, even back in the land of Once Upon a Time.
"So, you said something about Clara's mother being The Queen of the Four Realms?" Jack soon asked Phillip as they rode out of the forest they had just come from.
"Yes. It's a very long story that I will tell you and Clara about very soon." Phillip promised.
Jack and Jill nodded as they looked around and saw the kingdom coming up close. It really amazed and impressed them even more than Snow and Charles' kingdom, but before they could get any further, they were quickly stopped by other soldiers dressed in the same uniform as Phillip. One was short and wide and the other was tall and thin.
"Halt!" The short soldier called.
"I need to get to the palace." Phillip told the guards.
"I'm sure you do, sunshine, but we have procedures around here." The short soldier retorted.
"Protocols." The tall soldier added.
"I'm Captain Phillip Hoffman and I demand you let us through." Phillip retorted.
The soldiers disagreed as they began to mock and tease Phillip.
"Oh! 'Demand', is it now? 'Demand', oh."
"Captain Hoffman of the famous Hoffmans, is it? Well, if we'd known you were coming, we would have rolled out the red carpet, booked the trumpeteers."
"Captain Hoffman has arrived."
"For goodness' sake, she's a princess." Phillip retorted as he gestured to Clara.
"Jill is too and I'm a prince since our parents are Queen Snow White and King Charles Charming III." Jack added, defending himself and his sister as well.
"Well, they all say that these days," The tall soldier scoffed. "Wishing don't make it so, my love."
"Overindulgent fathers, that's what I put it down to." The short soldier added.
Phillip then had an idea. "Would it help if I told you that her name was Clara Stahlbaum?" he then asked the other soldiers. "Daughter of Marie Stahlbaum?"
The soldiers then quickly stammered and looked nervous once they realized how important Clara actually was.
"All right, just a few questions, Your Highness, and you'll be on your way." The tall soldier said before he took out what looked like a clipboard and a pen.
"This is ridiculous." Jack groaned and rolled his eyes as not even his and Jill's adoptive parents' had such a poor Royal Guard even before Rumplestiltskin took over the army with his Thralls.
"Have you had any contact with mice or mouse-like entities recently?" The tall soldier soon asked Clara.
"We were in The Fourth Realm." Clara simply stated.
"Thank you," The tall soldier nodded as he wrote something down, or appeared to, it didn't look like he was actually writing. "Do you have any cheese or cheese-based products on or about your person?" he then asked.
"We-" Jill piped up.
"Thank you," The tall soldier nodded before he kept going. "How would you describe your sympathies towards rodents in general?"
"Well-" Jack started.
"Thank you. Good, right," The tall soldier nodded. "Well, that is the survey complete."
"There's no ink coming out your pen." The short soldier whispered to him, though Jack and Jill seemed to hear it.
"You may pass, please." The tall soldier then told their company.
"Attention! Lower the bridge!" The short soldier yelled out suddenly. "Thank you."
"Lower the drawbridge!" The tall guard added as the drawbridge was being lowered just for them, allowing them to go on through.
"What was that all about?" Jack asked Phillip.
"Don't worry about it." Phillip replied as he rode Jingles down the bridge so that they could go into the kingdom.
As the other soldiers handled the drawbridge, Phillip and the kids looked around. As they got inside the palace, they saw a whole bunch of people who walked about and enjoyed their day before they took a look and looked surprised at the sight of Clara and they seemed to start whispering about her almost like she got famous overnight.
"Is that Marie's daughter?" A woman asked in excitement.
"She's so beautiful." A man commented.
"Who are those children with her though?" A second woman wondered at the sight of Jack and Jill.
"Make way for the princess!" A soldier called out to the people.
The people stepped back a bit and soon began to bow down and curtsy just for Clara. There was even a small group of soldiers surrounding them before playing fanfare from their trumpets. The kids even spotted a framed portrait of a woman on the wall as they came down the corridor.
"Mother." Clara said softly as she instantly recognized who the woman in the portrait was.
Jack and Jill then looked soft as they gave thoughtful looks over to the portrait of Clara's late mother even if they didn't get to meet her. More doors opened for them and even more armed soldiers were shown with their weapons, but luckily not using them right now as they weren't at war right now. There were three people in the room who appeared to be sitting in swan-based thrones before they looked over to see that they had company.
"Your Excellencies... May I present Miss Clara Stahlbaum and their friends Prince Jack Charming and Princess Jill Charming from another world." Phillip soon announced to the royals in the room.
Jack and Jill smiled as they got to be included.
"Is it true? It is true," A man spoke up, appearing to be all green like he came from a flower garden. "I'm Hawthorne: Regent of the Land of Flowers, at your most humble service." he then introduced himself before taking a bow.
Clara smiled in slight amusement to him.
"I am Shiver: Regent of the Land of Snowflakes, ma'am," A second man spoke up, appearing to be all white and icy blue, looking like he just came from a blizzard. "An honor."
"You look so cold," Jill commented. "Are you all right?"
"Yes, yes, I'm quite fine," Shiver reassured. "And the Regent of the Land of Sweets: Sugar Plum." he then concluded, gesturing to the final royal in the room who appeared to be a sugary sweet pink woman.
"I never thought this day would come," Sugar Plum beamed sweetly as she stood up and walked over to Clara along with Shiver and Hawthorne, surrounding Clara instantly. "Oh, tell us, we long for news. How is our queen, dear Marie?" she then asked expectingly.
Jack and Jill suddenly looked sorrowful as they knew that this wouldn't end very well.
"My mother?" Clara asked softly.
"We miss her so." Sugar Plum nodded hopefully.
"You don't know?" Clara asked softly, trying very hard not to break down in tears. "My mother, she's..."
Jack gave a small, but sympathetic smile as he gently patted Clara on the shoulders for her to have the courage to tell the truth.
Clara gave a small smile back to Jack, appreciating his help before she looked back at the three adult royals and revealed what happened to his mother. "She died." she then finally revealed, trying very hard not to cry.
The three royals instantly gasped in concern and sadness about someone they had known so long was now no longer with them.
"Marie, dead? We are so sorry for your loss," Sugar Plum replied softly and somberly. "To leave life so young... She was the most beautiful, wonderful... She meant everything to us. Everything."
Jack and Jill just looked soft and tried to comfort Clara as much as possible. They had lost their birth mother too even if they had Snow White as their mother now. The three royals then came to show the kids a curtain to show a certain throne that was there that looked like it hadn't been used in years.
"This throne looks a bit old." Jack commented.
"Yes, it would." Shiver nodded.
"This was your mother's throne, Clara," Hawthrone added. "Your Grace."
Clara looked at the throne in very much amazement so far.
"Have you come to save us, Clara?" Sugar Plum asked hopefully.
Clara frowned as she had to be truthful. "No." she then said softly.
Sugar Plum then gasped as Hawthorne and Shiver looked concerned.
"I'm sorry. We didn't even know this place existed before today," Clara said to the three adult royals. "You see, we were looking for a Christmas present from my godfather."
Hawthorne suddenly looked excited. "I love Christmas!" he then whispered ignorantly. "...What's Christmas?"
The others decided to ignore his question.
"And then we ran into this horrible little mouse." Jill then added from Clara's story.
"Mouse?" Sugar Plum whispered in concern.
"And that's when we met the captain." Jack soon added.
"We barely escaped Mother Ginger and The Mouse King." Phillip then said as he stepped into the room suddenly.
Sugar Plum gasped as she looked scared to death for the young ones. "You met Mother Ginger? Oh, my dear children, you're lucky to be alive." she then coaxed almost maternally.
"You must promise never to go back to the Land of Amusements, Clara!" Hawthrone warned the young ones.
Shiver and Sugar Plum then sent Hawthorne a look almost as though he said something he wasn't supposed to.
"Hawthorne!" Sugar Plum scolded.
"Its title has been rescinded, Hawthorne!" Shiver added.
Oh!" Hawthorne said nervously. "Of c-c-c-course. I meant The Fourth Realm. Apologies," he then said as he was saying too much as Shiver and Sugar Plum tried to shut him up. "I'm just so upset. Forget I ever mentioned the Land of-"
Jack and Jill began to look curious as well as concerned.
"It's pure fortune you got out alive," Hawthorne then told the young ones. "No one ever escapes from The Fourth Realm."
"Hawthorne is right," Shiver added as they came back into the main throne room from when they all first met. "We can't risk losing our princess when she's only just arrived as well as her new friends."
"But-" Clara spoke up, sounding unsure.
"And talking of arriving, we need to organize a pageant to celebrate your coming." Hawthorne then added rather jovially.
"And a tour of the realms." Shiver then added.
"Oh, this is so exciting!" Sugar Plum cheered as she hopped up in the air and suddenly sprouted wings like a fairy behind her back. "I love a pageant!"
Jack and Jill gasped in surprise to see fairy wings from Sugar Plum's wings and didn't expect to see that.
"What's the matter?" Sugar Plum asked them innocently. "Haven't you seen wings on a fairy before?"
"Well, sure, we just didn't know that you were a fairy," Jack replied. "Do you know Tinkerbell?"
"Oh! Oh, of course I do," Sugar Plum smiled. "All fairies know each other through The Fairy Grapevine. Didn't you know that?"
"Well, no, but that does sound interesting." Jill admitted with a small smile.
"How do you know Tinkerbell?" Sugar Plum asked the twins curiously.
"It's a funny story actually," Jack replied. "You see, we-"
"That sounds lovely, but we have to get back to Drosselmeyer's party." Clara suddenly interrupted so that they could get back to the task at hand.
The three royals looked to each other before they began to laugh a little bit.
"W-Well, hey! What's so funny?" Jack complained. "Don't you know it's rude to not share your jokes with others?"
"Oh, there's no joke," Hawthrone replied. "It's just that you all don't know."
"Don't know what?" Jill asked. "If you don't mind us asking of course."
"Time is very different in the realms." Shiver gently explained.
"Very." Hawthorne added.
The kids looked very curious.
"Come. I'll show you." Sugar Plum invited the young ones with a soft and gentle smile.
"Princess Clara, I'll be returning to my post now." Phillip soon told Clara.
"You are not leaving us. That's an order." Clara suddenly told the nutcracker soldier without skipping a beat.
Phillip blinked with wide eyes as Clara gave a firm nod and smile before going to join Sugar Plum.
"Can we come too?" Jill asked Sugar Plum hopefully.
"Oh, of course you can, dears," Sugar Plum smiled. "Also how surprising that you know about Tinkerbell."
"Let's just say we go on a lot of adventures and know a lot of people too." Jack replied.
"Yeah. It's true." Jill added.
"Well then, come with me and this should be a lot of fun." Sugar Plum smiled warmly at the twins.
Clara smiled with Jack and Jill and they soon went off with Sugar Plum together to learn more about this world. It would probably be good to share with Looking Glass as well if they could share this secret with their Avengers Grimm family.
"Sugar Plum... Who's Mother Ginger?" Clara asked the fairy as she began to take them down a corridor leading up to a very special room.
"Well, she used to be a regent. Just like me and Hawthorne and Shiver," Sugar Plum began to explain. "She was the Regent of the Land of..." she then looked around before whispering the place that shall not be named out loud. "Amusements."
The kids then nodded as they waited to hear more from that.
"But now she is bani-shed." Sugar Plum then continued from there, saying the final word kind of funny.
Clara looked puzzled. "Why was she... Bani-shed?" she then asked.
"We had no choice, children," Sugar Plum replied softly. "She tried to take control of the other realms... By force."
"Oh, my..." Jill whispered in concern.
"But when her evil intentions became clear, even her own people deserted her," Sugar Plum then concluded softly. "And her realm... Fell to ruin."
Clara flinched and looked very sad and worried. "That's so tragic." she then said.
"Oui. Très terrible," Sugar Plum nodded before she suddenly looked happy again as a couple of doors were coming into view. "But things are looking up now that you're here, dear Clara. Come! It's time to put your mind at ease."
Jack and Jill looked curious and soon followed after the two as the doors opened. Inside, it looked like what looked like a mechanical workshop that had whirring in action.
"See anything familiar?" Sugar Plum asked hopefully.
Clara took a closer look as she would know better than the twins would. "It looks like the clock in Godfather's ballroom, but that's impossible." she then said to the fairy woman.
"Is it?" Sugar Plum replied with a small smile. "Stand very still." she then instructed them.
Clara, Jack, and Jill soon took each other's hands and they stood as very still as possible. Beside them appeared to be a statue of a regal man beside them and they soon looked down to see the party going on without them.
"Look! We're back." Jill pointed out.
"Yes," Clara added before she noticed something interesting. "Everything seems to be going so slowly."
"How is this possible?" Jack asked the fairy woman.
"Your world moves much more slowly than our world." Sugar Plum simply stated.
Jack and Jill nodded as that was interesting to know.
"Fritz and Louise," Clara said once she saw her brother and sister. "There they are."
"Uncle Hatter and his tea." Jack chuckled once he saw something interesting with Jill about their own family.
Jill giggled as well before she looked down. "There's Aunt Alice." she then pointed out.
"And look, there's Father," Clara added as she saw her father sitting with Alice, both of them seemed to be having a chat with each other. "He looks... Lost."
Jack frowned softly. "...Well, maybe you should've danced with him when he asked you. He seemed like he really wanted to do that." he then said.
Clara just gave Jack a tiny look, not saying anything about the subject, however.
"Everything looks different from the realms," Sugar Plum said to the children before they soon came into what looked like an attic filled with elegant gowns and suits for each of the children, almost as they were expected to be there and not just Clara. "Voila. For the pageant. Which one will you choose?" she then asked hopefully.
Clara looked bashful in response. "I'm not very good at dresses and hair, shoes..." she then said sheepishly as Jack and Jill took a look around for the outfits for them too.
"If I may be so bold as to suggest that I help?" Sugar Plum then offered to the girl.
Clara then looked hopeful. "Would you?" she then asked.
"It's my favorite thing!" Sugar Plum squealed before she took Clara to sit down in front of a mirror to get comfortable. "Oh, we will not disappoint them. You will look magnificent." she then promised.
"What should we pick out?" Jill asked the fairy.
"Whatever you would like," Sugar Plum reassured. "These are here for you too."
"Interesting... It's almost as though they were expecting us or something." Jack commented.
Jill looked thoughtful and curious.
Clara smiled as she sat down peacefully. "Did my mother ever talk about me?" she then asked the fairy woman.
Sugar Plum smiled back. "Oh, yes. All the time. Sometimes it seemed as if you were right here with us," she then told the girl. "Now, close your eyes. Close your eyes."
Clara looked curious before she closed her eyes, wondering what would happen. And soon, there was suddenly some magic that shimmered through the room. Jack and Jill looked down at each other before they smiled together in matching garland green outfits. Jill had a piece of holly in her hair as a hair accessory with white trim on her dress with a black belt and white tights with black dress shoes and Jack had a dark green bow tie to go with his suit, black dress shoes, and a black undershirt.
"Now, open your eyes." Sugar Plum then told Clara.
Clara opened her eyes and she gasped at her new look in the mirror. She had her hair in braids with golden ribbons and a golden gown to go with them, almost looking just like a princess.
"Wow..." Jack whispered in amazement at how Clara looked.
"Do you like it?" Sugar Plum asked softly.
"I love it," Clara replied as she stepped out and even showed off her new look to the twins who smiled at how she looked. "I look so different."
"You look so lovely, Clara." Jill replied.
Jack nodded as he agreed with his sister.
"Oh, thank you, Jill." Clara replied, appreciating the compliment.
"You look like the daughter of a queen." Sugar Plum replied as she soon brought the kids into a new room.
Hawthorne and Shiver soon came back to meet and greet with the children. The soldiers then played royal fanfare for the children as they were about to start the pageant.
"Ladies and gentlemen, on this momentous day in the history of The Four Realms, we are proud and privileged to present before you... Clara Stahlbaum, daughter of Queen Marie and her new friends: Prince Jack Charming and Princess Jill Charming, children of Queen Snow White and King Charles Charming III." Shiver soon announced to the people in the room.
The people in the room applauded the children, though mostly Clara since she meant the most to them.
"They're all staring at me, Sugar Plum." Clara whispered as she stepped down and was being led to the thrones of the royals, though there was one extra that stood out.
"Of course. You're every inch your mother's daughter." Sugar Plum smiled warmly at her as she began to take her seat with Hawthorne and Shiver while Jack and Jill decided to sit in the extra throne together.
Clara smiled very fondly all around before looking over at Jack and Jill who smiled back at her.
"Clara... You... You look so... So..." Jack started to say while blushing.
"Yes?" Clara asked softly and innocently.
"You look very... Er... Nice..." Jack said as he blushed a bit.
"Oh, thank you, Jack." Clara smiled thankfully. "You and Jill look simply marvelous too."
Jack blushed even more as he rubbed the back of his head a bit. Clara beamed before she looked over as the show was about to start for all of them as they sat comfortably in their seats.
"Shh... I think it's starting." Jill shushed as everything began to get dark.
Jack nodded as that seemed to be true.
